We have previously cruised on the big girls and it has become our ship of choice. So many venues and things to do that keep us busy from morning to night. This cruise was a surprise for DW as we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and it all went off without a hitch even though Irma tried her best to mess things up. Two days before the cruise I mentioned the upcoming event and boy was she surprised. I had also booked the Owner's Suite for the first time which she found out as we slid the sea pass card in the door. I let her ring the doorbell to see if anyone else was there :). Wow......what a cabin. We were both awed by the size and the storage available not to mention the huge balcony. Then the knocks on the door brought assorted goodies each day to help us somehow manage the downtimes between feedings. There were 3 other couples that we cruised with so our cabin was the place to hangout for Mexican Train and Sequence games. I had ordered the Anniversary package which included beautiful decorations for the cabin and also a delicious cake which was shared by all on numerous days. Dining was in the MDR for dinner, Coastal Kitchen for breakfast and wherever for lunch. Excellent service in MDR and all entrees were delicious and plentiful. Because we were suite guests our table of 8 had extra roll baskets and sliced fruit and melon dishes each night. Coastal Kitchen breakfast's were delicious and relaxing with great service and a wide variety of options. French toast was outstanding. A buffet setup was available also if you wanted with muffins, donuts, danish and fresh fruit available. We chose to skip that and just have our choices served. This venue also hosts the Suite Lounge but we chose to use the Diamond Lounge for our evening drinks so we could join friends.......Weather was beautiful and seas were calm for the 7 days. We only got off the ship in Labadee to enjoy the beach and suite buffet. Other ports we stayed aboard and relaxed in the hot tub and played games.........Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and easy. Especially disembarkation now that they eased up on the Custom's security checks on the way out. We were off the ship and thru customs in 10 mins. tops........I honestly couldn't have asked for a better anniversary cruise and the suite life is the way to go. In fact after we got back we changed our booking on the Harmony in May from a balcony to a GS. We don't need the Star class options but did really enjoy the Sky class options. Now if I were only richer..........Skip & Sue Read Less

This was our 51st cruise and finally sailed on one of the mammoths, Oasis of the Seas. Though we worried it might be too big for us, or feel like a shopping mall, there was nothing to worry about. We had a Jr. Suite on Deck 11, very near the Diamond Club. Loved the junior suite with walk-in closet and oversized balcony and the proximity of our cabin to the elevators and the Diamond Club. This is one of the best Diamond Clubs we experienced. Two stories and lots of seating. Free drinks from 4:30 to 8:00 every day for Diamond and above members of Crown & Anchor Society. The view is of the aft of the ship and you can see the diving pool and the ocean from here. The shows were fantastic, other than CATS. We loved the diving show and the ice show, as well as Come Fly with Me. Easily this was the best entertainment of any cruise we have been on. We gave CATS a try, but left after 30 minutes. The show is just too long for a cruise ship. There were a ton of activities. Some of our favorites were the Prohibition Party (extra charge), the 70s Disco Party and the live music throughout the ship. And don't forget the ziplining, rock climbing wall and flow riders. Lots of things to see and do on the Oasis. We passed on the Thermal Suite this cruise. Instead of having an ocean view, the four heated loungers had a view of a wooden wall. I didn't come to the Caribbean to look at a wall. This was really the only big mistake we found on the Oasis. Ports were fine, though this cruise was all about the ship for us. In Labadee, we did the Kayak Adventure, and I recommend it. In Falmouth, Jamaica, we walked downtown and found a great jerk restaurant. In Cozumel, we visited Paradise Beach and once again had the Ultimate Nachos Volcano, which we highly recommend. The Captain is very personable and promised us a week of great weather. He delivered, successfully dodging Hurricane Maria. We were very glad to finally experience the Oasis class, and will be back again soon. Read Less

My wife and I have never sailed Oasis but sailed on Allure in the past. First time from Port Canaveral. My wife was nervous with the influx of hurricanes hitting FLA. We flew in a day before sailing, stayed at the Embassy Suites, found the Florida Beer company across the street. That broke the ice and eased any apprehension. We sailed Oasis on Sunday and loved it so much we sailed BTB the following week as well. and in speaking with Captain Per. He reassured us by saying that the best vacation is on a Cruise ship because a ship can out-maneuver a major weather event. If you at a Resort, not so much, you can't enjoy your vacation.. Embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze. Suite and Concierge service (thanks Lyli and Fedirico) is second to none. Coastal Kitchen lunches were awesome. Windjammer buffet has lots of something for everyone! Dining Room service is awesome and impeccable. We took the galley tour. Awesome, Oasis serving 60,000 plated meals per day. WOW! I played hoops and volleyball everyday. My wide and I walked the stairs every day and logged Fitbit 300 stairs per week. Activities were awesome. And when we got home, our weight had not changed. Personal Service provided all-over the ship is great.. Spa services were lots of fun. Labidee beach and barbeque is a must. Nassau was a last minute switch, great choice! The only negative of the whole trip, my wife stubbed her toe in the middle of the night. We made a trip to the Infirmary. Xrays, Orthopedic doctor evaluation, and no charge. Poor night light, which was fixed the next day. PS. The toe had a bad bruise (all colors) but not broken. We got daily phone calls to check on her status. We are RCCL enthusiasts and we booked another BTB on the Harmony of the Seas in May 2018! Read Less

We scheduled this cruise to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. We enjoyed Specialty dining at 150 Central Park and Chops. The menu at Chops has changed since my last visit and in my opinion it has improved. My wife had the filet and I enjoyed the rib eye. Both were excellent. The cruise was immediately after Hurricane Irma so it was shortened to 4 days and less than 3000 people were on board. The lack of crowds was fantastic. The service everywhere we went was superb and the waiters extremely cordial. Embarkation was easy and stress free. No elevator crunch, do to the low passenger count. Reservations were no problem for anything we wanted to do or see. Disembarkation, using the self assist program, took literally 10 minutes, the length of time it took to walk from the ship to the parking lot. The Captain and crew did a wonderful job making our shortened cruise one of the best ever. Read Less

My husband booked this cruise for me for my 70th Birthday. My 7 day cruise was shortened to 4 days due to Hurricane Irma. After surviving the Eye of the Hurricane in the Villages, Florida, with damage only to a downed Oleander bush and Palms and a yard full of Oak leaves and branches from my 2 Oak trees. We cleaned the yard and bagged the debris and then on Wednesday the 13th of September ( my Birthday), we drove to Port Canaveral in record time with light traffic. At the port , embarking was easy and quick. At 1 PM are room was ready and our suitcases were at our door. We made reservations for dinner at 150 Central Park for my birthday dinner. Dinner was suburb! Our waiter sang Happy Birthday and gave me Cheesecake with a lighted candle. Such a special Birthday that I will never forget the year Irma tried to take my cruise away-but thankfully failed. We did in four days, everything we wanted to do in 7 days. We played miniature golf, sat in the whirlpool with another lovely couple we just met-relaxing and fun! Dinner at Chops and enjoyed the new menu. Our other two nights at the dining room. One of those nights was Lobster night and I savored my 2 Lobsters. We went to the Comedy Club and had fun interacting with the comedian about being the longest married couple in the room- 49 years. I never laughed so hard! I lost money in the casino, but didn't care because I was on the most perfect cruise of my life so far. Now I am anxiously waiting to return to the Oasis on the Oasis the end of October for my husbands 71st Birthday cruise. Disco Lady Read Less

Ship: Amazing... Central Park, Aqua Theater, Boardwalk all stood out to me! Cabin: Our room was way better than we expected. We were located at the front of the ship and it made for an amazing view at night and early morning. Bigger than we expected so that was definitely a plus. Dining: Food is great. Variety is probably what stands out the most. Definitely purchase a dining package for access to the signature restaurants as they have the best food and the staff is a step above the main dining halls. Even though the main dining hall staff was amazing as well. Entertainment & Activities: A ton of things to do. This is where I would give the only knock on my cruise experience. We wanted a few more night time options that catered to a younger married couple with no kids. Better DJ's would be nice in the nightclub and more dance parties. The first ship we went on did things to get people up and comfortable with each other through conga lines, soul train lines and dance competitions. This one did not. Majority of the night time activities seemed to be catered to older people or families. Service: Top Notch. This is a bigger ship so there is a little drop in service across the entire ship from the smaller ships we've been on. Overall, everyone is polite, friendly and helpful. Bartenders seemed to be the biggest area for improvement from my opinion. Ports & Shore Excursions: There is a lot to choose from so for that reason alone you really couldn't ask for much more. The beach chair and cabana options are pretty pricy, but that's relative to how much you value laying on the beach. Would I do it again? Yes, we've already discussed cruising again. Read Less

After 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and a dog, my husband and I were looking for total relaxation. This was our 20 year anniversary and we wanted to do something special. The room was great, the ship was beautiful, the entertainment was excellent, but the service won hands down. We had a wonderful porter. His easy nature was great to work with. He was always smiling and always kind and we appreciated that. We aIso enjoyed both our waiters immensely. We felt very welcome. They made our stay pleasurable and welcoming. The best part is we could tell our main water meant everything, From his willingness to serve our table, to his funny jokes, to his excellence as a server, I really could go on and on about this gentleman. He made us feel like we were the most important people on the ship. I love that I ended up at his table. He is a genuinely wonderful and warm person and Royal Caribbean should be very proud to have a dedicated associate such as him. He made me want nothing more than Royal Caribbean for my next vacation. I really can't say enough about this experience. There was so much entertainment we couldn't do it all and it was hard to decide what to do and what not to do. In the end, relaxation won out and we just enjoyed ourselves. We did some things and we didn't feel pressed to do it all. We saw CATS Broadway show and enjoyed both a diving and aerial acrobatics shows. We even zip lined across deck 16. I can go on and on about this experience. It was wonderful Read Less

My wife and I chose this cruise prior to the announcement that it was going to be the Total Eclipse cruise based on information from a travel agent who recommended the ship. We have cruised a few times on other cruise lines on what we thought were "large" cruise ships. None of them compared with the Oasis of the Seas. We used Go Port Canaveral as the shuttle service because we could leave the car in the hotel parking lot instead of paying to park at the port. We are not sure we would do this again because they put us in hotels in Titusville. We did not get to the terminal until around 2:00 PM when it was very crowded. Check in through security was smooth and efficient. We did stand in line about 40 minutes while waiting to get our Sea Pass but the lines were divided by floor so they did process over 6,000 passengers in a relatively short period of time. We took in a lot of the entertainment (Cats, the Ice Skating, Mo5aic and the diving show.) All were professional and entertaining. Others on the cruise mentioned that the comedy show was also very good. The cabin (ocean side balcony) was comfortable and clean. The service and Dining were what you would expect from a cruise. We did dine at two of the "specialty" restaurants during the cruise. Chops is a steak restaurant that was excellent. The service and food were perfect. We did not enjoy Giovanni's as much because we did not care for the food choices. We are move of an "American Italian" food type of people and did not care for the "authentic" Italian. The people next to us in the restaurant commented that it was the best they had so we would recommend that others give it a try. "Specialty Dining" was pushed almost as much as "Shopping" on this cruise. We had received a certificate for specialty dining from our travel agent so we did not take a look at the dining options. Disembarkation went extremely well considering the number of passengers. The groups of luggage were small enough that our bags were very easy to find. We would recommend this cruise ship to our friends and would certainly go again. Read Less

We very much enjoyed our time aboard the Oasis of the Seas, Total Eclipse Cruise. My husband and I began planning about 10-11 months beforehand, and thanks to the reviews here on Cruise Critic we were able to navigate the overwhelming number of options. This was my first experience and it was a wonderful memory for a lifetime! Prior to departure, the online cruise planner tool was very helpful to book excursions and make appointments for on board entertainment, dining and beverage packages. Customer service was also very helpful. We booked the Cruise.com. We flew into Orlando on the Friday night before a Sunday departure and arranged for private transportation to Port Canaveral. We booked hotel and transportation on our own. Getting on and off the ship was very easy. The process was very efficient and they moved the large crowd through with ease. We immediately noticed several people carrying bottled water through security and even packs of soda. We were quite surprised, because we had called in advance and were told we could not bring our own non-alcoholic beverages on board. When we inquired, the security guard said that as long as it is unopened - it's fine. On the ship, there are so many options to choose from for activities. It is a very large ship and we took the first day or so to get oriented. It can be somewhat overwhelming. I was worried about motion sickness, however, I could hardly tell when the ship was moving or stopped. Very smooth sailing. We stayed on the Deck 12. I utilized the spa services for a massage and very much enjoyed that. We also attended a few of the headliner shows. We enjoyed Mo5aic and comedy show the most. Royal Caribbean rearranged our itinerary so that we could catch the total eclipse at sea and this was a spectacular event. However, the Total Eclipse concert tickets were not available even as we boarded the ship early. Several passengers were upset about not having a chance to get tickets. We watched from a higher deck and enjoyed it, although it didn't appear that all the seats were filled at the ticketed seating area. We dined mostly in the main dining hall. Our servers Shirley and Leaford took very good care of us. We are vegetarian and so our options were limited, but they had something for us every meal. We purchased one beverage package in advance. We don't drink alcohol, but we enjoyed the mocktails and were able to refill at the Coke machines. I'm not sure that those machines are totally restricted. It appeared some people without the package were able to get drinks. We were glad to have only purchased one refreshment package. I really enjoyed our balcony room with ocean view. I wouldn't cruise any other way. Access to the outdoor space was nice, private and an added treat. Our housekeeping attendant, Codan was great. He greeted us daily by name and made sure we had just what we needed. We did excursions at each port. We booked our St. Maarten excursion through Royal Caribbean and our Island overview tours at St. Thomas and the Bahamas through Cruise.com. We made the trip from St. Thomas to St. John on our own, but that was with a very tight schedule. Wish we had more time to spend at St. John. All in all, I am so happy we selected this cruise. Royal Caribbean really went above and beyond and we can't wait to cruise with them again. Read Less

Such a fantastic ship, great variety of restaurants, bars and great staff! The cabins are very well proportioned with a king size bed, decent amount of storage and a nice bathroom. The dining options on the ship cater for everyone, it is almost impossible not to find something that would appeal to you on this ship. The bars are well stocked with premium brands, thankfully there are no cheaper alternatives. I could not recommend the drinks package enough, fantastic price and excellent value for money. We have broke even most days by lunch time! The entertainment on the ship is outstanding, the aqua show is a must as is the ice skating show. The crew on board the ship work very hard and provide excellent service, there are plenty of waiters offering a drinks service by the pool. We visted St. Marteen which was just ok, San Juan is pretty small and again was ok. Labedee however was beautiful and we had an amazing time. Read Less

We Chose this cruise because it lined up with our work/ school schedule at home and it was a 7 night! It was our first cruise, we were celebrating our 15th year anniversary. We were able to relax and enjoy each other. We had a lot of fun and new experiences on our shore exursions. The food was always readily available 24/7, Main Dining had superior food to the Wind jammer dining hall. You had areas to get away and relax, or party, or workout, or do sports, or shop, be entertained, gamble, read, etc.... I was impressed on how much they cleaned and maintained the ship as well. You can tell the cruise personell have been trained for customer service, especially multi-cultural!! There was a very relaxed atmosphere, everyone was happy and ready to have fun. The only thing that I would rather see is that the port shops sold more authentic merchandise. To sell true souveniers, that were made in their own country and not shipped in from China. I want to purchase souveniers that can only be found at that port, not something I can just order online. You loose the specialness of a souvenier when you Americanize the port shopping and exursions. Read Less

From beginning to end this cruise was extraordinary. We are from the Port Canaveral area so embarkation was not a problem. From start to finish I believe it took maybe 30 minutes, longest time was waiting to go through security, being prepared is key. Disembarkation was the same, painless and took very little time, again the key is being prepared with all your paperwork. The ship was amazing, beautifully kept and did I say AMAZING! So much to see I know we didn't see it all. Our cabin was emaculate and our cabin attendant Maria was exemplary. Always on top of things and more than willing to please. Can't say enough about her, she was superb! We had reservation for My Time Dining, and after reading some reviews from previous cruiser had a little trepidation about the experience. All put to rest from the time we gave our cabin number to the time we sat and had something at the table. Total time, perhaps 10 minutes or less. Our server Iputu was the best and his smile, infectious. Always asking if things were good or if he could bring us something else. Never ceased to have plenty of food in front of us, which was delicious and more if we desired. Coffee cup and water glass always full and at the ready. Celebrated our son's 21st birthday and it was everything we hoped and more. The entertainment in the dining room had everyone on their feet. The main Chef absolutely stole the show! The entertainment was over the top and enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the crew. It didn't matter where we planted ourselves the service was pretty awesome. Wasn't too sure about Sorrento's but once I had a bite of their pizza and stromboli, well I was hooked, not to mention they also have a bar. Although no definite plans were made for St. Maarten, with the help of one of the vendors we ended up in van and on our way to Maho Beach beautiful beach and worth the trip) for just a couple of dollars and we got to tour the city at the same time. In Puerto Rico the same deal. Asking one of the Police Officers in my native language where the Fort was, he was more than happy to steer us in the direction of the Trolley, which was free and again an excellent tour of the city and an amazing, on our own tour of such a historical place.Highly recommended. I know we spent a couple of hours there and only left because we were in search of some Mofongo which we found at El Balcon del Moreno. Excellent authentic cuisine for a great price. Only drawback is that it's not a long enough stay there. The only place we had an excursion booked was in Labadee. We booked the Traditonal Labadee excursion and believe me, if you want history this is it. A boat ride away to one of their islands and you are deep in it! What an experience! They definitely put on a show for you. My son was enthralled, never pulling out his phone for pictures and thanked me afterwards for such a historical experience, did I mention he's 21! Not a bad price either, booked thru Royal and worth every penny. We took something away from every Port of Call and left us wanting for more especially in Puerto Rico. Great things happen when you least expect it. Although we don't have young children, I did have the opportunity to walk by the Children's Club. Something for every age. My daughter has 2 young boys and I couldn't help but think how much they would love this. The pool set up for the young cruisers is to be envied. Didn't see anything I wouldn't recommend for those traveling with young children. To say that we would definitely go back is an understatement! Already thinking of our next cruise since we have what my son calls PCD (Post Cruise Depression). My husband, son and I can't wait for our next experience with Royal Caribbean. Our first long cruise, previously done Enchantment for a short cruise, and our first balcony experience, never going back to Oceanview. We take away great memories of great experiences on a great ship, Oasis of the Seas! Read Less

It was a dream vacation. Oasis of the Seas has all the amenities anyone can dream about. I love Central Park, feel and taste nature in it's best. This is the first cruise ship, I have been with such a beautiful and out of this world nature escape. The Oasis of Dreams show in aqua Theater is out of this world experience. All the crew members are warm and accommodating. I also love your jogging tracks, great location, not in the top deck where we used to bit the Carribbean heat, we were able to jog at least three times during the cruise and the gym also had the best equipments. We also enjoyed the pool and the whirlpool spa. I love the art words everywhere. We just walked around exploring all the art works an displays that are so amazingly beautiful. My only comment is that I hope you have more place to dance. We are ballroom dancers and we ended up leaving the only two places where were we can ballroom (Boleros and Dazzles because it's too crowded. Otherwise, it's a wonderful vacation. Oh! I forgot to mention, we love the Dragon's Flight zip lining in Labadee. I will do it again and again. Thank you so much. Read Less

This was my first time cruising so I was kind of anxious about what to expect and how I would like this type of vacation. Turns out it was my favorite trip I have ever taken. My wife and I are both 26 years old without children. There is such a wide variety of activities on this ship that we were always able to find something we enjoyed - a lot of the activities didn't necessarily apply to us but there was enough variety that we were always able to find something. I had done research before hand and was acclimated to the layout of the ship, otherwise I probably would have been overwhelmed. Despite doing this and having a relatively good sense of direction there were still some times where I got turned around; luckily there are maps everywhere to help you figure out which way to go. Despite being the oldest of the Oasis class ships, I was really impressed by every area of the ship. Nothing seemed aged or out of style. I'm looking forward to cursing on the newer ships to see their improvements. The staff were always tremendously friendly and were always helpful to our needs. We always at dinner in the Main Dining Room and were happy with the selection and quality of the food. We made sure to avoid the buffets during peak hours and it never really felt too crowded. My wife and I enjoy drinking so we both purchased the drink package. This was well worth our money as we practically always had a drink in our hands. The drinks were great and service was very quick and easy. The bartenders are skilled and can make anything you want. A lot of bars have their own menus with unique drinks which was nice. We tried all the different shows on the ship and were impressed by the quality - especially the water diving show and the comedy show. Some acts weren't our style, but again those can just be avoided. During the day we spent the vast majority of our time in the Solarium. We had no problem finding chairs (unlike the main pools on the ship) and enjoyed lounging in the pool with our drinks. The pool is small but was rarely over crowded. There were 3 or 4 bartenders that would deliver drinks straight to the pool. The one negative of our experience was the speed of the internet. It was pretty unreliable and required re-entering the passcode any time your device was idle for more than 2 hours. Read Less

We agreed on this cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary, however, the booking agent failed to list it on our booking. Our room service was excellent and our service person was very friendly. (Room 668 floor 14). Our dining experience was awesome, we ate to much. Our waiter was very experienced in helping us with our menu selections. His assistance kept our drink coming. (8:pm dining, Table 991). Shopping areas, the garden, the board walk, the entertainment, the Islands visited and especially the food will keep us coming back if we can afford too. We wanted to do something a bit different for our wedding, so we booked this cruise so as to be married at sea, by the captain, on 7/17/17. We were not disappointed. The ceremony took place in the Rising Tide bar, which is an awesome venue. Everything from the start of the process went rather smoothly, with only a few hiccups along the way. Just give yourselves plenty of time to get everything done (paperwork-wise), and it will be fine. After the ceremony, we set out to enjoy the honeymoon. The food in the main dining room was very good, and we were never left wanting more. The shows were very good as well. We planned on doing the adult comedy show on the evening we were in Jamaica, with the thought being we'd be nice and relaxed from drinking local rum beforehand. That was a good call, as the show was outstanding! Unfortunately, we couldn't get into any more of them, as they were sold out the rest of the cruise. Book it early!!! The only drawbacks I can find is that there were only two places to use the drink dispensers with the refreshment package. While the staff told us we could use any bar to refill our drinks, I purchased the package for access to Powerade Zero. Since we were traveling in the heat of summer, we wanted to drink more electrolyte drink instead of carbonated choices. The other drawback is that quite a few people would reserve chairs at the pools, even though they were not supposed to. 10AM, and not a chair to be found in the shaded areas. We expected to feel crowded on a ship with 6,000 others - but to our surprise it was not like that at all. The only time it felt that way was at dinner in the main dining area. The neighborhoods the ship is broken into make the experience intimate. The Central Park foliage was amazing. The bar staff at the outside Sabor Tequila bar located on the Boardwalk ( Rafael & Lucia ) were the highlight of our trip. They had great energy and comraderie. The food in main dining was average, we opted for one of the dinner upgrade packages so we could dine in some of the "upscale" resataurants in Central Park section. Chops was the best of the group in our opinion. If you tire of the crowds at Windjammer, try Park Cafe for lunch - the food was better and the ambiance too. We would sail on this ship again. Oasis of the Seas is a Cruise for all age groups, it has good food and entertainment service is excettional by the staff, there is never a dull moment on the ship always something to keep yourself occupied by participating doing swimming in the pool or soaking in hot tubs, zip lineing, flow riding, mini golf, table tennis, basketball, soccer and shopping on board . My grand children age 11 and 13 who accompanied us first time on this cruise had a great time and are looking forward to have again with their parents in future. They had their favorite waiter Manoj and his assistant Benny every time we went for formal dining, it was something very unusual for us to see how much the staff on RCC are trained to be very accommodative to all the guests. Food on the ship was amazing and had lots of varieties in alacarte and for buffets. We recommend this cruise to all our family and freinds, you will have no regrets. Read Less

The ship itself was huge and very well kept. We stayed in a most basic stateroom without windows. Overall, the room was OK and clean, just the bed linens seemed a bit old. Also, we only had warm but not hot water in the shower. As for the food, there were many dining options, but we would have welcomed a wider variety of vegetarian options for dinner. Staff was OK, but could have been friendlier. We were on a Carnival Liberty cruise last month and found the staff there to be much friendlier. The evening shows were amazing. We especially enjoyed Frozen in Time, Come Fly With Me, Oasis of Dreams, and Mo5aic. The only show we didn't enjoy much was the CATS, because the musical itself is super boring and lasts way too long (even though the performers were great). Our favorite port of call was Philibsburg, St. Maarten, where we stayed on the beach the entire day. The island seemed to be very well kept. San Juan, Puerto Rico was also nice. We took a 1.5-hour sightseeing tour in a hop on hop off bus for $25 per person. Labadee, Haiti was a beautiful place, but our experience there wasn't authentic at all, because Royal Caribbean International pretty much controls the entire place from bars to entertainment to shopping. Also, the access to the sea wasn't very good due to too many small rocks that you could step on. But regardless of those few little things that could have been improved, our experience was a very good one and we would definitely do it again! Read Less

We chose Royal Caribbean cruise line based on our friends recommendation. Ship was awesome, with many swimming pools and Jacuzzi. Staterooms very spacious and very, very comfortable bed Main dinning rooms was on tree levels, the food was delicious, with a wide variety. Everything here were well orchestrated. We loved the Cruise director and his staff. The entertainment and activities were for all ages. Services were out outstanding. In Labadee- Haiti- my husband and friends they had a great experience with the Zip -line activity. However, I went on a walking tour of Labadee and this was very disappointed. I was disappointed because the local tour guide was just complying about the economic situation of Haiti, which make me very uncomfortable. We waited longer for more tourists to show, and he was very upset because they didn't. Instead of an hour tour, was extended to almost two hours standing in a hot sun. Read Less

Absolutely fantastic Balcony Room, Bar and food service and locations, and Casino Royale. The staff was excellent including bar staff, food staff, guest services staff, and my room steward Ahmad. The places to eat were plentiful and awesome. There were plenty of different items to eat and cruisers should be happy with the choices. The special food places we chose were Izumi, Chops Grille and Giovanni's Table were awesome and well worth the money. Two of them we had to change the times we originally paid for and there was no problem. I enjoyed the Casino Royale, Comedians, Headliner Show and the Ice Show. I did not enjoy Cats and suggested Royal Caribbean cancel that show and in its place a shorter and more interesting musical group with singer, ventriloquist or magician with it. Take the savings from CATS and put it towards the customers. Pricing of the bar package needs to be lowered. Would definitely take this cruise again ! Read Less

My husband and I booked Oasis of the Seas through Costco. We received a great package with them. We loved the cruise, the ship and the staff. We had three days at sea & three port days. We did wish we had a FULL day in Puerto Rico, we had people to visit and others did too. We felt rushed. Overall the cruise was HEAVEN. The food was delicious. Giovannie's was my favorite. We loved the spa. Disconnecting from the world, wifi, social media, &emails. was a mental need for both of us. The ship does have wifi but it is so expensive. Many families carry around walkie talkies to communicate which is a very smart idea. Board the ship was easy & welcoming! Exiting and pickup was messy and needs more finessing to end the cruise more nicely & not feel pushed out & so family can find you. There were lots of wheel chairs available if you needed one. They were very sensitive to anyone with special needs. There were many groups on the cruise. This was a romantic get away for my husband and I. It was truly a romantic get away to relax and enjoy our time away. We had a spa treatment together. We enjoyed fabulous gourmet dinners. We did try to get our picture taken several times but the Royal Carribean cut my husbands head off on all the pictures. Maybe they will be better next time. I wish we had a by-stander take photos like we did for other people taking photos. Read Less

The Dreamworks characters made a nice addition to an already fantastic week. I haven't sailed on the Oasis class before, but it was amazing. It was a full ship yet there were so many activity options that there were several times we asked ourselves where is everyone. The crew was great to and I felt very pampered and special all week. The service was great, and the ship is beautiful. Where else can you see an Ice Capade style show, a broadway musical, and a High diving exhibition on one ship. I have sailed with Royal Caribbean on numerous occasions and I am a Diamond Club member. They really take care of their frequent sailing guests and my wife and I are devoted Royal caribbean guests. we have already booked our next cruise. If I could have changed anything at all, I would have liked to have more time in San Juan. Read Less
