Food in main dining room was great disappointment and sometimes the best seller for cruising. Server was cold and flat affected.
Excellent ice and aqua shows.
Difficult to keep our 2 younger children (8 months and 2.5 years) occupied outside of the 1 play room's hours of operation.
Daycare staff seemed burnt out on babies, no charisma in their activities or communication with ...
The Oasis did some things very well. Such as the entertainment, the park, and the royal promenade.
We had a balcony cabin and it's bathroom is the deal killer for us. I was on submarines in the navy and never saw a shower that small. The counter in the bathroom was to small to lay out normal grooming materials. No lotion and no shower gel, but it was sold at an inflated price in the ships ...
We have cruised with Royal Caribbean approximately 8 times...VERY LOYAL. We have also just cruised with one other cruise line [Carnival] about three years ago. This past week we have noticed significant changes in the value prop that give us clear pause on whether cruising with RCCL is the way to go. In the past, we felt cruising was a good value compared to other types of vacations. Some ...
With 9 Princess and 5 NCL prior sailings I consider myself to be fairly well seasoned in cruising. This was our first sailing on Royal Caribbean. My husband and I booked it about 2 weeks prior to the cruise.
We booked an outside view guarantee and were very satisfied with our stateroom 8124. The room was fairly spacious (for a regular room) with a large round window and a full width built in ...
We gathered our family from across the country to spend Thanksgiving week together. The closest airport is in Orlando and it was a challenge coordinating everyone's arrival times and transportation. Lyft and Uber worked well for getting some to Port Canaveral. The shuttle fees were more expensive for the parties of more than two people. We stayed at the Radisson Resort at the Port overnight and ...
Chose this cruise to go Eastern Caribbean did not make that area..instead we went to Mexico, and Jamaica the two places I did not want to ever visit again.
Next we could not get tickets for comedy club on line ahead of time. I had tickets and then they got cancelled by Royal. On board we got tickets for comedy club but found out after waiting in line 30 min. that they had a computer ...
While this cruise has some positive points the overall negative points stand in my mind and won't allow me to recommend it to any others. Too much up selling from the minute you get on the ship: Central Park is nice, but only one very small complimentary restaurant. The others that line the park are all specialty restaurants. More than half of the daily events have a charge for them. If they ...
The Oasis of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship in their largest class of ships with capacity for 6,000+ passengers and 2,100 crew. It is a beautiful ship with many unique features. Central Park spans about 2/3 of the length of the ship on the 8th deck. It is an open-air promenade with trees and plants, real birds and is where 3 of the specialty restaurants are located. Vintages, the ...
While there is no disputing that the Oasis is a beautiful ship, certain aspects could not be overlooked. Cruising it seems has become all about the nickel and diming of the guest where more and more items are at an additional cost. Especially when travelling with children, it's not pleasant to have to shell out additional money on a constant basis.
Food: Not blown away, all of the meals in the ...
We cruise with family and friends which makes it more enjoyable. First the good. Or should I say great. The dining room staff; assistant waiter, waiter and head waiter, during our my time dining, where outstanding. They anticipated almost every request. They provided non menu items for sampling that where more flavorful than the menu items. Seeing the same wait staff every evening may seem boring ...
