Traveled on a seven day cruise starting on October 15, 2017, with the Orange County (NC) Seniors Center group of 32 "Orange Cruisers". Getting on the ship was under 30 minutes. Once n board we dined in the Windjammer buffet, and I must say out of the 15 prior RCCL cruises, the overall food selections and quality was excellent, the servicing by cleaning off the tables was fast. DINING: We dined in one of the main dining rooms, Silk late seating. The section head waiter Ade, was fast to correct seating issue and we were seated at a table for six, #814, with waiter Mary Ann and assistant waiter, Leo who also provided exceptional service. The food section in the MDR has been scaled back however, the was always a choice of seafood, meat, poultry and vegetarian was very good EXCEPT for something called the "beef strip lion" which was tough, and perhaps not USDA choice cut of beef. Do go to the Solarium Bistro for breakfast and lunch it is forward on deck 15 and most of the time not crowded, and has the same basic selections as the Windjammer buffet. We don't do the specialty restaurants, too expensive for what you get. OUR CABIN: Deck 11 outside superior balcony #11538 was spacious for Royal Caribbean, it has two outlets, the standard round shower and plenty of storage space, a sofa, small table and desk. The balcony had two chairs and a regular size table. Our cabin steward, Bailey provided excellent service. SHORE EXCURSIONS: we did one shore excursion, to the Great Hope Plantation in Jamaica and we toured the old plantation house and had a traditional high tea which was excellent for the $53 charge per person. The beach at Labadee, Jamaica was nice but it had a lot of uneven areas and rocks which being older did not try to navigate into the warm Caribbean Sea waters. My wife in our younger days were beach people, but it appears now with it being hard to get in or out of the water we are now "pool people" SHOWS: We saw an ABBA tribute show and "Come Fly with Me" a production show and both were excellent, the Aqua show in the rear of the ship was cancelled due to high winds, so we did not get an opportunity to see it. CASINO ROYALE: The casino had a variety of older and new generation of slot machines, the standard table games, two roulette tables, multiple blackjack tables, two craps tables Two each of Let it Ride, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold em tables and quite frankly they could have had an additional table of each of these games as the tables were general full between 8 pm and midnight with the regular and frequent Casino Royale Players Club guests. Table limits are $5 and up particularly at the blackjack tables. During the cruise in the casino, I did not hear of any "big" slot players jackpots being hit. About the Casino Royale Players Club, it used to be generous in their giving free cabins for players, but not they tightened up those requirements. It used to take 1600 points to quality for an inside cabin, now it is 2400 points: it used to be 2400 points for an ocean view cabin, now it is 3600 points; it used to be 2400 points for a balcony, now its 3600 points. In slots it takes $4 of wagering to earn one point. The table play is based upon the time played, the amount wagered, the amount of money exchanged for chips and your win loss ratio, difficult for a guest to keep track of or calculate. The casino is on deck 4 midship. DISEMBARKMENT: It was a breeze, off the shop at the time scheduled and luggage pick up to ground transportation in less than 45 minutes. TIP: If you have mobility issues, make sure your cabin is in the aft or rear part of ships as that is where the main dining room and Windjammer buffet is location. This awesome vessel is long and if you use a cane, walker, wheelchair or scooter it is a hike to get to the MDR. Read Less

It was a beautiful ship, and the staff worked very hard. I don't like to reserve tickets for each show or stand in line for a hr. hoping to get a seat. I didn't feel enough entertainment was offered if you didn't have a reservation. It's sad that you no longer can have room service without paying extra for each delivery $7.95. Rooms were not bad, the couch looked dirty so I sat on the bed or covered it with a sheet before sitting down. Food was excited, in dining area, and buffet. The Solarium was a beautiful area, the largest we have every seen on a ship. The adult area was 16 and older, would like to see that go to 18 and older, some days the teens would take over one of the large hot tubs, I'm in my 60's and will not go in with a bunch of teens. (It was not that bad though) GOOD CRUISE! Read Less

Had a group of 12 people that wanted to go on a cruise. We got the best deal for our money on the Oasis. We had some first time cruisers and we all had a blast. The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and was quick. The ship was Fantastic, the cabins were great and a good size. The dining room service and food was the best I ever had on any cruise. The specialty restaurants, Chops and 150 central park 5 star!! There were different activities everyday on the ship. Service on the ship was top notch. The ports we went to were great. The new cruiser with us want to go on another Royal Caribbean cruise soon. I already booked one in Dec 2017 and will book another one around March 2018. I know this ship holds a lot of people (5,000 plus) but never had long waits anywhere. The staff very friendly and willing to help when needed. Excellent Job Oasis of the Seas!! Read Less

Chose this cruise because it's in driving distance for us. We drove down on Sat and stayed at the Hampton Inn Ormond/Daytona, which was about an hour away. On Sunday - cruise day - we left the hotel at 9am and were on the ship by 11am. The only issue on that short trip was that when we approached Port Canaveral there were no signs to the ship! We wandered around and finally asked the people directing parking at the Carnival terminal, who kindly sent us back to Oasis. That was just about the only hitch in the trip. We were a group of Senior adults (3 sisters in one room and brother and his wife in another) so we didn't avail ourselves of the zip line, climbing wall, or flow rider. No need to add an emergency room visit to the itinerary! Some in our group prefer an early dinner - which I had never done before - and I was surprised that I really liked it! We chose the My Time Dining (American Icon Dining Room) and made reservations before the trip at 5pm each night. Actually, we had some difficulty using the website for the reservations but I called and customer service set them up for me. The first night we loved the location of our table and our two waiters (D1 and D2) and requested them for the rest of the trip. It felt just like regular dining room seating - same table, same waiters - but at the time we preferred - win win! The food was wonderful. This was my third trip on the Oasis and I don't remember being as impressed by the food previously. In fact, I distinctly remember being unimpressed with the desserts - but not this time! Everything was wonderful! We loved all of the shows - especially CATS. Do not miss the backstage tour! It was very cool to be able to walk on the stage and then tour the dressing room and costume rooms. Plus we got some small group time with actors in CATS and a fascinating discussion from the stage manager and a couple of the technicians - including the guy who in charge of all the rigging that supports the acrobats. Loved it! (It wasn't advertised - just noted as an activity on on of the sea days in the Compass) One of the support divers was ill during the week, so the aqua show was repeatedly cancelled. That was a bit frustrating. We certainly sympathized with the sick diver - wasn't his fault, but it kept being rescheduled and we should work our day around it and show up only to find out it was cancelled again. To add insult to injury, there was a demo performance of some diving and other skills from the show provided to the elite Crown and Anchor members but nothing like that for the people that showed up each night wanting to see the water show. I didn't know why RC didn't start the showtime with a brief announcement about the illness and say, "we invite you to stay for an exhibition of some of the water show components, and hope that we can present the full show later in the week for you". As it turns out, on the last night he was well enough to dive and they did three standing room only seatings of the show, so we did get to see it. All's well that ends well. As for the ports and excursions... I went on the Rainbow Reef Snorkel in Nassau. I chose that so I could spend some time in that beautiful blue water and in that regard, it did not disappoint. However, the water was very rough. There were maybe 40 people on the boat and after about 10 minutes, half of them were back on the boat. Some people got seasick. It was supposed to be an hour of snorkeling but no one lasted that long. I stayed about 45 minutes. The crew was excellent - took good care of us and were always checking to be sure we were managing ok. In Cozumel, we took a taxi to Chakanaab, which I highly recommend! Beautiful beach, great snorkeling, very nice pool with great view of dolphins jumping in the dolphin excursion area, and a great $20 deal which included all the lunch you wanted and all the drinks you wanted. Can't beat that! By the way, there was also plenty of shade, free lockers, and showers. Finally, we enjoyed the day in Costa Maya - and I do mean ENJOYED it. We started with massages at the massage hut, followed that with lunch and margaritas and a short dip in the pool, and then, because we were just exhausted from the day's activities, we went for another massage before returning to the boat :-) (Yep, we're old!) It was a great trip and I would recommend it for great entertainment, a beautiful ship, fabulous food and service, and an overall good time. Read Less

We chose this cruise as a test to see how we liked it. (and to see how my wife handled the motion.) We had a lot of itinerary changes for good reason and the crew handled it with amazing efficiency. The Oasis is a great ship, and we booked the Eastern Caribbean on it for next May. Can't Wait. The dining servers were wonderfully attentive, and remembered us and out favorites. The cabin crews were very friendly and seemed to touch up the room every time we left. Unbelievable ! We missed going to Cozumel, but didn't have a lack of activity, in fact, we still left on board activities to try the next time. I can not actually remember any crew member that wasn't a pleasure to interact with, regardless of venue. I will be waiting with anticipation for our next adventure, and if there are re-routes, we will roll with them and not skip a beat, because the team is that good. Thanks for a lot of hard work Jeffrey Arpin. Read Less

I choose to go on this cruise because I live near the departure port. The ship is huge and crowded. People have to wait in line for most things. Even though I had priority boarding ,it was chaos, as was departure. From the minute we stepped on board it was a continuous sales pitch. The ports were a half mile from the docking. No provision was made to provide shuttle service(even at the guests expense) from the ship to the port.It was extremely hot and humid and a health hazard for some guests to walk that far. I have been on many cruises but this a low point. customer care has turned into cattle call. Royal Caribbean has added a lot of gimmicks but has lowered the civility level. There was very little attempt to provide communication with and to guests. On the positive side the food was good and the food service people were very attentive. Read Less

The hurricane changed our ports of call. I have been to the Bahamas many times and Cozamel as well as Costa Maya. I really wasn't very happy going to these ports again, The crew was great on the ship but we couldn't get in to most of the shows as I was late booking them. I wish there was more to do early in the evening as I can go to bed at ( pm anytime. I'm not a bar person and that seemed to be the only activity at night. I only wish I had been the opportunity to change the cruise so it was one I really could have enjoyed. If I had wanted to go to those ports I would have booked the cruise and paid less for the cruise as those ports were cheaper and I would have been happier. It was sad we weren't at least given the difference in price as a credit for onboard purchases etc. My overall review was a nice ship, great crew members but lousy ports of call as I did not want to go to them Read Less

We scheduled this cruise to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. We enjoyed Specialty dining at 150 Central Park and Chops. The menu at Chops has changed since my last visit and in my opinion it has improved. My wife had the filet and I enjoyed the rib eye. Both were excellent. The cruise was immediately after Hurricane Irma so it was shortened to 4 days and less than 3000 people were on board. The lack of crowds was fantastic. The service everywhere we went was superb and the waiters extremely cordial. Embarkation was easy and stress free. No elevator crunch, do to the low passenger count. Reservations were no problem for anything we wanted to do or see. Disembarkation, using the self assist program, took literally 10 minutes, the length of time it took to walk from the ship to the parking lot. The Captain and crew did a wonderful job making our shortened cruise one of the best ever. Read Less

Ship: Amazing... Central Park, Aqua Theater, Boardwalk all stood out to me! Cabin: Our room was way better than we expected. We were located at the front of the ship and it made for an amazing view at night and early morning. Bigger than we expected so that was definitely a plus. Dining: Food is great. Variety is probably what stands out the most. Definitely purchase a dining package for access to the signature restaurants as they have the best food and the staff is a step above the main dining halls. Even though the main dining hall staff was amazing as well. Entertainment & Activities: A ton of things to do. This is where I would give the only knock on my cruise experience. We wanted a few more night time options that catered to a younger married couple with no kids. Better DJ's would be nice in the nightclub and more dance parties. The first ship we went on did things to get people up and comfortable with each other through conga lines, soul train lines and dance competitions. This one did not. Majority of the night time activities seemed to be catered to older people or families. Service: Top Notch. This is a bigger ship so there is a little drop in service across the entire ship from the smaller ships we've been on. Overall, everyone is polite, friendly and helpful. Bartenders seemed to be the biggest area for improvement from my opinion. Ports & Shore Excursions: There is a lot to choose from so for that reason alone you really couldn't ask for much more. The beach chair and cabana options are pretty pricy, but that's relative to how much you value laying on the beach. Would I do it again? Yes, we've already discussed cruising again. Read Less

The rooms were kept very clean by our steward. We enjoyed the Broadway show "Cats" very much and the comedy entertainment was great. I also enjoyed the fellow who sang Neil Diamond songs. Our family very much enjoyed the Flowriders. It was great to be able to get an ice cream cone whenever we wanted also. The food was excellent and available anytime. There were many excursions that were offered. We enjoyed each one that we went on very much. The Bobsled and Zip line in Jamaica was very exciting. We also enjoyed our trip to Tulum. The guide was great and very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the Mayan culture. I would recommend Royal Caribbean lines to anyone. Read Less

We originally booked this cruise because of RCCL's "Suite Sale". We had no idea that Hurricane Irma was going to give us an "extended vacation". Staff & crew were excellent & the captain made sure we had updates on our itinerary & the storm as he received them. The only problem that we had was from the Excursions Manager. I am a Type 1 Diabetic & have been on multiple cruises in which we booked various excursions. Never have I had a shore excursion cancelled by an excursion guide or an excursion manager because I am a Type 1 diabetic. I was not asked if I am under a doctors care or if I had a medical consult about this activity. My doctor is well aware of my life style & activities and says that the more active a diabetic is the better their health. I also wear a Dexcom Continuous Monitor and a VGO to dispense my insulin. As usual, dining, entertainment, & services were excellent. I'm hoping that this is an isolated case of an Excursion Manager's lack of knowledge & understanding of this disease and not a case of Royal Caribbean discriminating due to health conditions beyond one's control. Ship is huge, beautiful and safe. Cabin very clean and well kept. The attendants were prompt with any service I needed. An elegant 5 star dinning experience in the main dinning room and very accommodating. Wonderful variety of entertainment and activities. The service was prompt and friendly as a whole. Shore excursions were exciting but need to emphasize more on disability access. Even though I didn't travel with children I saw many families and children thoroughly enjoying the activities. This sailing was my 2nd on the Oasis of the Seas and my 16th sailing with Royal Caribbean International. For both sailings on this ship, the experience was pretty great. A noteworthy thing, (mostly for any/all C&A members...) is the embarkation and disembarkation processes. The terminal in Port Canaveral was well manned, organized, and prepared for a massing of this many people. (One day to handle almost 13,000 people is a difficult endeavor!) The process was very smooth and we, as a party of 6, were able to go from arriving at the port to stepping foot on the ship in app. 30 minutes. Give or take a bit of time because we are able to use the Diamond Line for embarkation. The disembarkation process was equally as smooth and steady! We had Group 9 for the luggage tags and we were able to disembark around 8:05am. For the majority of our time on the ship, the services, entertainment, dining, and cabins were exemplary. We had 3 Superior Ocean View Balcony Cabins, and everything was fantastic! The cabin size can *comfortably* fit around 3-4 people. While this definitely can vary for most people, it was not a problem for us. The attendant we had was also extremely helpful and punctual. He, like most of the crew onboard, was a pleasant and efficient guy! The rooms were always kept exceptional and there wasn't ever a problem with cleanliness or hygiene. The dining options on the Oasis are high quality and plentiful. With a number of specialty restaurants and a healthy dose of complimentary as well, you're bound to find something for any/all cravings! While this trip we only ate at one specialty restaurant, Chops Grille, the complimentary locations are still extremely high quality. Chops Grille continues to be one of my favorite venues to spend a little extra money and splurge. While it was definitely brought down by slow service and over-crowding, the food quality was exceptional. We did have to wait longer than it should take for 2, waiting around 20 minutes past reservation time for a table, but it was still worth the wait. The starters are absolutely phenomenal (Both my fiance and I highly recommend the Goat Cheese Salad) and the entrees are just the same. The dessert menu was a little underwhelming, but the options are still solid. All in all, the experience is worth the price of admission. The final two things I want to touch on in this small review is the entertainment (crowding...) and the ports of call/excursions. We had three sea days in our itinerary and normally, that would mean a lot of activities could be completed. However, this is where the one fault, in my opinion, of the Oasis falls. The crowding of any/all entertainment venues during a sea day is immense. While this is logical (6.5k people after all...), it gets a bit tedious and annoying to surf through waves after waves of people just to get to lunch, all while the doors are locked open letting the Caribbean heat tear through any hope of cooling down! Anyway, the crowding on the ship during sea days is a detriment. The activities on this ship are really enjoyable, when you manage to get to them. The Ports of Call we visited were St. Maarten, San Juan, and Labadee. We visited Maho Beach in St. Maarten, also known as the Airplane Beach! This is our third trip to Maho, and it is still as exhilarating as ever when an Airbus flies 20 feet above your head! The weather was overcast and we experienced a small amount of rain. The Sunset Bar and Grill adjacent to Maho is an awesome place with great bar options and a quality menu. This stop is definitely worth the $8 taxi ride per person (one way). Just don't miss the ship! (Tip: Leave about an hour or more for the return to the ship.) Our second Port of Call was San Juan. My fiance and I had the Rainforest Drive Excursion planned for this stop. However, after we were force to get up at 6 A.M and forced to walk off the pier in the middle of thunderstorm, getting our belongings and selves soaking wet, they canceled it just before we stepped foot on the bus. The lack of communication between the Excursion team and the locals was definitely a major setback of this port. While things probably would have been perfectly smooth if the weather decided to hold up, the fact that a lack of communication inhibited our morning was disappointing! Labadee is exactly what it should be, a nice beach stay with a beautiful sand and clear blue water. We had a cabana at Nellies Beach and it was definitely worth the $400 price tag. While it is expensive, the views and shade especially were incredible. All in all, it was a fantastic voyage and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes a plethora of activities and doesn't mind the occasional crowd of people. Oasis of the Seas gets a 4/5! Read Less

I did not do any excursions felt a little pricy. Since I am a bowler, it would have nice to see a Bowling lane. The staff was great and funny to be around. They were very helpful if you got lost. The shows were good. Was glad to see adult versions and family versions of the commedians. Lots of family oriented activities. When I go on my next cruise, which I definitely will do, I will make sure both grandkids are over 21 to enjoy all the drinking they want and not to have to worry about driving anywhere. From beginning to end this cruise was extraordinary. We are from the Port Canaveral area so embarkation was not a problem. From start to finish I believe it took maybe 30 minutes, longest time was waiting to go through security, being prepared is key. Disembarkation was the same, painless and took very little time, again the key is being prepared with all your paperwork. The ship was amazing, beautifully kept and did I say AMAZING! So much to see I know we didn't see it all. Our cabin was emaculate and our cabin attendant Maria was exemplary. Always on top of things and more than willing to please. Can't say enough about her, she was superb! We had reservation for My Time Dining, and after reading some reviews from previous cruiser had a little trepidation about the experience. All put to rest from the time we gave our cabin number to the time we sat and had something at the table. Total time, perhaps 10 minutes or less. Our server Iputu was the best and his smile, infectious. Always asking if things were good or if he could bring us something else. Never ceased to have plenty of food in front of us, which was delicious and more if we desired. Coffee cup and water glass always full and at the ready. Celebrated our son's 21st birthday and it was everything we hoped and more. The entertainment in the dining room had everyone on their feet. The main Chef absolutely stole the show! The entertainment was over the top and enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the crew. It didn't matter where we planted ourselves the service was pretty awesome. Wasn't too sure about Sorrento's but once I had a bite of their pizza and stromboli, well I was hooked, not to mention they also have a bar. Although no definite plans were made for St. Maarten, with the help of one of the vendors we ended up in van and on our way to Maho Beach beautiful beach and worth the trip) for just a couple of dollars and we got to tour the city at the same time. In Puerto Rico the same deal. Asking one of the Police Officers in my native language where the Fort was, he was more than happy to steer us in the direction of the Trolley, which was free and again an excellent tour of the city and an amazing, on our own tour of such a historical place.Highly recommended. I know we spent a couple of hours there and only left because we were in search of some Mofongo which we found at El Balcon del Moreno. Excellent authentic cuisine for a great price. Only drawback is that it's not a long enough stay there. The only place we had an excursion booked was in Labadee. We booked the Traditonal Labadee excursion and believe me, if you want history this is it. A boat ride away to one of their islands and you are deep in it! What an experience! They definitely put on a show for you. My son was enthralled, never pulling out his phone for pictures and thanked me afterwards for such a historical experience, did I mention he's 21! Not a bad price either, booked thru Royal and worth every penny. We took something away from every Port of Call and left us wanting for more especially in Puerto Rico. Great things happen when you least expect it. Although we don't have young children, I did have the opportunity to walk by the Children's Club. Something for every age. My daughter has 2 young boys and I couldn't help but think how much they would love this. The pool set up for the young cruisers is to be envied. Didn't see anything I wouldn't recommend for those traveling with young children. To say that we would definitely go back is an understatement! Already thinking of our next cruise since we have what my son calls PCD (Post Cruise Depression). My husband, son and I can't wait for our next experience with Royal Caribbean. Our first long cruise, previously done Enchantment for a short cruise, and our first balcony experience, never going back to Oceanview. We take away great memories of great experiences on a great ship, Oasis of the Seas! Read Less

My only comment is that I hope you have more place to dance. We chose this cruise after sailing over 15 times on Disney, because of the cost. We are so glad we did. The experience was amazing. We booked a Jr. Suite and getting on and off the ship was great. 20 minutes from car to ship to get on and 25 minutes to get off. great!!! The ship was awesome from the amenities to the staff to the activities to the appearance of the ship. Even though we had a full cruise with over 6,000 people it only felt crowded once at lunch the 2nd day. The food both in the main dining room and the specialty restaurants was exceptional in both quality and portion size. The shows that we attended were of a very high caliber. Although we didn't care for CATS the performers were outstanding. The same goes for the Ice Show and the Aqua show. Finally the activities on board gave you something to do every minute of the day of you choose to. We will be returning in the future. Read Less

Even though you are sailing with 6000 people, it never felt like it. Service was friendly and efficient. Lines at elevators were few. I am always amazed by that! There are so many wonderful settings on the ship to just relax and listen to both live and recorded music. The Central Park area is lovely and unexpected on a ship. We love this ship so much we seldom get off at the familiar ports and just stay on and enjoy having the hot tubs and decks to ourselves. And then there is the food. I must admit, I do not go to the paid restaurants. There is so much good stuff available that is included, I never find the time or the desire! We have cruised many RC ships and the Oasis and the Allure are our favorites. Recently did the Anthem and it is third in our rankings. I am sure for the younger set it would rank first. We are senior citizens. I stay Loyal to Royal and never regret it. Read Less

We chose this because of the location of the port as well as the time of year. We booked it in May for a July sailing. We also wanted to go out of a port close to home, which is Port Canaveral about half an hour from my house. I've only sailed on short sailings with Royal Caribbean, and I have never been on a mega ship such as this one. Overall the experience was pleasant, and enjoyable. Although they were almost 6500 people on board, It did not feel crowded. Even at the pool deck it is not crowded and we were able to find chairs if you wanted. The solarium is great for adults only. The biggest crowd was when we were getting on the ship. Although the dinners on the ship we're good to excellent, breakfast was left much to be desired. Unlike many other boats that I have been on, they did not have anyone making fresh omelettes, pancakes, or anything else it was all coming from the galley premade. We had a large interior state room on deck six by the spa, it was very comfortable and quiet. It was however on the opposite side of the ship from the main dining room. The size of the room was adequate, however the regular interior rooms are much smaller by about 35 feet, and I feel that would be very small. The shower stalls are very very small, i usually showered with the doors open. They do not provide more than a bar soap, and generic shampoo conditioner. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioners The ship has interior balcony rooms overlooking various sections such as Central Park, and the boardwalk. A couple of people I spoke with who had those rooms said it was a waste of money. You felt like you were on display if you were on your balcony, and you had to make sure your blinds were shut tight if not others were able to look in the room. We did the first night done right, and we're at the park grill, which was wonderful. We had attempted to purchase a an additional three night dinner package but were unable to get reservations at the places we wanted other than 5 PM or 9:30 PM. So we canceled the package. We did eat two nights at the solarium bistro which I highly do recommend. The shows were OK, couple of them were just not my cup of tea, such as the ice-skating and water show. Cats was beautiful, but we have had a hard time getting into the storyline so we did leave early. If you do book on the cruise, make sure you do your reservations, there were many people who were unable to get into various shows or restaurants because they did not make prior reservations. We chose this trip because of previous experiences with Royale Caribbean. From the time we got processed and into our cabin we were then in a fun "shock and awe" in this magnificent floating city. I was pleased to see how the challenged were able to get around the ship and participate in many activities. The shore visits were a part of our cruise holiday. The staff were very friendly and took time to chat with us even though they were busy. The sections of the Cruise ship had different moods. The Chop House was the best steak I have ever had and I have travelled to over 40 countries around the world. The 24 hour cleaning and maintenance by the housekeeping staff did not interrupt our activities. Nothing was difficult for dining staff. If you did not have a spoon for your yogurt "Yes Sir I will get it right away." Read Less

Oasis of the Seas is a Cruise for all age groups, it has good food and entertainment service is excettional by the staff, there is never a dull moment on the ship always something to keep yourself occupied by participating doing swimming in the pool or soaking in hot tubs, zip lineing, flow riding, mini golf, table tennis, basketball, soccer and shopping on board . My grand children age 11 and 13 who accompanied us first time on this cruise had a great time and are looking forward to have again with their parents in future. They had their favorite waiter Manoj and his assistant Benny every time we went for formal dining, it was something very unusual for us to see how much the staff on RCC are trained to be very accommodative to all the guests. Food on the ship was amazing and had lots of varieties in alacarte and for buffets. We recommend this cruise to all our family and freinds, you will have no regrets. Read Less

Our family is fortunate because we reside only 30-minutes from Port Canaveral. A few years ago, we realized that we were missing-out on benefits by sailing on multiple cruise lines. Our family realized that we enjoyed the PASSENGERS on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, in addition to the ships, itinerary, food and entertainment. We are now all Diamond-Plus Members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society. This is our second cruise aboard the Oasis of the Seas since she replaced the Freedom of the Seas in November 2016. Stateroom: We stayed in a marvelous Grand Suite in deck 11 near the Diamond Lounge. The room size is 371 sq. ft. with a 105 sq. ft. balcony. Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge: We were interested in experiencing the additional benefits of Grand Suites and above (Sky Class) by having breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Coastal Kitchen and drinks in the Suite Lounge next door. Service is superb and quality of the food excels many of the specialty restaurants. Select beer, wine and champagne is available from 11:30 am until 11:00 pm. Mixed drinks are available from 4:30pm until 8:00pm each night. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Coastal Kitchen is even open for breakfast on debarkation morning. Reservations are required for dinner, so I recommend making your reservations early when you come on board before the most popular times are taken. Entertainment: We made reservation for the spectacular entertainment well before boarding the ship. Oasis can’t have 6,500 passengers attending the same show at the same time each night. We reserved Frozen in Time, Oasis of Dreams, the Headliner Showtime, and Come Fly with Me. Sky Class guests get reserved seating at each theater. Shore Excursions: Our only shore excursion was on Labadee’s Barefoot Beach for Sky Class guests and cabana rentals. We received an upscale lunch and a terrific day at a tropical beach. An additional Grand Suite perk was that a separate golf cart type transportation was available (which is nice if the weather is hot or guests have trouble walking). The pick-up spot is just past the information booth and there is an attendant with a walkie-talkie to call the driver. This is not the same service as the other regular guest pick-up carts (which don’t stop at Barefoot Beach). Debarkation: The Concierge service escorted Sky Suites and above off the ship with no queuing. It just took our family 8-minutes, 41-seconds from the time we left the Champagne Bar, departed the ship, picked-up our luggage, completed the Customs check and exited Cruise Terminal 1 to our car. Excellent cruise for all types of people. The crew was excellent and the food was outstanding! This was just what the doctor ordered for my husband and I. Sun , fun, and relaxation. Th adult solarium is a great place to mingle, eat, sun bathe, and cuddle with your partner. We had lunch and dinner in the Bistro and the food was delicious. In fact we prefer the Bistro over the formal dining room for a more intimate experience. Central Park is our favorite place. We were regulars at the Park Cafe and Rising Tides Bar! The Boardwalk was good too! Overall the ship had lots of nice places to eat that did not cost extra and the drink package is a must! Read Less
