We had so much fun in terms of the entertainment and other facilities in the cruise ship. The food was amazing and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The ship was very family friendly. In addition, I really liked the idea of free of charge of childcare until 10 pm and even the after hours had a very reasonable price until 2 am. Although the group activity centers only had up to 17 years of age, they should have until 20 yrs of age. Suggestions: > Consider putting USB port charging station in every cabin. > Consider taking off Jamaica as one of the port destinations of Oasis of Dreams there was nothing to do around the area and the beaches specifically Montego Bay doesn't look good at all. As well it is not safe to go and tour around. >The group activity centers only had up to 17 years of age, they should have until 20 yrs of age. Read Less

We've sailed Oasis of the Seas about a dozen times. It's more convenient for those in Central Florida than going to Port Everglades or Miami. We are Diamond plus with over 480 cruise days on RCCL and have grown to appreciate the Crown and Anchor (C&A) amenities of balcony discount and use of the nice Diamond lounge on Deck 11. Lately, RCCL has offered exceeding cheap and not so great red wines as the C&A authorized red wine choices that are provided from 4:30pm to 8pm either in the Diamond Lounge or as part of the authorized wines in bars and the restaurants. Tilsdale Merlot and a Red wine with a pink label for Cabarnet are disappointing compared to past offerings. Shiraz used to be offered but no more. We mentioned these wines in our post-cruise survey requested by RCCL and to crew members who basically imply that this is a decision by HQ that they have no control over. Given that many cruisers are not C&A at the level who would appreciate this wine criticism, we still rated the cruise excellent because in all other aspects it was. We try to always do a New Year's cruise and because it is more expensive we try to book when we find a deal and hold it and check frequently before final payment to see if the price goes down and we can apply the lower price. This cruise was booked with paid gratuities as part of the deal through VacationsToGo but we often book directly with Royal if we find price/deal parity. Read Less

This was my first time on the Oasis of the Seas, but not my first time cruising or cruising with Royal Caribbean. We drove down from North Carolina to Port Canaveral the day before and enjoyed dinner at Fishlips the night we got down there. The embarkation process for the Oasis was one of the easiest I've experienced. From the time we parked to going through the entire embarkation process, to getting on the ship was maybe 45 minutes, at the most. Very fast, very efficient. We were in the first grouping of passengers allowed on the ship, as they called all the Pinnacle, Suites, Diamond Plus, and Diamond passengers in the first group. The ship, as a whole, was amazing. It rarely ever felt crowded, the service in the bars was fantastic, and the food in general was very good. We stayed in cabin 11607, which is a Central Park balcony. The room was a good size and the doors, when closed and locked, kept out about 99% of all the noise that came from outside. It was nice to sit and just people watch from the balcony when we weren't feeling ready for people but still wanted to be "out" of our cabin. Now just a few things to point out in regards to the ship. - My husband and I ate at Sabor on a sea day and that was probably the "worst", so to speak, service we had in any of the restaurants. The staff working was very friendly, the food was very, very good, and the sangria was amazing. The problem was with the amount of time it took for just our appetizers to come to our table. I think we waited 45 minutes before they even came out. Once the apps came out, though, the rest of the food followed quickly. Our waiter and the restaurant manage came over a few times and apologized for the wait times, though. The manager had even offered to take $20 off our total if we came back a second time (our lunch was complementary due to the cabin we stayed in). - On days there were big sales at the shops on board, or they were doing raffles, you couldn't walk 5 feet without being approached by someone from one of the store. Walk another 5 feet, and there was another sales person. It was basically this way from one end of the Royal Promenade to the other. There was no easy path to just get from one end to the other without being bombarded by salespeople or without having to go up a few decks to walk across and then come back down. - Service in the main dining room was very slow the first night. We had only 4 people at our table but it took us more than 2.5 hours to get through dinner the first night. However, subsequent nights that we ate in the main dining room, the service was much faster, so I know it was more of "first night jitters" so to speak. Also, the first two nights, the MDR was very slow to open. We were slated for the 730p dinner but on the first night, it wasn't until 745p-750p that they opened the doors. The second night, it wasn't as bad but it was still almost 10 minutes past time when they got everyone inside. Our ports were fantastic, as usual. Labadee - We had booked the Sandbar Island Getaway and were, but not, disappointed. Before we boarded the boat, we were told that there was a chance we wouldn't even get to visit the sandbar because the water would be too deep. Now, my husband and I both admit that we did NOT give it much thought to it being a sandbar and that's our fault. We expected a little more than what it was. It appeared as though the "sandbar island getaway" was basically the boat anchoring in the water and you got out in waist deep water and walked to the sandbar - and that's all it was. Just the sandbar. We did end up having to wave off, though, because of the water depth and we were taken to nearby Amiga Island to essentially do exactly the same thing. Because we hadn't booked the Amiga Island excursion, we weren't allowed to use anything on the island but we could get off the boat, swim around, sit in the water, etc. There were drinks for purchase on the boat as well. My husband and I both enjoyed the Prestige beer that was available. Falmouth - Our booked excursion was for the Blue Waters Beach club (escape?). It was only about 10 minutes from the port, as stated. It was a very clean beach, although the "beach club" was definitely on the small side. I'd say there was probably chairs for 150 people or so, maybe 200 but not much more. It's an all-inclusive but the mixed drinks aren't strong by any means. I understand that you don't usually get much when it comes to all-inclusive frozen drinks but even these were very weak by those standards. The food was very good. There was a lunch buffet of jerk chicken, curry chicken, beans and rice, and a few other things. Lots of music, too. When we first got there, within the span of maybe 5 minutes, we were approached by 6 or 7 different people trying to sell massages or hair braiding. It's a little annoying when you're approached by so many in such a short period of time. There's no water activities but you can go out in the water if you want to. All in all, we would probably go back. Cozumel - We took a taxi to Mr. Sanchos, our second visit. I recommend that place to anyone who's going to Cozumel. It's $55 per person for the all-inclusive option. Their drinks are much better than the AI in Falmouth. We spent our entire time there at one of the pool bars where we had a bartender named Julio who took very good care of us. Mr. Sanchos has a ton of things to do here. There's water activities, plus there's a number of other activities you can pay for. There's gentlemen who walk around for photo ops with iguanas or parrots. The beach is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. We had a fantastic time. In a nutshell, the cruise was fantastic and I am looking forward to sailing on the Oasis of the Seas again. Read Less

Large ship with lots to do, great food, service was wonderful, enjoy the size of the ship and how friendly the staff is through out. This is my second trip on the Oasis, needless to say we love it. The zip line on board was fun, the rock climbing wall, cool. Had deck 10 central park cabin, nice and quiet, room very comfortable, the bed was a king size and slept very well. We were on 3 excursions provide by Royal Caribbean, they were easy to get to them and the Dunn's Falls in Jamaica was something very well organized. Glad that I did the Dunn's Falls with the cruise line. It had a stop at Reggie Hill for food and drink then returned us to the ship. Not a bad deal for the pre cruise price I booked online, over all it was a lot of fun. I would recommend it. Read Less

Been on about ten cruises, mainly RCCL. Embarkation, noonish, was efficient, with just a couple brief stops in a smoothly-proceeding stroll. A beautiful ship that seldom feels crowded. Although not preferred, cabin was serviced twice daily, with requested ice unfailing delivered twice-a-day. Attended in a thorough, cheerful manner by SEAN007. Fun, attentive guy. Starboard Aft, 7702. Dining was a hugely anticipated activity and did not disappoint. Most alternative dining options were explored, including lunch at Park Cafe (maybe 4 visits), Windjammer (a couple breakfasts, a lunch or two), lunch and dinner once apiece in Solarium Bistro (skip lunch, just another small buffet), dinner at Sabor (much better than anticipated and under-visited), Giovanni's for dinner (absolutely stellar with string duo playing nearby, wonderful food, and hands-down best service from WILLIAM). Only visited MDR twice for breakfast and three times for dinner. Very acceptable quality food presented by a gracious dining staff. Special kudos to DAN and BEN. Always have dined at 8:30 and signed up for that, to be informed, after boarding, that 7:30 was the correct time. That information would have been appreciated when I was booking activity/show times. Chops for lunch at 1:30 consisted of a perfectly-prepared hunk of meat presented in a diffident manner by a fellow who seemed anxious for us to be gone--understandable, as 1:30 is the latest lunch is served. After scouring pre-boarding reviews about discontinuance of wine packages, I nevertheless asked several of staff if it was available. It wasn't until Thursday in Vintages that I discovered a placard advertising 3- and 5-bottle packages! This is after I had an interaction with the supercilious manager of American Icon, who assured me the wine program had been eliminated. I trundled back up-deck and acquired said package. I showed the purchased punchcard to said manager, who informed that that was not a wine package. Not only that, he stated that he thought I meant the "old" wine package when I insisted the availability of a punchcard was all the evidence I required that there indeed was a wine program. He then conceded that it might be a wine package, but it wasn't really because it was sponsored by a wine distributor. I insisted, once again, that he agree with me that it was a package. He begrudgingly did. I've been in most aspects of food service for around fifty years, and have never been argued with in a restaurant setting, much less on RCCL. All this to say, one may get a package (we opted for the 3-bottle) of serviceable Italian wine! Please be sure to inquire of the manager of American Icon about non-packaged package. I'd love to learn of his response. Shows were a pleasant diversion. Cats is too long for a cruise. We weren't able to attend any of the comedy shows in the limited seating venue. Did the perfunctory walk-through of tourist shops in each port, not much else as I was hampered by a foot injury. Overall, a wonderful experience we'd do again. Read Less

We decided to go on a cruise for our honeymoon and we booked through our travel agent. It was a decision we did not regret. As soon as we arrived at the port there was a queue to get on board. Even though it was quite a large queue it moved fast and we were only 20-30 minutes before we were onboard the ship. As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the royal promenade and how big it was. As it is our first time on a cruise we can not say for sure that other ships don't have this but from talking to other people on the cruise they all said this was the largest one they had seen. After a while walking around we decided to go to our room which was on the 7th floor. The room is small in width with only a foot or so wider than the length of the bed but you really don't need anymore. It is plenty big enough in length as it fits in a bathroom (small) king size bed and couch before you reach the balcony. The room was spotless and we had a greeting sheet with the firsts days entertainment written on it. We got one of these every day left on our bed after the cleaner (who was very nice and friendly ) cleaned the room every day. We got the drinks package and we are glad we did. It might seem a be a bit expensive to buy every day/night we easily had between 15 - 20 cocktails between us so it worked out very cheap. they don't go spare the alcohol in them either so it is good value. All the pools were very clean and had friendly lifeguards. The entertainment was very good but was aimed at an older generation. I respect it as most of the people on the cruise were over the age of 50. This was the only downside. We are in our early 30s and I would think that at least 95% of the people on the cruise were in the 50s or older and from America. While I have nothing against Americans it does get overbearing after a while. I would still give this cruise a 9/10 and the only negative I would give it is the older generation that was on it and the fact most of them were American ( which we found annoying) I will defiantly recommend that people go on the cruise but I might suggest going to the mediterian instead Read Less

We very much enjoyed the experience. I love that there is so much entertainment, and yet if you want quiet time, just go up to your room and sit on your own private balcony. I like very much that there was a variety of shows, so that we could go see a different one every night, and that they were good quality. I liked that we could reserve the shows ahead of time online, so that we had it all preplanned. Getting on and off the ship was easy. We found the cabins a little small, but for a 7 night cruise they were adequate. The dining was awesome. We did the anytime dining, and the first night was a little crazy, because of course everyone came at the same time, but we pre-reserved for the rest of the cruise and it was good. We had the same servers the whole time and they were awesome! The only thing I would suggest, is it would be nice to theme the dining to be a more cozy seating arrangement. Have the seating in crescent shapes so that you can be more intimate conversations and experiences with your partner. Sitting across from each other makes it much more impersonal, as you have to lean over your table and food all the time to have a conversation. The port excursions were great. We reserved one on line before the cruise, which we knew we wanted to go on for sure. It was overwhelming to book then all before the cruise so we booked the other 2 once we go on the ship, it worked well for us to do it that way. I was a little disappointed in the "Next Cruise" as they advertised up to $600. in savings and OBC etc. But that is only if you book for a cruise with the non refundable option. We took the refundable option as we booked 2 years out. Who knows what could happen in 2 years? We booked a balcony so that meant we only got $75 OBC or we could use it for part of the deposit. I felt so excited to be getting a $200, OBC to book my "Next Cruise" but then so disappointed when it turned out to be only $75. because we took the refundable option instead. Read Less

The Oasis of the Seas is an amazing platform of hospitality. The Port was super well organized with a really smooth embarkation and disembarkation. The ports were fun. We didn't get an excursion from the Ship, but rather took off and looked for a beach and a chair. Easy and relatively cheap. Big lunch, chair, swimming, beers all nice and cheap in a relative sense. The ship is just amazing...we had a blast! Great entertainment with a large selection. Make reservations for the entertainment, but also know that they take walk-ups to most of the shows. Also get the drink package early (at discount)....adding in not only the beer, wine and cocktails, but also the N/A beverage....A real value for the trip. The cabins clean and functional and dining great except for a hiccup on our first specialty restaurant...the dining experience was just wonderful...Great experience....it will be my go to cruise line. The Oasis of the Seas is a beautiful, big (huge) ship! There are so many things to do and so many ways to just relax and unwind. The specialty restaurants are wonderful, we did Giovanni's Table and Solarium Bistro (we could have done more, I suppose, but these were outstanding). We had My Time Dining, made reservations, and were seated right away. The food in the American Icon Grill was very, very good! There was never a "sorry, you can't have two" attitude and we surely ate very, very (maybe too) well while onboard. Entertainment aplenty on board! Come Fly with Me was great! Headliner show was great! The aqua show was spectacular!!! Cats??? Well, I found out I'm not a "musical" fan but the talent is OUTSTANDING at this show as well. Ports... Labadee is awesome (Dragon's Breath zipline - a MUST DO) -- be very careful in the "artesian" area/shops... VERY aggressive vendors Falmouth is pretty nice too, upgraded facilities... vendors very kind and helpful. Cozumel is... well... Cozumel! A great location and very hospitable (but it's a long way to the "Forum Shops" and main downtown shopping) We had a blast -- so much so we're booked on the Oasis for next year's Halloween cruise! Oh, the Halloween situation... WOW! What a great time!!! Lots of costumes, lots of great times to be had! Read Less

Oasis is an incredible ship. RCI has done an incredible job with Oasis. It is safe to say this was the best cruise experience we ever had. The service, food, entertainment, facilities, and amenities this ship offers was incredible. Pro's The dining and room service were excellent - as well was the quality of food. The entertainment on board (CATS, comedy, ice and water shows were without a doubt the finest collection of performers I could recall on a cruise) Well done RCI!!! The room cleanliness and attention to detail in the room by our steward Imade was INCREDIBLE. The cruise director (Jeffrey) and his staff (YOU ARE ALL AWESOME) helped highlight how much fun you can have on a ship which was designed for a real vacation The Captain informed us daily and sometimes hourly about what was going on (we had weather) he was also out and about. The workout facility was excellent, as well as the running tracks. The sports deck was excellent. The boardwalk and all the internal ship attractions - simple excellent Con's: Waiting in line at the Windjammer. (RCI you need to figure this out) there is no reason for it Can't think of anything else. For a ship this size, what a marvel. Read Less

We have wanted to sail on Oasis for years. It was just my husband and I. From the minute we stepped on the ship until the minute we left the ship we were treated like Royalty! Our stateroom attendant was wonderful! We did breakfast and lunch in Windjammer. Tons of food to choose from. In and out quickly to get our day started. Then we would walk off the ship in each port and do whatever we wanted to do. No lines getting off the ship nor were there and lines getting back on the ship. We would then head up to deck 16 to have Nigel in the mast bar make our drinks and then watch all of the different actives in the pool. Couple of hours there then time to get ready for dinner. Our waiter and Assistant waiter was great. Food was excellent and they catered to our every need. Next we headed to the casino with Bartenders Kirk, Steven, Pablo, and Mark. Love, love, love these guys! If we had a show scheduled we would grab a drink and head to the show. Once the show was over we were back in the casino to play and gamble. Leroy was awesome at finding me to refill my drinks when they needed to be. We left the ship with double the money we brought on. The casino was definitely nice to us. I highly recommend sailing on Oasis when you get a chance! Hopefully we will be back on here Sept 2019. 2018 has us filled taking our kids on a Royal Cruise in June. Read Less

My husband and I chose this cruise for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, our destinations were altered due to Hurricane Irma, but RC did a good job of keeping us informed. We were told about 3 weeks after Irma and 4 weeks before our cruise that there were going to be changes. I cannot say enough good things about the food, it was amazing, especially dinner each night. Our servers were fantastic and went above and beyond. Bartenders were good, but a little slow. I did order the "surf and stream" internet on the last day to catch a football game and it was virtually nonfunctioning, but it is my understanding that this was likely due to the weather (stormed on the last day). Our excursion in Labadee (Sandbar Island Getaway) was gorgeous. In Jamaica, we went kayaking, the staff on the trip was exceptional, but actual placed we kayaked, I felt, did not provide a real tropical experience, is was inland, almost felt like a medium sized lake as opposed to an ocean. Overall, very happy with the trip and will cruise with RC again in the future. Read Less

We went on this cruise with our best friends for their honeymoon and the cruise did not disappoint. The staff was extremely welcoming from the minute we stepped into the embarkation area, making sure we knew what to do at every area we were entering and made the process go smoothly. The ship has so much to do and see it is almost impossible to see and do it all. Thankfully cruising for 7 days you get lots of opportunity to check each area out. The shows were amazing, we saw the comedy show as well as the diving show, we also attended the "Quest" which is amazingly hilarious game show that all adults should attend if you want to see an extremely entertaining show filled with lots of laughs and adult content. The casino was lots of fun as well, although we didn't win any money it was still a lot of fun to be able to go down to the casino and try your luck at the slots and card games. Dining was great, if you stick to the main dining room for dinners there will be plenty of options to suit your every need. One of the nights we ventured out to the Mexican restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on the ship. Although I was not a fan of Labadee the snorkel safari was tons of fun and included complimentary Rum punch which tasted phenomenal. We also stopped in Falmouth Jamaica and did the Chukka Zip-lining with Adventure falls. The zip-lining was fun but recommend that you hydrate before the adventure since no water is provided and it takes a few hours to get through the course. Also "Adventure Falls" is not an actual water fall it is a man made fall with swimming pools at the bottom. The best excursion by far was the Cichen Itza ruins in Mexico, if you have to opportunity to do this I would highly recommend. Read Less

The Aqua Show and Come Fly With Me shows were simply amazing...we were in constant awe of the strength and flexibility of all members..especially the Arial artists. We booked this cruise for my Birthday and I was a little apprehensive, I didn't want to be the youngest there, I wasn't sure how I would feel being stuck on a ship for a week at a time and so on. All I can say is, when we got to the Port and I seen how HUGE the ship was I was in total shock, I just never ever thought the ship would be that big. Once we stepped on to the ship I was in total awe and admiration over it. The reception/lobby area is absolutely gorgeous! The sparkling staircases and all the buzz of everyone finally in holiday mode! I was made up. We purchased a drinks package and it was well worth the money, all the cocktails you wanted you could have! Amazing. I actually felt like I was on a really luxury holiday and I couldn't believe it! Staff - polite and professional. I was really sick with sea sickness the first two days, no fault of the ship at all but the sea was quite choppy then. The staff were so helpful letting me know whats best to eat, drink, take to help the sea sickness calm down. Our room attendant was called Ethan I think, we were Deck 14. He was so sweet and never passed us without asking how I was feeling and how the holiday was going! Amazing service. Even the staff in the bars were fantastic always keeping your drink topped up and even doing tricks! There was a guy in the bar in central park and he had us cracked up for hours each and every day!! Best bunch of people work on this ship!! Cabin - Spotlessly clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't really like was there was no iron in the room and if you needed to iron clothes, it was at a cost. Entertainment & Activities - Fantastic entertainment was on board. We didn't get a chance to go and see/do everything even though we were there for a week. Ice-skating, water shows, ice shows, golf, games room, flow rider, zipline I mean come on !! this ship had something for everybody. Dining - Food was spectacular!! Absolutely amazing, I would recommend going to the restaurant for breakfast for a fancy eggs Florentine. Amazing. The formal night was like steak and lobster - the food is seriously amazing! even grabbing a slice of pizza on your way to bed was something I looked forward to, thanks for the 10 lb extra though Oasis haha! Ports - please people if you are going to Jamaica and want to chill on a beach go to margaritaville!! it is amazing, the staff are such good fun and they help you have the best time everrrr!! I cant wait to go back already! If you contemplating this ship just go and book it! It is a fab ship with lots to do! You will never ever get bored. If you don't book this ship, you will regret it! I choose this cruise based on the ship reviews from family, friends and travel agent. Embarkations was smooth. However, we had a priority check in. If we had not had that, there would have been a really long wait. however, the ship lived up to our expectation. there was tons of entertainments and activities. All events were well organized. Dining was great, but especially the specialty dining...150 Central and Coastal Kitchen were excellent...pricey, but worth it. We were a little disappointed that we did not make it to Cozumel, but it could not be helped. We still hade a great time, but I wished we could have spent more time in Jamaica. Onboard entertainment, games and shows made up for the extra time at sea...we had lots of fun. And the Spa was staff were great. We had a number of different treatments and we were satisfied with all and we bought products as well Read Less

We chose this trip, this ship and this week, to celebrate my 60th birthday. WHAT A TREAT!! While the itinerary changed due to the tragedies in the Caribbean, this ship was wonderful and we had a great time! I had read reviews that it was "too big" or too many people or this concern or that, but we loved this ship and the crew! We have already booked another cruise, for January after next, so we can cruise with the Oasis again! This ship is like a floating city, with something for everybody and we can't wait to get back on this wonderful ship. The ship is big enough to "get away from" the crowds, and we found some nice places to relax and have our quiet bible study time. The pool area was more quiet than on the smaller ships (no movie blasting on the big screen, or the activities around the pool, complete with loud microphone) and we found nice lounge chair seating, out of the sun to relax. The solarium is very nice, but we enjoyed it in the evening, after the sun went down, as there is not a lot of "shaded" places and we prefer not to sit in the sun. The food on this ship was the BEST we have had on any of the RCI ships and we enjoyed all the dining options. The wait staff in the dining room were very good and we dined there every night. There are SO many places to eat (without any additional charge) you can try something every day and that is such a nice departure from the Windjammer. (The Windjammer was really good, but it is nice to have a lot of different options you don't get on the smaller ships. ) The entertainment was spectacular and we enjoyed a different show each night. The skaters and divers were really impressive. While there are around 6K guests onboard, this ship is so well organized, that all runs very smoothly and we were quite impressed! We disembarked from the ship in an orderly and timely manner. We were in our car, and driving home, at 7am. We will look forward to cruising on this ship as often as we are able. Thanks to all for a very memorable birthday trip. Read Less

-Great experience all around! There is Entertainment and activities for everyone, like shows, concerts, parades, parties, ice skating rock climbing, basketball, miniature golf, zip-lining and simulated surfing just to name a few. -The ship was beautiful (and that is truly an understatement) and massive, with 6,000 guest you would think that people would be on top of each other, but not so. -Service was awesome I did not meet one person that was not willing to help me when I needed it, and the did not seem put out at all. Some went above and beyond. -The cabin was nice a little be smaller than I expected, but we had a balcony was a nice size and I don't think I will ever cruise without a balcony. The balcony was a nice size and was very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was not bad at all. Also, ample space for clothes. -The included food was just okay, but the other restaurants where fabulous! Read Less

My wife and I and another couple who have never cruised before had the time of our cruising life. It's nothing like seeing cruise virgins being in awe. Their first time cruising not only with the best cruise line but on one of their best ships. This was our first time on the Oasis of the Seas but not our first time on an Oasis class ship. 3 years ago we cruised on the Allure and had a great time. So to answer one of your questions (smile) which is the better ship? They both were great and we had a great time on both. Cruising is what you make it you're on vacation and you should have fun!! Embarkation was smooth we had a Jr. Suite room 10636 which is an excellent cabin. It's right next to the owner suite and you have a bigger balcony so if you ever decide to do a Jr. suite on the Oasis I recommend this cabin. We sail through the embarkation but our friends had to wait since this was their first time but it was only about 20 minutes. Once that was complete we took our going on board pictures and in less that 5 minutes we were on the ship. The awe that was on their face PRICELESS!! (smile). When you enter the ship you enter on Deck 5 which is the promenade deck where you have Sorrento's the pizza parlor and the Promenade Cafe where you can get your specialty coffee's and tea and little finger sandwiches which comes in handy late at night after the shows (smile). Our Jr. Suite was huge and we had an excellent stateroom attendant Deni who took great care of us for the week. There are some who don't believe in tipping before the cruise start but I'm a firm believer is you tip them well on the first day there's nothing that you won't be able to request and not get it unless they absolutely can't do it. I got to know Deni and asked what kind of candy he likes and at the port's I made it my business to stop in and bring him back some of his favorite treats. I just think it's nice to be nice because they work so hard to make sure your vacation is the best. The suite has a huge balcony and a huge walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with a tub. We usually go for the large interior rooms but since it was just the wife and I we decided to do something different plus after this cruise we will be Diamond!! (smile). Can't say enough good things about the room and I'm sure the next time it's just the wife and I we will be trying for this room again. The entertainment well, everything was good except Cats the production. We really was looking forward to seeing Cats cause on the Allure we saw Chicago and it was excellent!! But Cats was not good at all and at intermission about an hour and 10 minutes into the show I would say about 95% of the audience got up and did not return. I felt bad for the actors but like they say the show must go on!! Outside of Cats everything else was great. The 2 comedians was very, very, funny. The Ice show Frozen in time was great and their special guest was great as well don't want to spoil it for you so i'm not going to say what or who it was and what they were doing. The Royal Caribbean production show was great Come Fly with Me, I recommend going to all the shows even Cats you just might like it and it you don't you don't have to stay the whole time (smile). We visited 3 ports which originally was not our itinerary, due to hurricanes Irma and Maria we did not got to St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Labadee, Haiti instead we went to Nassau, Bahamas and Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico. Place the wife and I have been but not our friends so we did the port shopping tour which I highly recommend going to port shopping talk with Rocky and Ericka. They give away great prizes and they also fill you in on where to shop to get the best deals. Because of these two ladies I have purchase 2 Phillip Stein watches and they're great!! No taxes and no duty charge you can't beat that. In Nassau we went to Fish Fry which is on the other end of Paradise Island for some bahamian food. We had Cracked Conch (Fried, LOL) with some Peas and Rice and Plantains and some good tea from Frankie's restaurant which I highly recommend. You might be asking why buy food off the ship when you can eat all you want on the ship, well you're on vacation and you want to try something different plus we've been there before and we love bahamian food so give it a shot if you're ever in Nassau. Ok, I know this is long so finally the food. YUMMY!! Our servers were Gerson and Kumar at table 434 1st seating and the Head Waiter Rasheda Hines took very very good care of us for the week. Outstanding service from day 1 to 7 even though one night we ate in the windjammer cause they had caribbean night up there and they served Oxtails and Pea's and Rice and Plantains and Jerk Chicken. Now if you've never had Oxtails you have to find out what night is caribbean night in the windjammer and go and try them, simply delicious. On the first sea day we had lunch in the main dining room and they had a shrimp risotto and a smoke potato soup with bacon and it was so, so good!! So at dinner that night I mention to our waiter Gerson and our Head Waiter Rasheda about how good the shrimp risotto was that on the last night at dinner we order our dinner and she brought two bowls of the shrimp risotto. She had the chef to specially make them for us!! How can you not love this kind of service!! Debarkation was smooth 1 little tip if you grab a porter you don't have to stand in the long lines for custom. I know you will have to tip them but it only took us 20-30 minutes top to get our luggage go through customs and in our car heading home by 8:45 am. Once again thank you Royal Caribbean for making my vacation experience EXCELLENT!! I'm already booked for 2 more sailings with Royal Caribbean and I CAN'T WAIT!! I hope this has help someone in making their decision about cruising on the Oasis of the Seas. Read Less

We traveled with the family, with the children and grandchildren. The place was lovely, the food was fine, the waiters who were with us at the dining table at the restaurant on the fourth floor were wonderful, taking care of everything we wanted. The staff member who worked in the room we lived in was charming. The room was always neat and clean. I loved the possibility of ordering coffee in the morning to the room, I liked to have coffee in the morning and drink it on the terrace in the early morning. I loved it especially because I got up early in the morning and it was nice to sit on the balcony and have coffee. The prices of the drinks are very high and the price is still added. This is a problem when you want to drink every evening or order a glass of wine at a meal. You have to lower the prices of drinking. Read Less

Our Mother had been on the cruise before and raved, She came with us, We were Very impressed with everything. We have sailed with you before, but on smaller ships. We thought with more guests that waits would be longer. This was NOT the case, We waited less, had No lines. Everything was thought out perfectly !!!! The dinning options were great. We like to eat breakfast and lunch in the dinning room as an option. We liked that you could be served or have buffet. We liked that buffet was not only in the Windjammer. Our waitstaff in the dinning room was the Best we have ever had on Any cruise, we have been on other company ships. Lets talk entertainment...WOW. We figured it out if we were to purchase the tickets to see the shows we did, that would be more than half of our total cruise price. The Boardwalk, Central Park, main shopping areas, you forgot you were on a ship, Just Amazing !!! Since we have been home we have Raved to everyone we have come in contact with. I have only 1 issue...our dinning was on the 4th floor next to the casino...I have asthma , that being said, the smoke coming from the casino going to and from dinner is Bad. I have no issue with smokers, but doors or a different area in the inside the casino that may not spill out into the hallway. We can't wait to return :) Read Less
