Been on about ten cruises, mainly RCCL. Embarkation, noonish, was efficient, with just a couple brief stops in a smoothly-proceeding stroll. A beautiful ship that seldom feels crowded. Although not preferred, cabin was serviced twice daily, with requested ice unfailing delivered twice-a-day. Attended in a thorough, cheerful manner by SEAN007. Fun, attentive guy. Starboard Aft, 7702. Dining was a hugely anticipated activity and did not disappoint. Most alternative dining options were explored, including lunch at Park Cafe (maybe 4 visits), Windjammer (a couple breakfasts, a lunch or two), lunch and dinner once apiece in Solarium Bistro (skip lunch, just another small buffet), dinner at Sabor (much better than anticipated and under-visited), Giovanni's for dinner (absolutely stellar with string duo playing nearby, wonderful food, and hands-down best service from WILLIAM). Only visited MDR twice for breakfast and three times for dinner. Very acceptable quality food presented by a gracious dining staff. Special kudos to DAN and BEN. Always have dined at 8:30 and signed up for that, to be informed, after boarding, that 7:30 was the correct time. That information would have been appreciated when I was booking activity/show times. Chops for lunch at 1:30 consisted of a perfectly-prepared hunk of meat presented in a diffident manner by a fellow who seemed anxious for us to be gone--understandable, as 1:30 is the latest lunch is served. After scouring pre-boarding reviews about discontinuance of wine packages, I nevertheless asked several of staff if it was available. It wasn't until Thursday in Vintages that I discovered a placard advertising 3- and 5-bottle packages! This is after I had an interaction with the supercilious manager of American Icon, who assured me the wine program had been eliminated. I trundled back up-deck and acquired said package. I showed the purchased punchcard to said manager, who informed that that was not a wine package. Not only that, he stated that he thought I meant the "old" wine package when I insisted the availability of a punchcard was all the evidence I required that there indeed was a wine program. He then conceded that it might be a wine package, but it wasn't really because it was sponsored by a wine distributor. I insisted, once again, that he agree with me that it was a package. He begrudgingly did. I've been in most aspects of food service for around fifty years, and have never been argued with in a restaurant setting, much less on RCCL. All this to say, one may get a package (we opted for the 3-bottle) of serviceable Italian wine! Please be sure to inquire of the manager of American Icon about non-packaged package. I'd love to learn of his response. Shows were a pleasant diversion. Cats is too long for a cruise. We weren't able to attend any of the comedy shows in the limited seating venue. Did the perfunctory walk-through of tourist shops in each port, not much else as I was hampered by a foot injury. Overall, a wonderful experience we'd do again. Read Less

Oasis of the Seas Dec, 2017 Always being intimidated with the size and scores of people on the “mega ship,” after careful consideration and reading countless reviews, we made the plunge and booked our cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. This being our 27 the cruise, over the years we have become accustom to certain expectations within the cruise industry so Oasis of the Seas was being held to an experienced cruisers standard. That being said I won’t bore you with every detail and will only covers the points most cruisers new and experienced may be concerned with. First let me say after reading many reviews, I’m amazed at the some of the ridiculous criticisms stated by many. Simply put, as in life, if one intentionally looks for things to criticize, rest assured, they will find something to complain about. On the other hand, if one chooses to focus on the positive things, life can and will be much better place for everyone and perhaps most importantly the complainer. Oasis of the Seas, like any other ship, has issues and can always improve but overall it is an amazing ship and cruise. Embarkation: Flawless! We arrived at the port at 11:00 and were eating in the Windjammer café by 11:40. I have read many reviews that stated not to waist time looking for a seat in the Windjammer due to over crowding; nonsense! We never had to wait for a table at the Windjammer the whole cruise. There was plenty of seating, never a wait, and always great service. Food was above average but not excellent. One neat thing was everyday they had a new meat at the carving station. (Prime Rib, Pork Loin, Turkey) Ports: Labadee, Jamaica and Cozumel 4 at sea days: Ports were good but we have been there so many times we could offer our own tour service. For the experienced cruisers, island days offer an empty ship with some very good deals on services that you may want to take advantage of. Ship: Spotless, well maintained! Never, ever felt like it was crowded even though there were over 6 thousand passengers aboard. A Couple of times the shopping area was congested but never any worse than any other cruise we have taken. Room: Mid Ship Balcony, 9th floor. Very spacious with more storage than any other ship we have sailed. Cabin steward was excellent, kept room spotless and always polite and out of site. Made sure we tipped him well! Ship Staff: Excellent. Many reviews said Oasis was understaffed and often staff was unfriendly. Absolutely untrue! The staff was very friendly and always willing to help and go the extra mile. They were every-where, yet they stayed in their own lane and never interfered unless summoned. On the other hand, as often as they attempted to help guests, many times I was ashamed of how the guest treated them. Being in the customer service industry for many years it always amazes me how rude and self-centered customers can really be. Often guests would treat cruise staff with disrespect and at times even contempt. This was really noticeable by the Panicle Class passengers who may believe they own the ship and could treat cruise staff and passengers anyway they wanted. Just a note here, they’re not the only ones who paid money for there cruise. One could easily arrive at the conclusion these may be the people who are writing the majority of critical reviews of the Oasis. Again, anyone can find fault with anything if you look hard enough, and Oasis of the Seas is no exception. Ship Activities: Many. There was always something going on aboard the Oasis. You could get as involved or uninvolved as your personal cruising style determined. Cruise Director: Average. With 6,000 passengers aboard the Oasis, one can only imagine how pulled the Cruise Director can be. That being said, I think they could actually use two directors on this size ship. Regardless he did well. Specialty Dining: Excellent! Should you choose a cruise of the Oasis, you must make a reservation at Giovanni’s Table. Believe me you won’t regret it, unbelievable! Specialty Dining Pricing: On the high side but still competitive with other cruise lines. While the prices may be considered a bit high, the service and quality of the food are worth it. After all you are on vacation, treat yourself if you can afford it. Main Dinning Restaurant: Very good! One could easily eat here for the whole cruise and be completely satisfied while saving a bunch of money. Quality of Food and service was very good and really nice to have your waiter call you by name and have your beverage of choice waiting for you when you get there. Bar Service: Great! Read many critical reviews complaining about lack of bar service. While we are not extreme drinkers, the wife and I have a history of getting one drink from every bar on the ship. This cruise was no different, we hit every bar (and there are many) and we never had to wait for more then 5 minutes for service and less than 3 minutes for our drink, with understandable exception of the pool or Solarium. Drink quality was very good. Tip: on day three, Oasis offers a 10-drink package for $80.00, excellent savings as typical mixed drinks go for $13.00-$15.00 per drink. Entertainment: Very Good. Was not impressed with Cats, but shows are subjective to ones personal preferences. Comedians were very good, just be a bit cautious with underage children, and language can be a bit forward. Bands were really good. DE-embarkation: Perfect, flawless. We choose to walk off the ship rather than waiting for our assigned departure time. We arrived at the de-embarkation point (Main Lobby) at 5:45 A.M. (make sure you get there early as 600 people choose this option making for quite a line). Despite the line, it was the smoothest of any ship we were on. Simply put Oasis has got this right! We were back at our hotel and on the road home by 7:10 a.m. As I shared from the beginning, the wife and I were very apprehensive a sailing on a mega ship with over 6,000 passengers. Now on the other side, I am sold out on the Oasis of the Seas. It never felt crowded or congested, in fact, we have sailed on many smaller RCCL ships with fewer passengers that felt much more crowded than the Oasis. My wife and I are looking forward to sailing on RCCL Oasis class ships again. I know if you give it a chance you also will be very pleasantly surprised! Read Less

We had been on 2 transatlantic cruises on Oasis of the Seas, and we wanted our friends to experience it, so 4 of us booked this cruise. The ship is so big and has so much going on, that there is surely something to please everyone. When you first get on, familiarize yourself with the "neighborhoods." Each has a different "feel" to it, so if one doesn't suit your mood, there is a different one that will. Read the list of events for each day. BTW, book you shows online as soon as your booking is confirmed. If you wait until you get onboard, they will be mostly all booked up. The ice show is especially popular, it's the best. The others can be seen on standby, usually, but bad seats. Also, "My time" dining is just like a restaurant, long wait in line at popular times. Having a fixed time and table is better and more cruise-like. At Labadee, we did not go ashore, but our companions did, and the loved it. All of the personnel were friendly, cheerful and super-helpful. Getting on and off was well-managed and easy. Read Less

10 friends plus myself decided on this cruise to experience the Oasis class of ship. Having sailed on smaller ships in the past, we wanted to try this particular class. While the ship was at capacity according to the captain, the only time it felt overcroweded was after a show, when returning from an excursion or partis on the Prominade Deck. Ship could use additional elevators which apparently weren't in the building plan, long walk from one end of the ship to the other. Luckily I had my fitbit, clocked in at over 22,000 steps in one day without using the walking/jogging deck. Most people were courteous, but as usual, there are some that feel entitled. Generally, most people are polite. Since it was a cruise during the school year, there were more seniors in wheel chairs and walkers, and scooters trying to get around. All in all a Great Cruise Read Less

The Oasis line has many neighborhoods to enjoy. Large ship. Food service was excellent. I love that the ship is large enough to house over 5K guests. And could not belive that in 20 mins I was off the boat on discharge day. Their disembarkment system is brillint. There we two couples - two wheelchairs - all seniors. Loved the fine dining exeperience, the shows, the dancing, the sales, and most of all we loved the ports. Labadee and Cozumel were perfection and what we all come to love about crusing. Also, and this was a biggie for me. The lady that handed out hand santitizer just before entering the dining room. Truly a thoughtful care for their customers. And the Windjammer's international food selection. Every night I could eat around the world. How very thoughtful. I will definitely be back to this boat. Cant go wrong for the money. Read Less

Had a group of 12 people that wanted to go on a cruise. We got the best deal for our money on the Oasis. We had some first time cruisers and we all had a blast. The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and was quick. The ship was Fantastic, the cabins were great and a good size. The dining room service and food was the best I ever had on any cruise. The specialty restaurants, Chops and 150 central park 5 star!! There were different activities everyday on the ship. Service on the ship was top notch. The ports we went to were great. The new cruiser with us want to go on another Royal Caribbean cruise soon. I already booked one in Dec 2017 and will book another one around March 2018. I know this ship holds a lot of people (5,000 plus) but never had long waits anywhere. The staff very friendly and willing to help when needed. Excellent Job Oasis of the Seas!! Read Less

Chose this cruise because it's in driving distance for us. We drove down on Sat and stayed at the Hampton Inn Ormond/Daytona, which was about an hour away. On Sunday - cruise day - we left the hotel at 9am and were on the ship by 11am. The only issue on that short trip was that when we approached Port Canaveral there were no signs to the ship! We wandered around and finally asked the people directing parking at the Carnival terminal, who kindly sent us back to Oasis. That was just about the only hitch in the trip. We were a group of Senior adults (3 sisters in one room and brother and his wife in another) so we didn't avail ourselves of the zip line, climbing wall, or flow rider. No need to add an emergency room visit to the itinerary! Some in our group prefer an early dinner - which I had never done before - and I was surprised that I really liked it! We chose the My Time Dining (American Icon Dining Room) and made reservations before the trip at 5pm each night. Actually, we had some difficulty using the website for the reservations but I called and customer service set them up for me. The first night we loved the location of our table and our two waiters (D1 and D2) and requested them for the rest of the trip. It felt just like regular dining room seating - same table, same waiters - but at the time we preferred - win win! The food was wonderful. This was my third trip on the Oasis and I don't remember being as impressed by the food previously. In fact, I distinctly remember being unimpressed with the desserts - but not this time! Everything was wonderful! We loved all of the shows - especially CATS. Do not miss the backstage tour! It was very cool to be able to walk on the stage and then tour the dressing room and costume rooms. Plus we got some small group time with actors in CATS and a fascinating discussion from the stage manager and a couple of the technicians - including the guy who in charge of all the rigging that supports the acrobats. Loved it! (It wasn't advertised - just noted as an activity on on of the sea days in the Compass) One of the support divers was ill during the week, so the aqua show was repeatedly cancelled. That was a bit frustrating. We certainly sympathized with the sick diver - wasn't his fault, but it kept being rescheduled and we should work our day around it and show up only to find out it was cancelled again. To add insult to injury, there was a demo performance of some diving and other skills from the show provided to the elite Crown and Anchor members but nothing like that for the people that showed up each night wanting to see the water show. I didn't know why RC didn't start the showtime with a brief announcement about the illness and say, "we invite you to stay for an exhibition of some of the water show components, and hope that we can present the full show later in the week for you". As it turns out, on the last night he was well enough to dive and they did three standing room only seatings of the show, so we did get to see it. All's well that ends well. As for the ports and excursions... I went on the Rainbow Reef Snorkel in Nassau. I chose that so I could spend some time in that beautiful blue water and in that regard, it did not disappoint. However, the water was very rough. There were maybe 40 people on the boat and after about 10 minutes, half of them were back on the boat. Some people got seasick. It was supposed to be an hour of snorkeling but no one lasted that long. I stayed about 45 minutes. The crew was excellent - took good care of us and were always checking to be sure we were managing ok. In Cozumel, we took a taxi to Chakanaab, which I highly recommend! Beautiful beach, great snorkeling, very nice pool with great view of dolphins jumping in the dolphin excursion area, and a great $20 deal which included all the lunch you wanted and all the drinks you wanted. Can't beat that! By the way, there was also plenty of shade, free lockers, and showers. Finally, we enjoyed the day in Costa Maya - and I do mean ENJOYED it. We started with massages at the massage hut, followed that with lunch and margaritas and a short dip in the pool, and then, because we were just exhausted from the day's activities, we went for another massage before returning to the boat :-) (Yep, we're old!) It was a great trip and I would recommend it for great entertainment, a beautiful ship, fabulous food and service, and an overall good time. Read Less

We chose this cruise as a test to see how we liked it. (and to see how my wife handled the motion.) We had a lot of itinerary changes for good reason and the crew handled it with amazing efficiency. The Oasis is a great ship, and we booked the Eastern Caribbean on it for next May. Can't Wait. The dining servers were wonderfully attentive, and remembered us and out favorites. The cabin crews were very friendly and seemed to touch up the room every time we left. Unbelievable ! We missed going to Cozumel, but didn't have a lack of activity, in fact, we still left on board activities to try the next time. I can not actually remember any crew member that wasn't a pleasure to interact with, regardless of venue. I will be waiting with anticipation for our next adventure, and if there are re-routes, we will roll with them and not skip a beat, because the team is that good. We scheduled this cruise to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. We enjoyed Specialty dining at 150 Central Park and Chops. The menu at Chops has changed since my last visit and in my opinion it has improved. My wife had the filet and I enjoyed the rib eye. Both were excellent. The cruise was immediately after Hurricane Irma so it was shortened to 4 days and less than 3000 people were on board. The lack of crowds was fantastic. The service everywhere we went was superb and the waiters extremely cordial. Embarkation was easy and stress free. No elevator crunch, do to the low passenger count. Reservations were no problem for anything we wanted to do or see. Disembarkation, using the self assist program, took literally 10 minutes, the length of time it took to walk from the ship to the parking lot. The Captain and crew did a wonderful job making our shortened cruise one of the best ever. Read Less

Ship: Amazing... Central Park, Aqua Theater, Boardwalk all stood out to me! Cabin: Our room was way better than we expected. We were located at the front of the ship and it made for an amazing view at night and early morning. Bigger than we expected so that was definitely a plus. Dining: Food is great. Variety is probably what stands out the most. Definitely purchase a dining package for access to the signature restaurants as they have the best food and the staff is a step above the main dining halls. Even though the main dining hall staff was amazing as well. Entertainment & Activities: A ton of things to do. This is where I would give the only knock on my cruise experience. We wanted a few more night time options that catered to a younger married couple with no kids. Better DJ's would be nice in the nightclub and more dance parties. The first ship we went on did things to get people up and comfortable with each other through conga lines, soul train lines and dance competitions. This one did not. Majority of the night time activities seemed to be catered to older people or families. Service: Top Notch. This is a bigger ship so there is a little drop in service across the entire ship from the smaller ships we've been on. Overall, everyone is polite, friendly and helpful. Bartenders seemed to be the biggest area for improvement from my opinion. Ports & Shore Excursions: There is a lot to choose from so for that reason alone you really couldn't ask for much more. The beach chair and cabana options are pretty pricy, but that's relative to how much you value laying on the beach. Would I do it again? Yes, we've already discussed cruising again. Read Less

The rooms were kept very clean by our steward. We enjoyed the Broadway show "Cats" very much and the comedy entertainment was great. I also enjoyed the fellow who sang Neil Diamond songs. Our family very much enjoyed the Flowriders. It was great to be able to get an ice cream cone whenever we wanted also. The food was excellent and available anytime. There were many excursions that were offered. We enjoyed each one that we went on very much. The Bobsled and Zip line in Jamaica was very exciting. We also enjoyed our trip to Tulum. We originally booked this cruise because of RCCL's "Suite Sale". We had no idea that Hurricane Irma was going to give us an "extended vacation". Staff & crew were excellent & the captain made sure we had updates on our itinerary & the storm as he received them. The only problem that we had was from the Excursions Manager. I am a Type 1 Diabetic & have been on multiple cruises in which we booked various excursions. Never have I had a shore excursion cancelled by an excursion guide or an excursion manager because I am a Type 1 diabetic. I was not asked if I am under a doctors care or if I had a medical consult about this activity. My doctor is well aware of my life style & activities and says that the more active a diabetic is the better their health. I also wear a Dexcom Continuous Monitor and a VGO to dispense my insulin. As usual, dining, entertainment, & services were excellent. I'm hoping that this is an isolated case of an Excursion Manager's lack of knowledge & understanding of this disease and not a case of Royal Caribbean discriminating due to health conditions beyond one's control. An elegant 5 star dinning experience in the main dinning room and very accommodating. Wonderful variety of entertainment and activities. The service was prompt and friendly as a whole. Shore excursions were exciting but need to emphasize more on disability access. Even though I didn't travel with children I saw many families and children thoroughly enjoying the activities. When I go on my next cruise, which I definitely will do, I will make sure both grandkids are over 21 to enjoy all the drinking they want and not to have to worry about driving anywhere. From beginning to end this cruise was extraordinary. We are from the Port Canaveral area so embarkation was not a problem. From start to finish I believe it took maybe 30 minutes, longest time was waiting to go through security, being prepared is key. Disembarkation was the same, painless and took very little time, again the key is being prepared with all your paperwork. The ship was amazing, beautifully kept and did I say AMAZING! So much to see I know we didn't see it all. Our cabin was emaculate and our cabin attendant Maria was exemplary. Always on top of things and more than willing to please. Can't say enough about her, she was superb! We had reservation for My Time Dining, and after reading some reviews from previous cruiser had a little trepidation about the experience. All put to rest from the time we gave our cabin number to the time we sat and had something at the table. Total time, perhaps 10 minutes or less. Our server Iputu was the best and his smile, infectious. Always asking if things were good or if he could bring us something else. Never ceased to have plenty of food in front of us, which was delicious and more if we desired. Coffee cup and water glass always full and at the ready. Celebrated our son's 21st birthday and it was everything we hoped and more. The entertainment in the dining room had everyone on their feet. The main Chef absolutely stole the show! The entertainment was over the top and enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the crew. It didn't matter where we planted ourselves the service was pretty awesome. Wasn't too sure about Sorrento's but once I had a bite of their pizza and stromboli, well I was hooked, not to mention they also have a bar. Although no definite plans were made for St. Maarten, with the help of one of the vendors we ended up in van and on our way to Maho Beach beautiful beach and worth the trip) for just a couple of dollars and we got to tour the city at the same time. In Puerto Rico the same deal. Asking one of the Police Officers in my native language where the Fort was, he was more than happy to steer us in the direction of the Trolley, which was free and again an excellent tour of the city and an amazing, on our own tour of such a historical place.Highly recommended. I know we spent a couple of hours there and only left because we were in search of some Mofongo which we found at El Balcon del Moreno. Excellent authentic cuisine for a great price. Only drawback is that it's not a long enough stay there. The only place we had an excursion booked was in Labadee. We booked the Traditonal Labadee excursion and believe me, if you want history this is it. A boat ride away to one of their islands and you are deep in it! What an experience! They definitely put on a show for you. My son was enthralled, never pulling out his phone for pictures and thanked me afterwards for such a historical experience, did I mention he's 21! Not a bad price either, booked thru Royal and worth every penny. We took something away from every Port of Call and left us wanting for more especially in Puerto Rico. Great things happen when you least expect it. Although we don't have young children, I did have the opportunity to walk by the Children's Club. Something for every age. My daughter has 2 young boys and I couldn't help but think how much they would love this. The pool set up for the young cruisers is to be envied. Didn't see anything I wouldn't recommend for those traveling with young children. To say that we would definitely go back is an understatement! Already thinking of our next cruise since we have what my son calls PCD (Post Cruise Depression). My husband, son and I can't wait for our next experience with Royal Caribbean. Our first long cruise, previously done Enchantment for a short cruise, and our first balcony experience, never going back to Oceanview. We take away great memories of great experiences on a great ship, Oasis of the Seas! Read Less

We also enjoyed the pool and the whirlpool spa. I love the art words everywhere. We just walked around exploring all the art works an displays that are so amazingly beautiful. My only comment is that I hope you have more place to dance. We are ballroom dancers and we ended up leaving the only two places where were we can ballroom (Boleros and Dazzles because it's too crowded. Otherwise, it's a wonderful vacation. Oh! I forgot to mention, we love the Dragon's Flight zip lining in Labadee. I will do it again and again. Thank you so much. Read Less

We chose this cruise after sailing over 15 times on Disney, because of the cost. We are so glad we did. The experience was amazing. We booked a Jr. Suite and getting on and off the ship was great. 20 minutes from car to ship to get on and 25 minutes to get off. great!!! The ship was awesome from the amenities to the staff to the activities to the appearance of the ship. Even though we had a full cruise with over 6,000 people it only felt crowded once at lunch the 2nd day. The food both in the main dining room and the specialty restaurants was exceptional in both quality and portion size. The shows that we attended were of a very high caliber. Although we didn't care for CATS the performers were outstanding. The same goes for the Ice Show and the Aqua show. Finally the activities on board gave you something to do every minute of the day of you choose to. We will be returning in the future. Read Less

Even though you are sailing with 6000 people, it never felt like it. Service was friendly and efficient. Lines at elevators were few. I am always amazed by that! There are so many wonderful settings on the ship to just relax and listen to both live and recorded music. The Central Park area is lovely and unexpected on a ship. We love this ship so much we seldom get off at the familiar ports and just stay on and enjoy having the hot tubs and decks to ourselves. And then there is the food. I must admit, I do not go to the paid restaurants. There is so much good stuff available that is included, I never find the time or the desire! We have cruised many RC ships and the Oasis and the Allure are our favorites. Recently did the Anthem and it is third in our rankings. I am sure for the younger set it would rank first. We are senior citizens. I stay Loyal to Royal and never regret it. Read Less

We chose this trip because of previous experiences with Royale Caribbean. From the time we got processed and into our cabin we were then in a fun "shock and awe" in this magnificent floating city. I was pleased to see how the challenged were able to get around the ship and participate in many activities. The shore visits were a part of our cruise holiday. The staff were very friendly and took time to chat with us even though they were busy. The sections of the Cruise ship had different moods. The Chop House was the best steak I have ever had and I have travelled to over 40 countries around the world. The 24 hour cleaning and maintenance by the housekeeping staff did not interrupt our activities. Nothing was difficult for dining staff. If you did not have a spoon for your yogurt "Yes Sir I will get it right away." Read Less

Oasis of the Seas is a Cruise for all age groups, it has good food and entertainment service is excettional by the staff, there is never a dull moment on the ship always something to keep yourself occupied by participating doing swimming in the pool or soaking in hot tubs, zip lineing, flow riding, mini golf, table tennis, basketball, soccer and shopping on board . My grand children age 11 and 13 who accompanied us first time on this cruise had a great time and are looking forward to have again with their parents in future. They had their favorite waiter Manoj and his assistant Benny every time we went for formal dining, it was something very unusual for us to see how much the staff on RCC are trained to be very accommodative to all the guests. Food on the ship was amazing and had lots of varieties in alacarte and for buffets. We recommend this cruise to all our family and freinds, you will have no regrets. Read Less

I absolutely love this ship! I have cruised many times on Carnival and Royal but I am hooked on Royal Caribbean's Oasis Class. My husband booked us on the Harmony while we on the Oasis. Excellent cruise for all types of people. The crew was excellent and the food was outstanding! This was just what the doctor ordered for my husband and I. Sun , fun, and relaxation. Th adult solarium is a great place to mingle, eat, sun bathe, and cuddle with your partner. We had lunch and dinner in the Bistro and the food was delicious. In fact we prefer the Bistro over the formal dining room for a more intimate experience. Central Park is our favorite place. We were regulars at the Park Cafe and Rising Tides Bar! The Boardwalk was good too! Overall the ship had lots of nice places to eat that did not cost extra and the drink package is a must! Read Less

Love Royal Caribbean, friendly, courteous, crew members. Clean ship, good food and plenty of activities. Normally well organized. We have sailed on two other RCL ships, Freedom of the Seas from Port Canaveral and Liberty of the Seas from Barcelona, both seven night cruises. Royal Caribbean has its own port facilities in Port Canaveral and in St Thomas, USVI. We had an anniversary dinner in Chops, food was excellent and staff was superb. Chops is Tops! The production of Andrew Loyd Weber's musical "CATS" was terrific. Reminded us of the London production. One of the nice things about Royal Caribbean, if you want activities, they have them. If you want quiet and just wish to relax you can do that as well. If you wish to take excursions there is a good selection to choose from. If you just want to relax on board in port, you can do that. There is great selection of dining options. All the food options we tried were excellent. Food service is available 24/7. Read Less
