Too many people on Royal Caribbean - Oasis

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We wanted a cruise that allowed many activities for our children aged 18-24. This ship is the largest that I have ever booked and our first Royal Caribbean line. It offered rock wall climbing, many pools, zip lining, flow riding, etc.I had hoped despite having rooms for over 6,000 people that this ship would be prepared for those numbers. However be prepared for limited offerings and lots of ...

Several of our family members cruise with Oasis every year. This was our first time on the Oasis and we loved it! The staff was amazing! Our Room Attendant was fantastic and the servers in Windjammer will stop and talk with you and if you take the time for them. Interesting to hear the stories of how they came to be employed with Royal Caribbean. We enjoyed the casino, although the change ...

We were first time cruisers and could not have asked for a better experience. Our waiters in the main dining room made our trip even better, they were fabulous. The entire crew was always fun, friendly and helpful. If you didn't find something to do while aboard you were not trying. There was tons to do at all times of the day, or you could just relax at the many pools/spas! The drink package for ...

Royal Caribbean cruises are the best

Great service, outstanding entertainment, and the food was great in some respects and only so-so in others. The bartenders are happy to make any drink you request. Chops Grille is a must for a memorable meal and dining experience. All the entertainment was top notch. Some of the furniture in the cabins is showing its age and should be replaced to keep the rooms from looking run down. We had an ...

Beautiful Ship

We were a family of 5 with kids ranging from 11-18. I have to say that the ship was beautiful and all of the common areas clean and fun to be in. Our room was a balcony room and much smaller than we anticipated. Actually, the rooms were not as nice as we expected either. The carpeted hallways where the rooms are were very stained and kind of gave a dirty feel and the beds were hard as a rock. ...

RCI used to be our favorite

Best of times and worst of times. Security treated us like captives. My underage son was secretly filmed by security in the presence of both of his parents and accused of underaged drinking, which he did not. He was also accosted by security on another occasion with the same accusations. BTW, HE DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL, RCI. My wife was also filmed when she later approached the same security ...

This was our 11th cruise and our 7th with Royal Caribbean. We are Platinum members, almost Emerald, yet we are thinking of switching to another cruise line. We couldn't wait to sail on the Oasis, but by day 4 of our 7-day cruise, we couldn't wait to get home. Embarkation at Port Canaveral is handled smoothly. The lounge opened at 9:30, but boarding for all passengers began at 11:30. The special ...

Cruising on a large ship.

We were on a group Bible study cruise. We have discovered we don't really like cruising on a large cruise ship, but the staff was exemplary the only complaint we have is the strength of the coffee. It was so strong that we could not drink it. I suggest a medium blend. Our group enjoyed the use of the Conference Center and the Dazzles Room. Central Park was great; we were on Deck 8 on the ...

This ship has everything ! Great entertainment! The Aqua theater and Ice Rink shows are fabulous! They also offered additional dive shows in the aqua theater and strings/piano duo that played in central park each evening were amazing. The food in my time dining was a bit disappointing compared to previous cruises. So many venues to eat at and entertainment is endless. Sabor- the mexican ...

Cruise Good - Food Bad

I was very disappointed in the food. The taste and quality was below average in my opinion. I never used a salt shaker more than I did on this trip. The beef was tough, the lamb was overdone and fatty, the salads were totally water logged, the dressings were tasteless and watered down, the lobster was dry and tough, the vegetables were boring, tasteless and repetitive and the escargots were made ...
