Mid-Ship Balcony (BA) Cabin Reviews

The cabin was fine. The only problem I had was not having any kind of communication with the stateroom attendant. One time we asked him for coffee and he never brought it. It was the only time we asked for anything since he never ... Read More

I loved how big this cabin was compared to the NCL Bliss. My only gripe about this cabin, cabinet space to hold clothing. Wish there was one more cabinet but I made do with what I had.

Clean, well appointed, and clearly recently updated. The balcony was twice the size of those on the Breakaway. The bathroom and shower are a little small, but I'm a big dude and it wasn't a problem even for me.

The room configuration provides great storage, but the bathroom is very small. The circular shower is the smallest I've seen; 32 inches in diameter! The path at the foot of the bed is too narrow for luggage. You have to lift your luggage over your bed to get it to the other side of the room. We did enjoy the balcony view. There was a plumbing leak inside and outside our room door when we arrived and it was not fixed until the last day of the cruise. After I complained about the soaking wet carpet, they placed large noisy blowers both inside our room and outside the door the entire cruise trying to dry the carpet. There was no offer to move us to another room or any compensation. Read Less

Cabin was port side, mid-ship. Very clean was my first impression (and stayed the same throughout the cruise). Bed was firm, not saggy. The sofa was also firm. Did not sink to the floor when you sat on it. It did not have arms (it does let out for a small bed). Plenty of hangers, also drawers and shelves. Stored both suitcases out of the way under the bed. Small coffee maker in the room but terrible coffee! Enough to get you going. Balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. A/C really cold when down all the way. Had to turn it up. One of the bad things about it is the vent blows right on your face in the bed. Bathroom seems a little smaller on floor space but all you really need. The round shower is really small. Soaps, shampoos included in dispensers. Our room steward was very nice. We asked to be keep with ice and he did. Loved the school of fish swimming toward the front of the ship, on the carpet. Helps you know which way is forward. We were on deck 10, almost under the pool. We could hear some late night partying. Also, when crew is moving deck loungers. Read Less
