We chose RCL Oasis because we wanted to experience the large shipliner and all its amenities. The public spaces are beautiful and generally well kept. The Balcony cabins are very small compared to balcony rooms on any other ship. However our Accessible Family Balcony had everything plus more. This room rocked and made our trip expereince wonderful. At Labadee they even provide wheelchairs for ...
Decided to give Royal Caribbean a try and sailed on the Oasis of the Seas the ship was nice, but VERY BIG. Stayed in cabin 14172 not impressed!! The bathroom did not outlets to plug items in i.e. shaver or hairdryer. The room could have used aliittle more attention as far as cleaning. Not vacuumed the whole time. Embarkation was really smooth and quick considering the amount of passengers. I was ...
My husband and I and our two daughters, ages 7 and 11, enjoyed our spring break cruise. This was our first time on a ship as large as Oasis. We've sailed Disney before, and my husband and I have done two previous Royal Caribbean cruises before, although on much smaller ships.
Cabin:
Our cabin was 9610, a balcony room with a pull-out couch. The room was fine, other than we all had a very ...
We chose Oasis because we wanted to see "the really big ship." We sailed with my parents who had only ever been on Disney cruises before this one and they really enjoyed RC too.
Embarkation was awful. We stood in a massive line outside for over an hour before we even got into the main building just to wait another 30 minutes or so. This is our major area of disappointment that I hope RC ...
We wanted to try the larger ship and see what it had. We had two college spring breakers, a 16 year old and an 11 year old with us. The embarkation process was a little bit daunting. The lines are huge and they do take a while to go through security and process. But once you are in, then it is ok. The bad part, is if you have any changes to make in your dining, or reservations you want to make ...
We travel on the Oasis of the Seas with our AAA Cruising Group - Rocky and the Rollers! We loved the entertainment and would travel with them anytime! We love the ship! The ice rink is our dance hall and is perfect! Love the Food, Love the entertainment, Love the room and loved the dining staff and cabin service staff - they were very attentive.
The bad thing was that we missed our first ...
We choose the Oasis of the Seas because it sails out of Port Canaveral and we wanted to see what the largest cruise ship in the world was like to sail on.
Embarkation: We had priority boarding but the woman that gave us instructions when we got off the bus told us we had to wait in the long queue like everyone else. Of course we didn't know that there was separate line so we did. I give them a ...
We loved a lot of things about this cruise. The public areas are quite beautiful, especially Central Park and the Solarium. Despite the large number of passengers, many public areas seemed spacious and relaxing. The ship is huge, but we did not have any trouble traversing it end to end by going through Deck 8 (Central Park) or Deck 5 (Promenade).
We found some truly outstanding staff, and our ...
We chose this cruise primarily because of the boat’s features. The boat was fantastic. Loads of activities like ziplining and “surfing”. There were also lots of group activities.
ORLANDO
We’ve been to Orlando several times, so we embarked soon after our arrival in Orlando.
EMBARKATION
The lines were long, but moved fairly quickly. Printing out your boarding pass saves loads of time. ...
We had a great experience on the ship. Food was great, except for Giovansi's. Izumi was outstanding but pricey. Due to weather we were unable to stop at Labadie and did not get another port day to replace it. The beach we went to in Jamaica was small, crowded and full of seaweed. The Appleton Rum Estate tour was good and lunch there was outstanding.
Cozumel was wonderful. Our original tour was ...
