My wife and I chose this cruise as our Anniversary Cruise after sailing on the Enchantment for our Honeymoon. This beautiful vessel did not disappoint at all. The Aquatheatre show was absolutely fantastic. Such an amazing performace. The live band in Dazzles was spectacular. On our last night, I was ordering a drink from the bar and singing along to the song, and the female lead pulled me onstage and let me lead the song solo... "Brick House by Rick James" What a great time. The Love and Marriage gameshow is always a blast and "The Quest" never disappoints. I was a little disappointed that certain events should have been in larger venues due to popularity. Karaoke was held in "On Air" on the Royal Promenade, but should have been held in a larger venue like Dazzles as you could not get in if you didn't get there super early. The zip line aboard was fun and I even got my wife to do it and she is afraid of heights. After doing the ship's zip-line, we booked the big one in Labadee. I am also just a little disappointed with the Main Dining Room's food and menu selection. We only ate in the main Dining Room maybe 2 of the 7 nights. The menu selection was not that great, and The Windjammer's selection and taste was far better. Solarium Bistro was our choice for 2 of our 7 nights, and it did not disappoint by a long shot. The food was superb. The embarkation and disembarkation was a very smooth process. Read Less

They made sure that our 25th Wedding Anniversary was Grand! There is never a dull moment on the ship! The shows were marvelous! Such talent and very entertaining! I absolutely love this ship! I have cruised many times on Carnival and Royal but I am hooked on Royal Caribbean's Oasis Class. My husband booked us on the Harmony while we on the Oasis. Excellent cruise for all types of people. The crew was excellent and the food was outstanding! This was just what the doctor ordered for my husband and I. Sun , fun, and relaxation. Th adult solarium is a great place to mingle, eat, sun bathe, and cuddle with your partner. We had lunch and dinner in the Bistro and the food was delicious. In fact we prefer the Bistro over the formal dining room for a more intimate experience. Central Park is our favorite place. We were regulars at the Park Cafe and Rising Tides Bar! The Boardwalk was good too! Overall the ship had lots of nice places to eat that did not cost extra and the drink package is a must! Read Less

First cruise, it could not have been better. The staff was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. we wanted for nothing. Suggest: More Blues bands, did not have any! Sad, An early morning Bloody Mary Bar, No Rum Chata for morning coffee, sad, To Bad the smoking area takes up the whole mid ships on Deck 16, if we went to the Solierum to mid ships we had to hold our breath going through the smoking area, yuck! Dining and the dining service was a high light. The service was so good we actually canceled another dining experience to stay with Chrispin and Bonie at table 823 in Silk. Our stewart Robert was there when we needed something and his towel creatures were so much fun. There was aleays something going on, which kept every thing new and exciting. We will be cruisin again with RC. The Quatome of the Seas looks interesting. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we heard it was the biggest and the best. Embarkation had a very long line, but it went quickly and smoothly. Everything was clean once I boarded the ship and everyone I encountered was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed eating in the Windjammer more than the Main Dining Room. I feel as though tables with 2 people are thrown wherever there is room and there was WAY TOO MUCH hustle and bustle to enjoy a nice dinner. I loved the layout of our room and even enjoyed the Central Park balcony, HOWEVER it was extremely loud when the live band was playing up on the pool deck. ALL the entertainment is top notch. There wasn't a show I saw that I didn't like. We were asked by friends and family over and over what our favorite excursion was and we honestly can't say one over the other. All our excursions were unique in their own 'category'!! We would absolutely go again and bring our kids this time. The whole time we thought "The girls would love this!!" Read Less

Our cabin where cleaned and sheet change twice a day, you wake up with such a lovely sea view and sun shine, room service available day and night, the service in the dining room was just breath of fresh air, the food was 5 star treatment. As soon as we were on board its non stop entertainment and activities you don't feel like you are moving. The crew were excellent. We would definitely do it again less than 2 years . Read Less

It was on my bucket list. I was not disappointed. It was truly amazing. So much to see and do. Shows were fantastic, food delicious, staff great. It's a ship I would go in again! Excursions were very nice. You don't have enough time to do everything. Didn't really like the fact that you had to make reservations to see the shows but totally understand why with the amount of people on the ship. Not happy with smoking in the casino. But I probably saved money by not going in there. You could always find a seat outside and there were bars everywhere. Staff was very attentive to my needs. I thought it would be crazy getting off the ship at the end of the cruise, but it was very organized and we walked right off with no problem. Kudos to this fantastic ship. It's a must do in the future. Read Less

Love Royal Caribbean, friendly, courteous, crew members. Clean ship, good food and plenty of activities. Normally well organized. We have sailed on two other RCL ships, Freedom of the Seas from Port Canaveral and Liberty of the Seas from Barcelona, both seven night cruises. Royal Caribbean has its own port facilities in Port Canaveral and in St Thomas, USVI. We had an anniversary dinner in Chops, food was excellent and staff was superb. Chops is Tops! The production of Andrew Loyd Weber's musical "CATS" was terrific. Reminded us of the London production. One of the nice things about Royal Caribbean, if you want activities, they have them. If you want quiet and just wish to relax you can do that as well. If you wish to take excursions there is a good selection to choose from. If you just want to relax on board in port, you can do that. There is great selection of dining options. All the food options we tried were excellent. Food service is available 24/7. Read Less

Getting on and off the ship was so fast and easy. We really had a great relaxing time! The cabin view was at the back boardwalk view of the ship near the rock climbing wall, you had a great view of the back of the ship and the aqua theatre. This was a perfect location for us. The excursions were well planned out and very nice. The beach's were just as you see them on line. beautiful and very tropical. The food served on the excursions in comparable to the windjammer restaurant on the ship. The pools and jacuzzis' on the ship were always clean and ready for use. The cruise was in the perfect. I have talk to my friends about how friendly staff was on beautiful the ship was and how much fun everything was on the ship and I have highly recommend This cruise to everyone I've talked to since I've been home. The main dining room staff was excellent. Our head waiter and our waiter and their help was friendly and always on the ball to make sure we had our drinks and bread when we needed it in our food came promptly. The food was tasty and was always warm, Hot women served. The reports that we visited were excellent. My husband and I enjoyed visiting Saint Maarten we did a lot did a lot of shopping and we also toured the Dutch side and French side of Saint Maarten. We were also able to tour new San Juan in old San Juan. And then we went to Haiti for the part that Royal Caribbean owned and we had an excellent time at the beach and in the water. Very organized and great room - superior balcony cabin overlooking ocean. Would have never believed a large ship with so many crew and passengers would have been so great and smooth. Loved it and want to go on the Harmony of the seas now!!! Elevators were great since they had so many and they were fast. Park on ship is beautiful. So many dining options even a buffet in the dining room as well as ordering from a menu in the dining room. Loved the new way they handle the pictures now. So easy to go look at your pictures and decide what you want. So exciting. Loved their private island Labadee! Just breath taking and so relaxing on this beautiful beach. I choose royal Caribbean for the beauty and cleanliness and great food and entertainment. The Captain and cruise director for entertainment and crew are awesome in every way. Was not bored or disappointed in anyway and the family are all ready to go again. Worth the money!!!! My shopping experience was great and the deal were good and quality of merchandise. The crew made sure you were satisfied and they would not just tell you were shops and merchandise was they would escort you there and turn you over to a crew member, they would serve you nice drinks while being waited on and even give the children a beverage while shopping. The restaurant servers where very good at explaining the meals so you could make a choice that fit you. The entertainment in the theatres and parades and on deck and the bars was awesome and professionally done. We will use Royal Caribbean again. Read Less

We chose this cruise for our wedding, which will be posted on another thread, because we are both retired Navy and have friends all over. Royal was outstanding and the Oasis is a beautiful ship with a fantastic crew. I would go back and do it all over again, except for a couple of the shore excursions, but they will also have reviews! We drove down to Port Canaveral for the cruise, and used Lots of Honor for our off-site parking. They were great - inexpensive, with shuttle service to and from the port! The operation is owned by veterans and gives a portion of every dollar earned to veterans' charities! Embarkation was easy, and walking on to the Royal Promenade was amazing! We went straight to the Park Café for a quiet lunch of roast beef sandwiches, which were wonderful. The all clear had been given just before we got on board, so after our lunch, we headed to our staterooms. Our stateroom was a JS on Deck 14, port side, right at the start of the hump! The room was fantastic, with plenty of space and we had all of our group of 17 inside that afternoon, with no problems. Sal was our room steward, and he was a gem! He delivered things to our other guests, regardless of what room they were in, and he provided anything we asked for without any hesitation or delay. For Sailaway, we all went to the fantail (that's the back for all you non-Navy types) and deployed a banner for the PTZTv guys, since we had so many who could not join us for this very special cruise! Shout out to PTZTv for the coverage they gave us!!! There was so much to do on Oasis that we had to book another cruise on Allure just to see and do everything! There was literally something for everyone all day long! Eleven of us ate together in the MDR Grande each night for the late seating at 8 PM. Gercon and Jasuli were our head waiter and assistant waiter respectively, and they did an outstanding job. Two nights, we had two more from our group join us, and they rolled with it with no issues! Although the food was very good, I am proud to say that I won the weight gain contest, with a weight gain of only 3.2 pounds!!! That's awesome, since I am a foodie! We had a couple's dinner at Chops, which was included in our wedding package, and the filet was absolutely to die for! It literally melted in our mouths! We had dinner in Giovanni's one night, which was very good, although I prefer southern Italian cooking. But, the food was quite good, and quite representative overall of what one would find in Tuscany and northern Italy. The only show we went to was the Adult Comedy Show because I got mixed up on our time for Oasis of Dreams... definitely plan to catch this one in the future! The comedy show was plenty of laughter, and of course, we got picked on for getting married the next day, but it was all in good fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I did an Ionithermie cellulite wrap package in the spa, but knew that it was only because it was my wedding. I didn't buy anything from them, since I had done my research prior to going. It was actually very relaxing, even though the spa is located under the helipad. At Labadee, we rented two beach bungalows at Columbus Cove, and that was a great place for people to make a home base and meet up! Mickey was our attendant, and he was wonderful! We also did the zipline and coaster. Both were awesome! In Jamaica, my mom and I did the Great House Tour with lunch, and my husband and Dad did the Bob Marley Experience. Our tour was great, but left little time for her to explore the potter's studio afterwards, which she would have loved to do more of. The Bob Marley Experience was not quite what my husband and dad expected. My dad is a musician, and my husband is a cop, so you can guess... They were a bit taken aback by the fact that the tour seemed to be more about smoking weed than Bob Marley and his music, so that was kind of a let down. We went on a scuba excursion in Cozumel, and I could write a book about it. I would absolutely NOT recommend this to anyone, and I filed a complaint with the Excursion desk and the Dive Shop on board. The company was Sand Dollar Sports, and the diving was extremely unsafe! The equipment was old and not in the best shape (bad O-rings, leaky tank valves, etc), they allowed a person who was still drunk to dive, and the deckhand, Miguel, pushed me off the swim platform, causing my tank to hit the platform and the valve to smack me in the back of the head! Fortunately, I have a hard head, but this could have been fatal. I never really felt crowded on Lady O. It was a little overwhelming getting on board and entering the Royal Promenade, just the sheer size of it! But, other than feeding time in the Windjammer, there was never a large crowd anywhere! A word of advice... Don't wait until the last day to buy things that you want from the shops on board. You may run out of time like I did, and come home with less than what you had planned on! Travel Agent helped us decide this cruise line and was spot on. The accommodations were just right for just two of us, entertainment was top notch, always something to do. Food was unbelievably delicious at all the specialty restaurants and the Main Dining Room. Aqua theater had wonderful entertainment, Comedy shows, headliner and CATS, was fantastic. Beverages were great, pools kept in pristine condition (all 4), Room staff were very gracious and helpful. All staff members had a genuine smile and offered to help in any way possible. The Excursions were great, Water tubing was quite the adventure, Dunns River Falls we walked the side trails, due to knee and back issues. The submarine was wonderful for my husband since he cannot dive due to a head injury. The only down side is that the smoke eaters in the Casino were not working properly as we could smell the smoke on deck 3 and 5 by the elevators. We have adverse reactions to smoke through allergies and sinus reactions. Read Less

This cruise was a birthday present for my wife and since I was new to cruising, I did a lot of research online as well as having conversations with friends who were experienced cruisers. I decided to book through Royal Carribean and in particular the Oasis of the Seas. The dining experiences offered a large variety of foods from all over the world. The beverage package allowed for easy access to strategically placed beverage machines. The pools, hot tubs and sun bathing areas were wonderful. The onboard entertainment was exceptional and provided several opportunities to catch all the shows or take part in them. The ship is beautiful, the staff was super friendly, and all the ports were absolutely amazing! We had the time of our life and it was as if we were on our honeymoon. We haven't been on a cruise for over 11 years but always preferred Royal Caribbean. This cruise was a magical experience as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. We also celebrated our 35th Anniversary with Royal Caribbean by taking a back-to-back cruises to Hawaii. The specialty dining package was well worth the price. Fabulous food and excellent service. The entertainment was spectacular as well. We attended the diving show, the ice show, Come Fly With Me and Cats. We also enjoyed other more intimate music venues. The Oasis of the Seas Orchestra is so talented. We were in the company of very special friends who sail frequently and they were our tour guides. We did not purchase any excursions from the ship but truly enjoyed the ports we visited. Our cabin was an outside balcony which we enjoyed. Our Room Stewart (Valencio) was especially attentive and kept our room sparkling clean. The many improvements in the ship design were apparent and appreciated. The embarkation and debarcation processes were extremely efficient and helped to make our entire experience MAGICAL. Read Less

After this experience, we have already booked another cruise for later this year. Our cabin steward was outstanding. Anything we asked was taken care of with a smile. We purchased a 4 night special dining package and were totally satisfied with the service, food and attention to detail of the wait staff. This food and service rivals any we have experienced off the ship. As we discovered in our prior cruises, the entertainment aboard Royal Caribbean is far and away the best. I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of all the crew. We LOVE Royal Caribbean! The ships are gorgeous...this time we cruised on the Oasis of the Seas. The crew are wonderful!!! I WISH we could've spent more time in San Juan and Less in Haiti...I find people even in St Maarten to be a bit pushy near the shopping area, but enjoyed the bar near the beach owned by a nice man from France...the people in Haiti are so uncomfortably pushy and made me nervous that I didn't feel relaxed anywhere...but, that is my ONLY complaint! San Juan is FANTASTIC...I felt like I could've stayed there for a week...and we left that Port SO EARLY...(OK...second complaint, I guess) We loved the wait staff and the terrific people in the shops on board. They had a WONDERFUL entertainer who looked and sounded just like a young Elvis. He was fantastic!!! They had the Broadway Musical Cats on board too...I'm not a big fan of that particular play. But, the cast was extremely talented. I guess I'm more of a dog person. LOL Personally, we loved Raj in the Watch...or as he would say, "Timepiece" store on board. He was so sweet and funny and helpful. Our Wait Staff in the Main Dining room (Silk Dining Room) Table 184...Here's a shout out to all of you! We had been interested in sailing the Oasis since she debuted and we weren't disappointed!! This is a wonderful ship full of activities for everyone. Our active group of six ranged in age from 24 to 57(Me, DH, 2 DS, 2 of my sisters). Embarkation was a breeze. We were on board and having fun in less than an hour from arrival at the pier to walking up the gangway. The pools are large, and there were plenty of deck chairs for everyone every day of the trip. The Solarium is luxurious with a fabulous sea view. Although our group was all adults, everyone noticed how much fun the little ones were having in the terrific kids pool area. My one disappointment was the thermal suite which is very small and does not have a sea view or pool like some of the other ships. We had our meals in the Windjammer buffet or the main dining room and were very satisfied. The service was exemplary throughout. I never had to get up for a second cup of coffee in Windjammer. Our main dining room waiter, Reyly table 565, was the best we've ever had at any restaurant anywhere. His assistant Vicky is an able trainee learning from the best. Seeing them work his section of the dining room was a great reminder of what truly thorough and thoughtful service can be. I am generally an average tipper but I will go above and beyond for exceptional service. Reyly earned our respect and a huge tip over and above the standard gratuities. The basketball court and basketball competitions were tons of fun. The sports kids had a great time together on this ship.It took all my nerve and two days of watching to do the onboard zip line but the staff made me feel comfortable and safe. The hot dogs and Ben & Jerry's in the Boardwalk area were a big hit too. Even my adult sons loved the family movies played on the big screens on the back deck at the Aqua theater. The Aqua show was amazing. The singers and dancers in Cats were fantastic although I wonder why this show was chosen for on board entertainment. It seemed like a peculiar, long and awkward choice for sea vacation. More than 40% of the audience left after the first act. Everyone agreed that the performers were outstanding: the material was odd for cruise. Please note that I am a theater geek and have seen dozens of shows on and off Broadway. My DH and DSs did jetskis at Great Bay and watched the airplanes fly over Maho beach on St. Maarten, while my sisters and I lounged on the beach at Sonesta Great Bay resort all inclusive. We had fun touring and shopping Old San Juan. The Pina Coladas at Barrachina's were delicious. Labadee was so much fun, and having been prepped by doing the onboard zipline I was ready for the Dragon's Breath Zipline, a must do event. The beaches were beautiful with lots of chairs and soft white sand. I can't wait to go back to Labadee. We had such a great time on Oasis that a week after our return we have booked another cruise already for 2018. If you have an active and/or mixed age/generation group this is the ship for you!! My husband and I choose this cruise for our honeymoon. We had heard great things about it from friends and were excited...We were not disappointed! Getting on the ship was quick and easy. Our stateroom was ready and had everything we needed to start the trip as soon as we got in. We immediately headed up to the pool and toured around. Let me tell you, there is no way to be bored on this ship. If you start to get bored, there's another activity waiting for you. All of the shows were great. The dive show was rescheduled for our last sea day since the beginning of our week was too rainy, but it was amazing! The acrobats and tumblers in this show are unreal. The food! There is food everywhere you look and all of the speciality restaurants are worth their added expense. Chops was probably the best steak I've ever had. Our first 3 nights in specialty restaurants my husband said were "the best meals of his life!" The activities were so fun! We enjoyed the flowrider and the zip line! I was so scared on the zip line, but it's short and it was fun. The flow riders are always great. Usually you have to pay obscene amounts of money to use these wherever you go, so being able to try this without paying extra was great! We didn't try them until the last day and we're sad we weren't on them all 7! We carried our luggage off the ship and were off the boat and in a Lyft in less than 20 minutes. It was great! The staff is great, the drinks are great, the excursions were great. Everything about this trip was great! Get on this boat! Read Less

We have sailed on RCCL 11 times now. We especially love the Oasis class of ship. There is so much to see, do, and enjoy. The food is plentiful and well prepared; there is so much offered that if you cannot find something you like to eat, there's something wrong with you! Our cabin steward was very attentive, friendly, and concerned with our comfort. There is a lovely area for families with small children to enjoy. We saw the production of Cats, the Aqua theatre show, the comedian show, the Headliner show, and the ice show. All very well done. There is entertainment for all tastes. Central Park is especially lovely in the evening with live entertainment. The pool areas are kept clean, though they could do a better job of removing towels from chairs that are being "saved". We sat next to two chairs with towels for 3 hours with no sign of the "savers". There are signs posted regarding being away from chairs for 30 min or longer, but this is not enforced. The pools now have life guards, which is always a good idea. The bar staff is always friendly, though the drink prices are pretty steep. The drink packages are not worth their value unless you are a rather heavy drinker. Read Less
