Terrible experience - very disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I had great expectation for this cruise ship and was very disappointed. First I thought that the food was not far superior to other cruises as I was expecting it to be thought it was just mediocre at best, we even purchased an upgraded dining package and still thought it was subpar food and service. Service in main dining room was definitely lacking. To make matters worse I ended up ...

We were on the fence about cruising to say the least. 2 kids under the age of 5 and a family that prefers peace and quiet, luxury in terms of vacations. The boarding process was the first indication this was going to be a long week. Lots of people, huge facilities, long lines. To RC's credit, the move through people pretty quickly and have the process down. You can tell they are used ...

Our first Cruise was RC about 12 years ago, thats why we choose them again, Oasis of the seas was great, the food, amenities, gym, cabin, all them great, The prices for the drinks are too expensive!! and if you like to drink a Lot of water as I do, you will be in trouble The dinner is great, in my opinion you don’t need the Speciality restaurant, we had giovannis so can attend to a show ...

Royal Caribbean offers so many options and exceptional service its hard not to continue to book with them. Port Canaveral was the best port we have ever sailed from. Easy to embark and disembark. The staff has always done a great job but this cruise they went above an beyond. We are looking forward to the next cruise on the Symphony of the Seas. The Dinning options are great we love a tradition of ...

I, my fiancee and her adult daughter, wanted to experience a cruise on one of the Oasis - class ships. We booked the Oasis of the Seas, and it was fabulous! I had never been on such a large ship before, and I was worried about how crowded everything might be, especially since I use a scooter. My worries were without basis, since the ship was easily-accessible and the staff we encountered were ...

The ship is huge and offers so many activities that we needed all seven days to explore everything. We enjoyed the perfect amount of rest and relaxation, while also enjoying activity. We did my time dining in the American Icon restaurant, and it seemed like one side had better service than the other. However, the food was always great, especially the desert. We always ate breakfast at Windjammer, ...

Everyone on the Oasis was kind and polite. The ship had so many activities that I couldn't get to them all. The shore excursions were fantastic. The dining on board was varied and the service was great. Our housekeeper knew us by name and always spoke to us when he saw us. Everyone was willing to go out of their way to make our experience special. The only annoyance was getting off the ship at ...

Our daughter just graduated HS and for her graduation and prior to College we decided to take a family (plus 1 - one of her best friends) on a 7 night cruise. After some research we booked a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing from Port Canaveral on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas leaving June 24. We booked by talking w/ RC directly and we decided since we haven't vacationed much ...

First, I read all I could about this ship prior to boarding. Please heed this warning... do NOT take your own extension cord or power strip. Your luggage will get flagged, you'll have to go to deck 3 to retrieve it the first day, and RCL will keep your cord or strip until you disembark on the last day. Not worth the hassle. You CAN however take 2 bottles of wine on board, uncorked, unsealed! ...
