Ist time on oasis. Overall a excellent cruise with a few niggles and disappointments. Cabin central park balcony 12229 which had an extra large balcony. Room good size and lots of space for two people for 1 week. Bathroom good size and shower good pressure. Food in mdr very good, had the 3 night dining package and probably the biggest disappointment especially chops. Steak arrived ...

Was Pleasantly Surprised

I've been pretty loyal to RCCL for some time now, but this was my first time on Oasis. I was impressed, even by the standards I've come to have for them. We tend to drive down and stay in a hotel the night before (Raddison). Our hotel stay includes parking and a transfer to and from the ship, which is nice. I definitely recommend flying or driving down the night prior to your cruise so that you ...

We have traveled 5 times with RCCL and were impressed with the service, food and accommodations on this ship. The dining staff at the 3rd deck main restaurant were outstanding as well as the housekeeping staff.. The embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and well-organized. We were impressed with the Port of Cape Canaveral and nearby Coco Beach where we took advantage of a "snooze and ...

Pros: You can always find something to do - Pool and hot tub areas are always nice. We like the variety of food choices. Lunch in the main dining room has a lot to offer. buffet, menu or both. Izumi for wine and Sushi rolls - The hibachi had excellent food. Very happy with Giovannis and had the best server. With the exception of the filet. Vintages was very nice for quiet ...

we chose this cruise especially for the shows. we were not disappointed. They were amazing. The talent skill costumes all were excellent. We loved all of them. Yes, you have to reserve ahead. Do not miss any of them. The casts work hard. This is a wonderful experience. It's part of your cruise price so schedule all of them. Our cabin was very nice we had a superior balcony. It was clean and ...

Very good, but...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

My family ( wife & twin 21 yr old daughters) just got off the Oasis of the Seas a few days ago. We sailed out of Port Canaveral, Fl and traveled to Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. The ship is enormous and beautiful. Even though it holds 6,000+ passengers, it doesn’t feel crowded because it’s so large. We had a balcony stateroom on deck 12 ...

Great cruise but ripped off in Cozumel

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We had a very bad shopping experience in Cozumel Mexico. It was not the fault of RC. This is just a warning to everyone to use extreme caution while shipping and DO NOT shop at the jewelry store Planteria Daniela. It is one of the first jewelry stores you'll come across on the far right side of the shopping center in the newly built area. They claim to be an RC approved store, which they are not. ...

This ship is amazing. Pros - Service in dining rooms and stateroom attendant was great. - Central Park is beautiful - Water show was fantastic - Friends of ours got married onboard. The wedding service, staff, food etc were great. - Best filet mignon, could cut it with a knife at Giovanni’s. Cons - These are all minor issues and wouldn’t deter us from booking ...

Great first cruise experience, but not perfect

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I've chosen this cruise because of the great variety of activities inside the ship and on shore. Broadway Cats show and kids pool were decisive for my choice. Embarkation was quite slow, but desembarcarkation was impressively fast -long but steadily moving line. Labadee is a piece of paradize: wonderful beach, fun activities for the whole family and good service and food, although lunch was ...

Celebrating Retirement

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I wanted a cruise to celebrate my retirement for 2018. We booked the cruise early to get a nice room. Once we booked, we anticipated a very good time. Upon arrival, the lines were long to get into the check-in area. Once we got to our room, we unpacked and got started on the activities. The room itself was good however, there was a strong urine/sewer gas smell in the bathroom. Our attendant ...
