I quit. Cruisin with Royal Caribbean since 1999 and am a Pinnacle level (top tier) member. In the earlier days, the RCL cruises were more classy cruises with beautiful dinners and professional staff. We fell in love and stayed loyal for years. But over the years, RCL built more ships and became money hungry. They increased room capacity on all the ships, cut back on many elements that made ...

Half the ship was reserved by Orthodox Jew cruise. Half the restaurants and shows was for this and you were not allowed in. That’s fine but it would have been nice to know beforehand. They aired prayers over speakers and special guest speakers in public spaces. Lots of kids running around. I love the ship and have been on twice before. There is lots to do and the specialty restaurants were great. ...

We usually cruise in january. However we didnt know what yeshiva was. It is the kosher jewish spring break. More than half the ship was reserved for this group. That meant that the adults only section and serenity cafe was closed to non jews. The main dining was a disaster as half the ship could only eat special food. That meant people bringing their own plates and silverware and food. Many of the ...

Horrible Week on the Oasis of the Seas after Nora Virus Breakout

We along with 4 of our friends decided to try the Oasis of the Seas. We just happened to pick the week at the Nora Virus. Our trip was completely changed and not for the better because of the Nora Virus. There are so many things to list that I won't remember them all but let me say that the staff was so tired from all of their hard work cleaning the ship that they were either non-existent in ...

My husband and I have only cruised Royal Caribbean in the past and figured let's take our daughter for her first cruise for my husband's 40th birthday and Halloween. What a giant waste of money. RC has really gone down hill. Seems like RC keeps spending their money on advertising and private islands but not investing into their ships and staff. Here are some of the complaints that I pointed ...

The cruise was planned as a family cruise celebrating my granddaughter’s HS graduation. There were 18 in our group ages 12 to 77. Embarkation/debarkation was very smooth. Dining: Of course, rooms were not ready so 6,000 people were crowded around the open dining establishments which some felt was their place to sit and wait for their rooms. Speaking of dining, this was the best part of ...

e sailed on the Oasis of the Seas July 22nd, 2018... It was great if you love waiting in lines because they were everywhere. RC is trying to pack as many people as they can on a boat bc it's all about money and not the customer's experience. First the lost all our show reservations leaving us to wait in stand by lines. Their response- we shouldn't have booked the shows so early, we should've ...

As a frequent cruiser Royal disappointed... The online check in was a difficult process requiring phone calls and my time to fix... on board the staff did not go out of their way like other cruise lines do.. the food was ok and any special requests were a "no ".Trying ot obtain orders or water bottles which is complimentary on other cruise lines was a process .,, Finally the unauthorized mistaken ...
