I like that Cruise Ship (Oasis of the Seas). Plenty of amenities and lots to see and do. We were always at the Boardwalk and Central Park areas. Restaurants are A plus. All crew members in restaurants including the Windjammer , on deck and State rooms are very pleasant , helpful, friendly (smiling) courteous .The foods met me and my family's demands & expectations from our first day to our last ...
We chose this ship for our Christmas gift to each other. And Port Canaveral is only 45 minutes away from our house, and the good reviews it has received on, Cruise Critic.
This ship is huge! if you have any mobility problems this is not for you! Walking stem to stern is 1,800 feet make this trip just for your meals and you’ve walked 1 mile.
Shipboard activities, any activity, that ...
This is my 3rd time on this ship and it never disappoints. Everything was great from the service to the food. Both checking in and checking out of the ship went fast and smooth. I came on this cruise for my 21st birthday with my family and enjoyed every minute of it. There's so many things to do on this ship so you can never be bored. And they have a huge variety of food for everyone. My family ...
This cruise is for third world cruisers only... There are plenty of hot dogs and hamburgers served at every meal so you will be too full to get to the 'decent' food !!! (they serve them at every lunch and dinner!! ) They charge 8.36 for a 16 oz Bud !!. The food in the WindJammer is so-so - and many times, you have to wait to be seated in the buffet area! The Dining Room service is ...
I chose this cruise for the price- thought I was getting a good deal
1st day I got a note from ship stating that since I hadn't picked a time for "My time dining" they had set me up complimentary at the Solarium Bistro. When we went to the Bistro it was full so wound up going to the buffet for dinner. When I tried to make reservation for the main dining room later, I was told it was booked for ...
Overall positive experience, Great service in staterooms. Biggest problem when comparing to last year was a noticeable decline in quality of food and dining experiences.
Izumi, for its high price tag, used so much butter no one in our group could really taste anything other than butter. Other than the Sushi, which was excellent, the Hibachi itself was not worth the extra money
Johnny ...
This was my seventh Royal Caribbean cruise, second on the Oasis of the Seas. I love this ship! Although, I haven't been on Quantum Class yet.
The staff, food and entertainment were fabulous. Shout out to our wait staff: Richard Pottinger and Febrian Potama--great guys, very attentive. Hope to get them next cruise--which will be next Thanksgiving.
I do, however, have some minor ...
This was our 4th trip on Oasis; we LOVE the ship and love that she is in Port Canaveral. Still little things about RCCL that bother me as a Diamond. There continued use of HIDEOUSLY loud and hardly understandable announcements from the cruise director, are flat-out Painful! And, the bands at the pool are also so darn loud you cant even talk to the person sitting next to you; We do NOT like it! ...
Positives: Food was good in the Windjammer Marketplace, much improved. Food was very good to excellent in the dining room and other venues around the ship...and there are plenty to choose from. Embarkation was fast and efficient; cabins were available at 1:00 and we had our luggage by 2:00. Balcony Cabin on Deck 10 was clean and the cabin attendant kept everything nice, although my husband and ...
With 9 Princess and 5 NCL prior sailings I consider myself to be fairly well seasoned in cruising. This was our first sailing on Royal Caribbean. My husband and I booked it about 2 weeks prior to the cruise.
We booked an outside view guarantee and were very satisfied with our stateroom 8124. The room was fairly spacious (for a regular room) with a large round window and a full width built in ...
