Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom (GS) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: November 2018
Cabin was great! We had a bathtub and 2 sinks in the bathroom. A long ocean view balcony that seemed very private. Room was spacious. We splurged on the suite because we had 3 women in our room- and we all needed our space.

Amazing Family Trip : Cabin 8260

The size was AMAZING. So much storage . I found the Decour to be outdated . Things were not in the best condition but the space and the view made up for it .

Our Grand Suite was perfect for my family of 4. I do suggest if you have people using the sofa bed, have them turn it back to a sofa during the day. It made a big difference in the feel of the room. There was ample storage space and hangers. There were even 2 large medicine cabinets and large drawers in the bathroom. I didn't need any additional storage. The suitcases fit under the bed for storage. Our balcony was the perfect size. With 2 chairs by the small table and 2 chairs with footrests, all 4 of us could enjoy at the same time. The bathroom was larger than I was expecting. Two people could easily be in there at the same time. It is a bit of a large step to get into the tub/shower combo but the threshold of the bathroom is not very high. For our itinerary, we were on the correct side of the ship. We were on the side towards the pier when docked. I know that won't always be the case if there are multiple ships in port. This was the perfect room for my family and I would book it again. The cabin we had was perfect. A king size bed and a sofa bed that the room attendant prepared for our granddaughter every night and closed it up for us in the morning. The room is nice and roomy. The bathroom is big with 2 sinks. The only thing that was difficult was the bathtub was really high and difficult to get in. The balcony was big with 2 chairs, 2 lounge chairs and 2 tables. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The attendant kept our room very clean and got us anything we wanted. Read Less

The bathroom is spacious, has a tub, two sinks and lots of storage. Our stateroom attendant provided the "invisible service" we appreciate: place the "Make UP Room" sign on the door when leaving for meals and the room is clean when we return. The internet package for the entire cruise is also a nice feature and comes free with a Grand Suite. Read Less

Cabin was great but a bit noisy at times. It was right below the activities deck so we expected a little noise from there but quite honestly it sounded like most of it was from children running the halls. The sink plumbing was in dire need of an update. The handle for one of the sinks actually fell off our last day. The shower was very nice but the water is to hot even at it's lowest setting.
