Great cruise, entertainment could have been better

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We chose this cruise ship because we wanted to try a lot of onboard activities. The good: -we loved our “indoor balcony” that overlooked Cental Park. Beautiful plants and often music -we loved the food. Sorrentos has the best cruise ship pizza ever. We had heard that the Windjammer was crazy, but it really depended on the time. It usually wasn’t too bad and it had a great selection of ...

Great cruise -- lots of technical difficulties with entertainment, though...

This cruise makes us Diamond Plus members. This was our first time on Oasis, which we chose in order to experience a ship of this size. The ship is beautiful, and in spite of holding over 6,000 passengers, we never really felt crowded. The elevators were better than other ships that I have been on. Claudine in the Diamond Lounge is a gem! She was so helpful and cheerful, happy to answer any ...

My wife and i wanted to cruise to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. This was our second cruse, but first with Royal Caribbean. We paid over 4k for the stateroom, for 8 days. We paid extra for a 3 nights premium dining plan (like a steakhouse or Italian), and wifi. The wifi pricing is the most absurd thing ever. $17-$21 USD per day for internet. I used it so I could communicate with ...

This cruise ship is perfect for families. I sailed with my 2 daughters and 7yr old grandchild. We could barely get the child out of the kids club. She loved it. We adults, always found something to do when we were not on my balcony relaxing or reading. The complaints I have is that the alcoholic beverages were much too expensive and a beverage package is not cost effective for me. The balcony ...

Great Boat, Get a Good Cabin

We booked room 7442, which is an interior interior room. I will never book another stateroom like this one! It felt like going into a dungeon. It was loud and my wife and I could hear every time a toilet flushed. We were booked next to a group that was traveling with 20+ teens from another country and they were loud, slamming doors constantly, and didn't have proper adult supervision (this is ...

This was our second time in the oasis class ship! However for overall nightlife and partying the smaller ships tend to be better! Great shows on this class of ship! Cats was amazing and we actually saw it twice!!! Over all would recommend! Our cabin was a Central Park balcony cabin that unfortunately was next to a screw service area that ended up very loud at various times! On the bright side of ...

Oasis of the Seas 7 Days

Nice big ship. 6500 people and didn't feel crowded. Central park and boardwalk areas were very nice. Rooms were ok size for a ship. Several places to eat, but most came with a cover or up charge per guest. Royal did offer packages for dining experiences, but they were a little high and probably not practical with people with extra family members. Only real issue I had was the price of drink ...

We did a family cruise with extended family. It wasn’t my favorite ship out of all the royal Caribbean options. I have only cruised with Royal so I have nothing to compare it too. The main dining room food was definitely the best food on the boat and was exceptional. I wouldn’t do any specially dining options, not worth it. The windjammer was the worst experience I’ve had on any of the ...

This was my first time on RCL in a long time and first time ever on an Oasis class ship. We had a great vacation! Embarking and debarking were fast and efficient. The ship while older, was very clean. Most employees were friendly although we did meet some grumpy workers. Happens on every ship. We had an amazing room steward. He did an awesome job keeping our room tidy with 4 of us in a ...

Traveled with a friend and our teenage kids, because there is something to do for everybody, and the food, as I have food allergies. Service and food used to be impeccable, and it has declined compared to two years ago, but it was still good. Kids were happy with a variety of things to do. Excursion options for Labadee and Cozumel were a bit disappointing, more so because the two we ...
