Great time, perfect for the holiday

We chose this cruise to escape for the Christmas holiday. My family consists of 2 adults, 1 16 yo and 12 yo. who wont use the teen club. We loved the size of the ship and participated in LOTS of trivia at the Schooner Bar which gets very crowded! We didnt end up seeing a lot of the shows but really enjoyed Oasis of Dreams. My husband didnt want to "dress" for the dining room so we ate in ...

We decided to cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, as this is a bigger ship than the other RCCL ships we have cruised. There are definite advantages to the larger ship, as we had expected. What we did not expect were the disadvantages. One advantage was the opportunity to meet so many different people throughout the eight days of the cruise. There were people of all ages, from infancy through ...

My Family and I took our first Holiday cruise and loved it. The staff and ship were amazing as well as the ports of calls and all the activities lined up for us. We would definitely do it again. Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line that we will sail with, and they once again reminded me why we continuously sail with them. There were many activities to keep us all busy, and the staff ...

Royal Genie and Star Class

STAR Class with Royal Genie. It was awesome. Embarkation was fast. Go to Star Class area and designated person will escort you through security and check in. We went straight to suite WITH OUR LUGGAGE. It took longer to park the car than it did to check in. The genie made reservations to all shows, restaurants , and tours. Everything was included except popcorn, ice cream, and milkshakes. ...

The room was very nice and so was our cabin guy. He did a great job. We did not especially care for the food and the deserts was the worst we have experienced. The food on the smaller ships is much better all around. We think they try to do too much selling and not enough entertainment all around in the common areas like the smaller ships. Our outdoor show as cancelled and never ...

We just went on our first cruise. Honestly, we chose Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas because of the cruise dates, we needed to leave after our college kids finished finals but wanted to be back before Christmas Eve. Even though it was not planned, we are thrilled our first cruise was with Royal Caribbean. The embarkation went great, we stayed at the Homewood Suites with the cruise package, ...

Too many people, long lines, not the best itinerary, never saw aqua show

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Ship was very clean and organized. But too many people onboard which lead to long lines ; not enough frozen yogurt machines, Aqua show was cancelled without being rescheduled ...onboard entertainment should really be updated - it's the same entertainment as over 5 years ago. Staff were very nice and very helpful, Food in main restaurant was cold when it was served. The windjammer had better ...

Our favorite ship for families so far, absolutely love this ship and all the things for families to do together. There is so much to do and see, you don't even need to go anywhere! The ship gets a big thumbs up from us, the kids, and my parents that went with us. Downsides are: little to no seafood to be found on the main buffet or Solarium bistro. 1 fish dish offered in the main dining room ...

This was our 1st RC cruise. We traveled with our two teenage children for our wedding our anniversary. We had a Ocean balcony cabin and our children had boardwalk balcony room. The cabins were small and the bathrooms were really small. The shower is hard to move around in.. My husband is 6'2" and that was really hard for him. I got a cabin for my kids that had a great view of the aqua ...

Went out of Port Canaveral, very organized. This port was as organized as Port Everglades. We got there about 11:00 was onboard in about 30 minutes but that was because we were too early, we had to wait. Room was ready at 1:00. We didn't do any excursions this time we just relaxed. We went to Labadee 1st, we sat on the beach and had a great time. I didn't like that the vendors were too over ...
