Love Royal Caribbean, friendly, courteous, crew members. Clean ship, good food and plenty of activities. Normally well organized. We have sailed on two other RCL ships, Freedom of the Seas from Port Canaveral and Liberty of the Seas from Barcelona, both seven night cruises. Royal Caribbean has its own port facilities in Port Canaveral and in St Thomas, USVI. We had an anniversary dinner in Chops, food was excellent and staff was superb. Chops is Tops! The production of Andrew Loyd Weber's musical "CATS" was terrific. Reminded us of the London production. One of the nice things about Royal Caribbean, if you want activities, they have them. If you want quiet and just wish to relax you can do that as well. If you wish to take excursions there is a good selection to choose from. If you just want to relax on board in port, you can do that. There is great selection of dining options. All the food options we tried were excellent. Food service is available 24/7. Read Less

We chose this cruise because Port Canaveral is close to where we live and we wanted to sail on a big ship, the Oasis of the Seas. The week before the cruise both of us suffered leg injuries so our mobility was limited. We elected to stay on board the ship and enjoy what they have to offer. We loved the walk in the park (8) and the Promenade deck (5). The shows were OK but we missed the diving show which we understand is great. Bingo was fun but the room where it is held is poor. Most people cannot see the board and have to rely on TV monitors to see the numbers called if you can see that far. We were in a mini-suite and got to eat dinner in the Coastal Kitchen which is more private than the main dining room and the food is excellent. We also ate at Giovanni's Italian restaurant which was excellent. The Windjammer was extremely crowded most of the time due to the large number of passengers but the food was very good and the service was good also. We selected any time dining and we did eat several meals in the main dining room which was excellent. The mini-suite on this ship is almost 300 square feet with a very nice balcony. The in room cable system is still lacking if you want more that one news channel (CNN). Read Less

We just got back from a cruise on oasis we had room 6198 Balcony room! It was a great room with extended balcony! I read some negative reviews about this ship before we went but found it to be outstanding in every area! It was our first mega ship cruise we were a bit concerned about so many people but it was never a problem! There are so many restaurants on the ship we never had to stand in a long line!! Embarking and disembarking was very fast everything ran so smoothly!! Royal Caribbean has outdone itself!! This ship runs like a well oiled machine!! The entertainment was outstanding!! There was something fun to do every evening!! Service was fantastic!! Every one goes out of there way to meet your needs...Can't think of one thing to complain about!! This was our first cruise and was much more then we expected, The ship is awesome and the crew and staff are first class all the way. The dining experiences were very good and one is sure to gain weight. :}. The entertainment was first class, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the shows we saw, especially Jazz on.4. We didn't go on shore the first stop and found we really had the ship to ourselves. No crowding in the pools or hot tubs. We did go ashore the other 2 stops. Many excursions to choose from, if that is what one wants to do. The only problem we had was with the spa. They didn't have our voucher entered when we boarded and it took 6 days to get it, with many trips to guests services, calls to Royal Caribbean and our agent. After 6 days finally resolved.. The staff at the spa could be more courteous to their clients on the phone, Also make sure they don't double dip for their tip. The woman who gave me my massage finally, was extremely nice. Read Less

This was a family cruise for 9, my wife & myself, our 2 children and their families. We enjoy the time together and the time on our own to do whatever was available to do. There was plenty of things that satisfied all our needs and experiences. The Spa for my wife, the comedy Club was outstanding for all of the adults, both comedians were great, I laughed until I hurt!! The food, drinks and activities were just what we all needed. My grandson had a ball on the Flo-Rider, every chance he got he was riding and the after hours actives for the teens was great and safe. The on shore excursions with the dolphins, tour of San Juan and the Speedboat ride & Snorkeling all had us talking the whole trip about those experiences. Overall we loved the trip and will schedule another trip on the Oasis of the Sea in the years to come. Read Less

Wedding Anniversary number 50. Things were wonderful. The Broadway show "CATS" was wonderful. The Aqua shows during the day time were wonderful. The same aqua show at night was breath taking. The ICE Skating show was fabulous. The costumes in all of the shows including the aqua shows were wonderful and very creative. The dinning experience was everything anyone would imagine and then some. The casino was stocked with ample machines. All of the employees on the Oasis of the Seas were great. The various ports of call are a story of there own. RCI's island resort in Haiti improves every time we go there. We go at least once a year. The improvements and enhancements are amazing. Falmouth, Jamaica, Dunn's Falls is amazing. The beauty and serenity and the challenge of climbing Dunn's Falls are a life time experience. Cozumel, Mexico is a wonderful shopping port. It also has a Senor Pepe Restaurant. We visit this wonderful place every time we visit Cozumel. The only down side is your sides will ache after laughing so hard and so log. This is not a bad thing. The memories you will keep forever. Read Less

My wife and I enjoyed the cruise and are looking forward to the next one. The transportation from ship to shore and shore to ship while visiting our ports of call was well orchestrated and efficient. The entertainment was very professional and heart warming. We saw the ice skating, Come Fly with Me, and the diving show in the aqua theater. I highly recommend all three. Philip, our room attendant, was super and always greeted us with a smile. He took care of all our needs and went beyond the call of duty in taking care of our room. The guest services were always there to assist you in cancellations, shore excursions and show reservations. Upon departure I was extremely impressed with the efficiency of the staff handling our baggage and the speed with which they must have a complete turn around for the next cruise. I believe someone told me they only have 5 hours to complete that process. Very, very efficient! Thank You and staff for a wonder and memorable experience! Read Less

We haven't been on a cruise for over 11 years but always preferred Royal Caribbean. This cruise was a magical experience as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. We also celebrated our 35th Anniversary with Royal Caribbean by taking a back-to-back cruises to Hawaii. The specialty dining package was well worth the price. Fabulous food and excellent service. The entertainment was spectacular as well. We attended the diving show, the ice show, Come Fly With Me and Cats. We also enjoyed other more intimate music venues. The Oasis of the Seas Orchestra is so talented. We were in the company of very special friends who sail frequently and they were our tour guides. We did not purchase any excursions from the ship but truly enjoyed the ports we visited. Our cabin was an outside balcony which we enjoyed. Our Room Stewart (Valencio) was especially attentive and kept our room sparkling clean. The many improvements in the ship design were apparent and appreciated. The embarkation and debarcation processes were extremely efficient and helped to make our entire experience MAGICAL. Read Less

The entertainment staff and the cruise director were good. He was funny and entertaining. We liked the water show the best. The port in San Juan was not that great. Had a wonderful time on the ship. Loved our Bernard's tour in St. Martin. Wish we had a full day in Puerto Rico so we could experience more. Labadee was a full day on their private island. It was hot and miserable. We only stayed an hour in the 98 degree weather and went back to the ship. Next time I will remember not to book the Caribbean in the summer and not to book a cruise that includes Labadee. The cruise staff are very attentive. They helped you out if you had any questions or if you were lost (which I was a few times). The dining room staff were fantastic in every place we ate. The main dining room was superb. Our waiters (Ernesto and Z) were the best. If it wasn't on the menu, they had it for you the next day. I'm not sure if we will sail on such a large ship again (due to our age), but it was the most beautiful ship we have ever been on. I am so glad we got to experience it. My friend choose this cruise. We had been docked next to the Oasis on our last cruise and wanted to experience this big ship. So 3 couples booked too. We were give the VIP treatment from every staff from the cabin steward Maureen to restaurant waiters. I mean everyone treated us that way. The ship was not crowded as we had worried about. Our favorite place was Central Park. Our cabin was mid ship, and very quite. The dinning was very pleasant experience. My time dining American Icon table 136. Ernesto and Zulikili were wonderful. They bent over backwards to please a group of picky eaters. Loved the shows. Being able to make reservations was really helpful, and our group of 8 always got to sit together. We saw Oasis of Dreams, Headliner Showtime, Come fly with me and Frozen in time. Missed Cats due to illness but we found other things to do. Loved all of the shows each one was so different. The theater was just the right size. The ports of call we nice, we had been to some of them before, and enjoyed seeing them again. Wanted to mention the luggage valet. It's wonderful. A hassle free way to disembark. Our boarding passes and luggage tags were ready for us. Our luggage was at our final destination without any problems. Since we used the luggage valet and RCCI transportation to the airport, this was the quickest and easiest disembarkation ever. Read Less

What a wonderful time we just had aboard the Oasis of the Seas. Our cabin was lovely, and kept up so well by our friendly stateroom attendant. The dining choices were many and varied. We are on a budget and the variety of places to eat free was so pleasing. My husband appreciated the coffee available 24 hours a day.The food in the Windjammer Buffet gave so many choices, and all prepared and served so well. Staff everywhere was excellent, always smiling and greeting us. The shows were top-notch! Again variety is the key - from water shows, Headliner, Aerial, Broadway hits, and my favorite - the ice show. They were all so professionally done. We enjoyed exploring the different neighborhoods. Our stateroom was on Deck 8, with Central Park very handy. We spent a lot of time in this relaxing atmosphere. Good music could be heard there in the evening. Boardwalk was great fun, with hot dogs, ice cream, outdoor theater, and of course Johnny Rockets. There was always something to see or do on the Royal Promenade. Beautiful pools, and lots of sports for the younger crowd, from zip-lining, flow rider, rock climbing wall, basketball and miniature golf - to name a few. Great ports of call with shore excursions to please anyone, or easy to enjoy on your own. Good information provided about the shopping at each port. The biggest surprise came when we were disembarking. I dreaded this, as I remembered LONG lines and waits. This was accomplished so quickly and painlessly! I just can't stop raving about this wonderful experience. I certainly hope that we can go again! Read Less

If you want a classy cruise on a very clean ship, this is the one for you. My mom was given the royal treatment and loved it. Now for the clincher - the Spa well exceeded my expectations. Ask for Laverne from the Philippines. I had a bamboo massage first and was so impressed with her that I booked a second service - a seaweed wrap. Laverne, was extremely knowledgable offering tips and stretches for my needs. I have been to many spas and this is my favorite so far! Bravo on a job well done! Happy Cruiser! JCC Read Less

Friends picked this cruise line as Royal Caribbean is the only ship they love. My next trip will be a beautiful balcony or suite cabin located in a nice area of the ship. Central Park was my favorite for a morning stroll, listening to the birds chirp looking at the flowers and just enjoying the atmosphere. The spa was to die for. I had 2 massages, plus the therapy steam room. OH!! what a relaxing experience. If anyone likes that kind of spoiling then they must get at least one massage and the therapy room. I ventured out to the casino and played the slots for 2 evenings. Of course I lost but who cares its a vacation after all. The pools were really crowded but the deck was a nice place to sit and relax. There were many areas on deck to pick from. Remember to get any staff members name just in case you would like to recognize them with something extra at the end of the trip. I didn't and I looked for a gentleman from India and could not locate him anywhere. I really wanted to reward him monetarily. Read Less

The staff, entertainment, our cabin and food were really great. I liked the different neighbor hoods I have always went with RCI because of the adult only swim area, An area you could go and just relax, sit in the shade and read a book, take a nap, sit in whirl pool, take a dip in the nice size pool or lay in the sun to get a tan. On the Oasis the Adult area is all in the sun no shade at at, except in some chairs you couldn't loung in. All the so called swimming pool is not really a swimming pool at all just a place to stand up in and get wet. The so called swimming pool was so small, you would have thought with so many people on the ship like 6200 guest on our cruise, that the pool would be bigger not smaller. As you can tell this area is the most important to me. When it came to eating breakfast or lunch all areas we ate at was more like a mob seen, so crowded people everywhere bumping into one another meal time wassn't a pleasant encounter at all. I most likely won't be cruising on the Oasis class ship again I will have to travel to another port much farther away from our home in order to cruise Freedom, Voyager, Radiance or maybe even Vision Class Ships but Oasis not for me. For the most part we enjoyed the dining and the treatment we received from most of the staff, especially the Servers and those who take care of the rooms.. The Ports of calls were not that exciting as it rained all day in Saint Martens. We enjoyed the entertainment we could get in to view. It takes us three days to figure out how to make reservations to see certain shows and when we do it turns out to be open seating. We are somewhat dissatisfied at the price we paid for an inside cabin and do not feel that the Central Park view Staterooms worth the US$1300 per person cost we paid. We are also displeased that the Royal Caribbean booking agent not give us the AAA, AARP, or Senior Citizen discount that others enjoyed. Kudos to the Activities Director and his Manager were able to follow their morning show with much needful information. Thanks Read Less

Price & accommodations & ports of call were reasons for traveling. Boarding & exiting ship was the easiest we ever had & no problem with customs. Cabins were clean , spacious, the views were phenomenal from our stateroom, the dining staff were excellent & entertaining & anticipated our likes & dislikes. The acoustics for some of the evening shows made it hard to understand what was being said, yet for the most part they were entertaining. Having a major broad-way production on board was one of the amazing shows but left one not to understand the shows' concept/story due to the poor acoustics. The costumes & dancing were great. The Aqua theatre performance with Olympian & professional experienced performers left us in awe.. The adult entertainers also were funny & had a great dialog with the audience. The Ice show also was a very family friendly entertainment Thank you Royal Carribean crew of the Oasis for a memorable experience. Read Less

Royal Caribbean is our favorite cruise line. Being on the Oasis was a pure joy. From the start of boarding to the end of the week we were enjoying all the amenities the ship could offer. I bought the liquor package and it was a good deal. The shows were top notch with entertainment especially the Headline and Aqua shows. The ports were good we had fun touring on our own and learning a little more about each destination. St. Maarten is our favorite spot and we enjoyed our time there but it did rain and we didn't get a chance to go in the ocean. St. Thomas is a very friendly place where liquor and jewlery items are very inexpensive but with high quality. The Oasis was a Hugh ship and it accommodated the 5500+ passengers with no issues. I would recommend this ship to anyone who is a first time cruiser or cruisers who look for fun and travel. We would surely cruise e Oasis again. Read Less

We were traveling with other family members for a leisurely cruise. This was our 4th time on Oasis and it is certainly one of our favorite ships. The entertainment was excellent but the theatre was so cold and loud during the wonderful Cats production, we left at intermission. The Ice Show was wonderful and entertaining. The comedy show was funny and mild by some we have experienced which was a good thing. The Aqua Show, Headliner and Come Fly With Me Production show were all excellent. My only complaint would be the cabin TV shows. Very limited and was disappointed that when you are in your room getting ready for dinner, there is really nothing to watch. It would be nice to be able to catch up on the US daily news at that time. The On Air bar had baseball/basketball games for the men to watch while we had time between dinner and the evening shows. The embarkation went smoothly and we were amazed at the efficiency of debarkation. Really enjoyed our adventure on the Oasis. Loved, loved, loved the ports of call; especially St. Maarten. Loved the Cruise ship, BUT - it is just TOO BIG. There is lots to do on the ship. And its lots of fun, but you just can't do it all. A ship that size is too hard on older people who have problems getting around and other health issues. Me and my husband enjoyed the experience, but have decided that from now on, we will be booking on the smaller ships. If and when Royal Caribbean ditches all of their smaller ships, we'll have to go with another cruise line. The Oasis was just way too much for us to handle. We would loose each other just trying to split up and go the the restrooms. Of course - they are on opposite sides of the ship from one another. We spent more time looking for each other than doing things on the ship we would have liked to have done. We could not wait to get home so we could get some rest. Read Less

For some relaxation and fun in the sun. And to swim with the dolphins, and to shop in the ports. The dolphin swim groups were too large and you were only able to stand there and most of the interaction was with the handler and the dolphin. I thought it to be very expensive to only touch a dolphin, and watch it perform while we stood in water not quite waist deep. I found the handler very bossy and almost rude. I for one would never pay that again. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our cruise experience. The staff was always very helpful especially our dining waiters and our cabin attendant was a wonderful gentleman who loved to surprise us each night with our towel critters.
