this was me and my wife's first time on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship but won't be our last, we had a great time and met great people, the food was good everyday, very good on variety in food on daily so you're not eating the same thing over and over, bars were great, very friendly bartenders and bar attendants, funny, and never had a bad experience, spa was a breath of fresh air, we got the couple's package on day 1 and instantly fell in love with it, the services the spa provided was amazing, our stateroom attendant Greg was the best we could ask for, very attentive, friendly and full of information, the on board shows were great, aqua theater shows were awesome , comedians were hilarious and my wife loved the musicals and ice shows and shops on board were great as well, overall experience was great, didn't want it to end, definitely would travel with Royal Caribbean again Read Less

We chose this cruise based on recommendations from friends. I didn't realize it was one of the biggest cruise boats in the world when I booked it and was glad it was the first cruise boat we went on. We didn't have any trouble with motion sickness at all. I would highly recommend this cruise and cruise line to anyone and everyone! We went to 3 ports and booked excursions at each. -Labadee, Haiti has it's own private area and was absolutely gorgeous with the mountains! We went on the Kayak Adventure with short beach break with some shopping. Great tour guide who gave us some history of Labadee. Please visit there because tourism is #1 source income for them. Royal has brought many jobs, water and electricity to them!! -Falmouth, Jamaica has a nice port for shopping but plan to travel for most shore excursions. Colleen was a great tour guide to Dunn River Falls and River Tubing. -Cozumel, Mexico was beautiful and has some shore excursions off the island. We drove a jeep to Punta Sur. Jeep could have been in better shape, some of the other drivers had newer jeeps with a/c, ours was stripped, no a/c, no radio, nothing... (only complaint and take that as a small complaint). The tour guides were awesome and we got a good history lesson, sawe some crocodiles, went snorkeling, option to eat buffet lunch for $10 each (we opted to eat when we got back to port at Margaritaville), and tour of a lighthouse with the most spectacular views of the whole island. We did not explore Orlando before or after cruise, just didn't have time mostly. Embarkation and disembarkation always went smoothly from beginning to end. I recommend eating in the main dining room if you don't want to spend extra money on the specialty restaurants. Chops Grille was really good though. Didn't eat much in the wind jammer (the buffet style restaurant). Mainly when we were tight on time. Desserts were awesome, wish I would have taken pictures of the food! All of the shows were top notch! There was ALWAYS something going on and the cruise director and staff were awesome! Stateroom was great, clean and we had ocean balcony. Any room would be nice but I did like the natural light coming in during the day. Any cons we had would be better music on the pool deck, such as more Caribbean music. We traveled without our children this time but they have an awesome kids area for ages 3-11 plus a teen area for ages 12-17. We may or may not take our kids next time. I would definitely go again and I am already ready to go back! Read Less

I choose this particular cruise because of the price and timing of the departure date. From beginning to end we had a fantastic time. Drove to FL the day before sailing and spent a great day and evening at the port. The embarkation process was very smooth. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the ship was excellent. Loads to do and see with great restaurants (Solarium), bars (Globe and Anchor) and shops.Entertainment was non-stop with lots of variety for all ages. The service was first class and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ports were great. Haiti (Laberdee) was very nice. Beaches were well maintained and clean. Water was fantastic. Do not leave the port in Jamaica (pretty scary outside the gate). Cozumel was the best. Took a VW bug tour of the island and had a great time visiting some of the local food shacks by the road. Did some snorkeling and took a tour of one of the local Tequila farms. Overall we had one of the best experiences we have ever had and cannot wait to book again for next year. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT..... Husband wanted to go in this particular ship every since it came out. Central Park is beautiful. The abiloty to prebook shows made things run smoothly. The staff in the spa especially Stacy Grant were so attentive and made our time in the Spa relaxing and enjoyable. Our room steward had the most infectious laugh. The ship layout is great and Central Park balcony room well worth the added expense. We had the opportunity to be 1 of only 40 invited guess for a special Sake and Sushi pairing set up and joined by the founder and head Chef of Izumi. Amazing experience! Pools and spa area for 16 and up were enjoyable. We did Jet Skis and Ziplines ine Labadee. This was an exciting adrenaline packed day. Loved it! The staff as always were very friendly and attentive. We did specialty dining all but one night. Izumis was our favorite. Read Less

The staff aboard the Oasis of the Sea are all top notch and the best at what they do. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, professional and passionate about giving the best service possible. The food rivals 4 and 5 star restaurants. And I’ve been to more than a few to know. The cruise directors morning rant on tv channel 14 was great. He was funny, and gave great tips on what to do each day and any special items to get or do. You will not be disappointed and have the time of your life. The room attendant and our waiter was truly the best. I have worked with and in some of the best resorts in the world. So to say I can be hard on judgement of a place is an understatement. But Royal Caribbean, the Oasis of the Sea and their staff are truly some of the best in the business. They will make you feel like a king or queen and nobody else matters. Read Less

This cruise was our 3rd on the Oasis class ships and 6th Royal Caribbean. We booked a Royal Suite Star Class and booked cabin 1758. We received a Royal Genie. The Royal Genie contact starts 6 weeks prior requesting you to fill out a questionnaire to get information to assist them in providing you with a exceptional cruise that you will not forget. I can assure you of that as it definitely will. Then 4 weeks, then 2 weeks then days before you will receive a Royal Caribbean Loop messaging service. The only thing to know about this Loop servicing is that it is not a App! It is only for messaging as you do not receive any notification icon or sound alerting you to an incoming message. You would have to keep it open to see any incoming messages from your Royal Genie. Every member of the ship treats you like royalty. When you are in this level of a Star class suite as on the Oasis there are only 11 cabins who receive a Royal Genie and there are 3 dedicated to this ship. 2 Royal Genies each get 4 cabins and 1 get 1 cabin. One thing I confirmed is that when Royal caribbean states Gratuities included it is not for the Royal Genie. A Genie gets about $22500 yearly salary from what I saw on their job application. Even tough they prefer not to accept a tip, I gave my Genie a generous tip as they definitely give you a Royal Class experience at every moment. The get you into any restaurant, show, reserve places on the ship for you at anytime. There is never a cannot do that. You receive complimentary food and beverages, champagne every day to our cabin. All beverages in our cabin is stocked daily. We did Chops for Day 1 and Day 5 and I must say the food is EXCEPTIONAL! We did 150 Central park on day 2 for our Anniversary. From 150 to any other restaurant we just loved the food. Especially Costal Kitchen for Suite Guest. We cannot wait to do our next cruise already booked next year in the same cabin. Read Less

We wanted to cruise on the largest cruise ship in the world. However, what comes with the largest cruise ship is the largest amount of people. Large crowds everywhere, especially the restaurants, crazy busy. Can't complain though, we knew it would be since it's the largest. Embarkation was very quick and smooth. Food was very good. Especially lunch and dinner. Staff were very accommodating, friendly, and did everything professionally. Very humble crew! We did not travel with children however, there is plenty to do with kids. They'll have a blast! We updated our cabin a couple levels however, our cabin still seemed smaller than other cruise lines we have experienced. The bathroom sink was like what is in a small camper, a shallow very small bowl. No A/C plugs either? All in all, a great experience. We did everything the ship had to offer. Flow rider surfing, rock climbing wall, putt putt golf, and the zip line. Fitness center and the staff there were awesome. Shows were totally professional no doubt. The dive show and ice skating show were the best!! The ports were great. Be aware that Labadee has very pushy people in their little stores? We did excursions in 2 of 3 ports. Dolphin excursion experience was the best! Disembarkation was easy and quick. We will be back in a few years! We would recommend the self service type disembarkation. Super easy. Don't pack too much. You 'll really only be wearing your bathing suit most of the time, haha! Blessings! Read Less

We really enjoyed our time on the Oasis of the Seas with 6,448 other cruisers and 2,000 crew onboard. We made all of our reservations online before we sailed. It made everything so easy as we did not need to wait for dinner or shows to get in. We arrived early on Sunday and was through check in and onboard by 11:30 a.m. We explored the boat the first day and even did the zip line. Easy to get around and everyone was very helpful if we needed anything. We did the kayak excursion at Labadee and it was ok? Be prepared to paddle fast to keep up with the leader. We did the horseback riding excursion in Jamaica and enjoyed the part where the horse swims through the water..............however, we did not enjoy the 45 minute bus ride to and from even though you do get to see a lot of the island. We did the ATV, speedboat and snorkeling on Cozumel and would recommend it. Read Less

We are becoming very loyal RC cruisers, this was our third. The Oasis is a beautiful ship loaded with everything needed for a great vacation. Our room was comfortable (interior), kept neat & clean by an attendant who not only managed our room nicely, created novelty towel creations, was very personalable;it was very nice to be greeted by our names when we saw him in the hallway. The food & service in the main dining room was, as always, excellent! It was very nice to have a few smaller restaurants for breakfast & lunch... we enjoyed the park cafe in the Central Park area, really enjoyed having lunch in the park. The entertainment was very good, the diving show, the high flying show, & El Gaucho were exceptional! It was good to see staff making sure that the chaise lounges rules were being followed so that towels vacant chairs were removed after 30 min of vacancy. Departure was a see less procedure, it took us a total of 35 min to carry out our bags, go thru customs, find our shuttle & arrive at our car... best departure we’ve had so far. Based on our trip, we booked our next cruise while still on ship. Read Less
