Great Family Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Just got back from an 8 day New Years cruise on Oasis. My wife and I were in 1720 Sky Loft and our family was in 11196 Balcony. Embarkation was very easy as our Concierge Genie met us in the Suite Area and escorted us to our room at 10:45. Our Genie Smitha made all our dinner and show reservations. Also included was the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen. Coastal Kitchen was a great option ...

Positives Great staff to get us on and off the boat in Canaveral. It went so smooth. Amazing ship and crew. There were a couple of crew members that really made it special for our group. Vishal, Kent, Jemelito who took care or us at the Dinning table every night. Deni was such an amazing room attendant. Carla was so helpful at guest services. Cruise Director Drew and Activities Manager ...

I have been a loyal Royal Caribbean (RC) cruiser. I have had all (almost) great experiences with RC. I have always wanted to go on the Oasis or more resently the Harmony. The Oasis worked better with my schedule and what I had planned. I had planned to get my family and extended family together to go on a cruise together. So, after much planning (and I do mean a whole lot of planning over a ...

Wonderful Family Multi-Generational Cruise!

We chose this cruise because this date worked for everyone. We really did not want to go on one of the mega ships thinking it would be too big. We actually did not find the ship to feel much larger than the other ships we have cruised on. Once we figured out where everything was we settled into an enjoyable week. We staked out some chairs on the first sea day and were able to find everyone in ...

We decided to cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, as this is a bigger ship than the other RCCL ships we have cruised. There are definite advantages to the larger ship, as we had expected. What we did not expect were the disadvantages. One advantage was the opportunity to meet so many different people throughout the eight days of the cruise. There were people of all ages, from infancy through ...

This was our 1st RC cruise. We traveled with our two teenage children for our wedding our anniversary. We had a Ocean balcony cabin and our children had boardwalk balcony room. The cabins were small and the bathrooms were really small. The shower is hard to move around in.. My husband is 6'2" and that was really hard for him. I got a cabin for my kids that had a great view of the aqua ...

Went out of Port Canaveral, very organized. This port was as organized as Port Everglades. We got there about 11:00 was onboard in about 30 minutes but that was because we were too early, we had to wait. Room was ready at 1:00. We didn't do any excursions this time we just relaxed. We went to Labadee 1st, we sat on the beach and had a great time. I didn't like that the vendors were too over ...

Though this isn't my first cruise, it was the first for my husband. We went on this cruise as we had several family members that wanted to travel this ship and we were excited to see the Eastern Caribbean. The room we selected was just amazing (see the review below) and the ship itself offered many options of activities for all ages. From mini golf, basketball and court volleyball to surfing, ...

Since many of you have been on the Freedom and now wondering about going on the Oasis as it replaced Freedom at Port Canaveral. Even though there are some comments, this is a good cruise. We have not been on the Freedom for about 11 months, so below are some changes that we noticed. The Oasis leaves from Pier 1, which was also used for Freedom. We arrived about 11:30 and we were on the ship ...

I have traveled Royal Caribbean with my children and friends before and thoroughly enjoyed everything that was offered - the shows especially, Central Park - Park Cafe - the food was amazing especially the salads, Dazzle - for our dancing nitely and shopping on board. The entertainment was superb, I just can't say enough about them. The staff was very friendly - always speaking and asking if ...
