Loved the ship and staff but the food was less than expected. I sent back a few dinners as I just couldn't eat what was provided. The quality of the food was average at best. We had some allergies with our group, gluten and dairy and they were very attentive to the menu for these persons. We also were overcharged for bar drinks on a couple of occasions. This is extremely disappointing as the drinks are already too expensive. The automatic 18% gratuity added to everything purchased is heavy handed. The cruise automatically charges a gratuity of $13.50 per person per day for what they claim is for the restaurant and cabin persons. We were not made aware of this and when it shows up on your room bill, its quite shocking. As I was traveling with my family of 6, this amounts to ~$700, a little steep don't you think. Read Less

T HE OASIS OF THE SEA seems to have fallen in between the cracks. the ship is showing wear and tear we sailed on her 4 years ago. She was spotless and the staff wonderful. This time the pool deck was dirty, ice cream spills were not attended to and the plastic glasses were everywhere. Food in the main dining room was good and our waiter Leonardo was great. Our room steward was also very good. We took our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter and she enjoy the kids pool and kids activities in the kids area very much. She was asking to go back even after dinner. she loved the kids splash area. And loved the characters on board and especiall the diving and ice skating show. Overall the ship was a disappointment, We really built it up to our family and it was not as good as it was 4 years ago. Read Less
