CUBA & KEY WEST were great! Stay away from the "SUN"

No Lobster at all. Was told they do not serve it any longer Martini at dinner only on the 8th floor. Why would I not be able to get a drink at dinner? Insane No Make up mirror available No shrimp cocktail anywhere. Was told they will not serve it any longer. Unacceptable Wait staff just plain not accommodating to my wants and needs in main dining room. Room floors were worn and ...

Apparently, being from the Northeast, I was unaware of a delightful thing known as a “swarm of love bugs”. They were positively everywhere. Inside, outside, in staterooms and dining rooms. Some even survived for several days. Needless to say, the first day was shockingly bad. I am not sure what could have been done differently, but this was outrageously bad. Key West is a lovely place. ...

Our 21st cruise, 3rd on NCL. Terrible Service.

This was our 21st cruise, so we are not novices. We also aren't overly demanding and understand that things won't always go as smoothly as we would like. We chose this cruise for the itinerary...5 nts with 36 hours in Havana. This was our 3rd NCL cruise, but the last had been over 10 years ago. We had heard that the NCL experience had declined significantly, but were shocked at the extremely ...

Diagnosed with Leukemia so figured I should check off some bucket list items quickly, always wanted to see Cuba, the Bahamas and Miami and figured this would knock out them in one shot. That being said, Cuba was beautiful but could've used more time there. Miami was nice, a lot to see and do. The Bahamas, well, not so great. Come to find out it was owned by Norwegian and like the cruise ...

We selected this cruise because it went to both Cuba and Panama Canal. Overall we enjoyed the sailing and some of the ports, but the cruise line, the staff, the ship and meal service were all disappointing. After booking, the flood of emails to upgrade, promote, and generally aggravate were endless. The constant gotcha extras which ran up the total cruise cost several thousand dollars a big ...

I know this is an older ship, but I wasn't expecting to have to endure toxic fumes from adhesive as they were laying new carpeting on the main stairs. They also had to access our cabin balcony to paint it, which left the balcony inaccessible while scraping and painting the balcony. I never met our cabin steward and I never encountered anyone who I felt went out of their way to be friendly and/or ...

I originally chose the Norwegian Sun for the 10 night Panama Canal cruise because I really wanted to go to the Panama Canal and I had been to a lot of other ports in the Caribbean but none of these ones . Prior to this cruise I have been on it many other cruises in different cruise lines.this is my second time sailing with Norwegian, I’ve sailed with princess four times, carnival wants and, ...

We are an active couple in our mid 40’s and this was our first cruise (and I’m pretty sure it will be the last one), which turned out to be a quite disappointing experience for us. THE PRICE: We were unpleasantly surprised by the additional “service fee” (added more than $200 to our cruise price) which NCL hit us with, when we got onboard. We found out about that fee on the last day at sea – ...

Norwegian Sun expensive cruise to Cuba

The ship just a mid side "refurbished" cruise ship had much to be desired. The cabin had the best air conditioning on any cruise that I have ever been on, the room was smaller for a balcony room than other lines. The food was awful just a repitition of the same things except with a different sauce or spice. Entertainment and activities was just mediocre. The service however was excellent and some ...
