The experience of the Oasis of the Seas and the destination of the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St Marten was everything we hoped for.
The Oasis of the Seas was 3 football fields long but it was very easy to get around. We quickly learned all the locations of what we wanted to do on board. The entertainment was top of the line. We loved the Cats performance! We played cards in the card room some ...
Cruise was over all good, however some of the service in Coastal Kitchen was below average. Some of the staff were very rude, Bikes in your workout area are in need of repair. Our genie and cabin attendant were great. Bartenders were good but again Coastal Kitchen staff needs help. Three elevators were down when we were on board and Main dining for lunch which was buffet was terrible. It took ...
We were thankful we were on the Oasis, as the weather was quite rocky. I will always cruise with R.C., however, I am very disappointed on the photo shop, our pictures of my husband and I were taken in the dining room table, and when I went to see them, were not available. I checked up to the last possible day for them, but to no avail. Since this was my husband's first and probably only cruise he ...
We had 5 first time couples on this cruise. All had cruised previously, wanted to try the big ship experience. It was great. We had two Central Park Balconies and three oceanview balconies. Impressed with the size of the room, storage and balcony. Food at the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch was acceptable but not great. They actually totally closed it for two hours once between breakfast ...
We have friends that invited us to try a cruise on the largest ships. I generally like the middle sized ships best. They are large enough for nice amenities but small enough that crowds aren't an issue. Having said that, there are some things that I really liked about the Oasis. I think my favorite part was the boardwalk area at the rear of the ship. It's a very fun area where you can watch ...
Our overall experience on the Oasis of the Seas was good. We started out the first 3 nights were very rocky onboard due to higher than normal winds. I felt that a ship this large should have been able to navigate better through waves that were 5-6' swells.
The ship: Overall the ship itself was good. There was a lot of stuff to do onboard. The one thing I would have liked though would have been ...
Positives
Great staff to get us on and off the boat in Canaveral. It went so smooth.
Amazing ship and crew. There were a couple of crew members that really made it special for our group. Vishal, Kent, Jemelito who took care or us at the Dinning table every night. Deni was such an amazing room attendant. Carla was so helpful at guest services.
Cruise Director Drew and Activities Manager ...
The ship was fantastic. My family had a great time and everyone on the ship was very friendly. The shows were outstanding!! Best we have ever seen. But you do need reservations. My husband couldn't get into the comedy club because they were booked solid. They should have put it in a bigger place so more people could enjoy. The diving show was spectacular! I wasn't too fond of the cruise ...
Cruise terminal 1 in Port Canaveral is fantastic! On board the Oasis of the Seas, the food was plentiful and good (as usual). The size of the ship created inconvenient lines, occasional loss of food options (first day out, they ran out of chocolate chip cookies) and "Central Park" balcony was very noisy at times (couldn't hold a normal conversation, and and not very private (lesson learned). ...
This ship itself is one of the best. There is a lot to do, and different "spaces" to keep you entertained during the sea days. Down side of being "big" is that it is incredibly difficult to manage large numbers of guests who tend to want to eat at the same time. It is a cattle drive at feeding time. The wait staff is absolutely spent. They are tired and overworked. They really try to muster ...
