These Mini-Suites sleep up to four guests, with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed as well as a sitting area, private balcony, luxury bath with shower and additional bedding to sleep two additional guests. Because these are mid-ship Mini-Suites, you'll have easy access to everything fun and exciting on board.
We enjoyed this cabin. We had a great steward and the cabin size was perfect for us. This is a starboard cabin and I think a port cabin would have been a little better than this cabin for viewing. The one issue is that every morning and some evenings we heard a lot of table and chair moving noises above us on floor 12 as we were under the outside grill seating area. We thought floor 10 would have been quieter. Read entire member review >>
Described as a Mini Suite, this was, to all intents. a large balcony cabin. The bed was very comfortable. There was adequate drawer / shelf space, though the internal shelving in the wardrobe was difficult to access, as your hanging clothes got in the way. Not particularly well-designed. The dressing table was well provided with electrical outlets including a UK 3 pin socket. The TV pivoted to allow you to watch from the bed or the sofa. There was a minibar and coffee maker provided, which our cabin steward replenished daily. The larger than average bathroom had a bath with shower over and a separate toilet compartment. Our cabin steward was cheery, helpful and effiecie.nt Read entire member review >>
As I stated above, the cabin décor was a little tired, but was comfortable and always clean. I loved the in-room coffee pot. The bathroom had a good layout and the shower had a door instead of a curtain. I wish they would have had CNN for news coverage on the TV. The closet was large with a lot of hangers, but the shelves in the closet were hard to get at. The balcony was spacious compared to the new cruise ships and we enjoyed sitting out there, plenty of room for two people. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very spacious and located in the Mid Ship area so we had no problems with sea sickness. Everything In the cabin worked and the washroom was very well laid out the shower worked perfectly. The colour combination of the cabin was pleasing to the eye. The balcony was sufficient and very clean. The TV could have been larger but I know that it is and older vessel but it worked okay. Our room steward Christopher Rodriguez was exceptional and looked after all our needs and kept the room exceptionally clean. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was a good size and we felt that for the 3 of us it was fine. I don't think that 4 people would have been as comfortable as we were but it was fine for us. We loved the balcony for sure. Read entire member review >>
Loved this cabin, it was larger than what I expected for my first cruise, my mother took very good care of me. The beds and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The balcony was beautiful and I loved going out on it every morning and every night. Read entire member review >>
The suite was fine. I liked that the bathroom had a tub, more space if your were showering. The balcony was shaded, but that made the balcony hotter and more humid than the other Mini suites in our party which were aft and more open. Above our balcony was the jogging track, when you could hear thumping occasionally and chairs being draggged around. Read entire member review >>
Room 11150, mini suite with balcony. Very comfortable room, good size and terrific beds. Good sized balcony. Quiet. Full bath with bath tub and shower. Good location. Only negative is tight access to closet storage area. Otherwise pretty perfect, highly recommended. Read entire member review >>
My friend said that our cabin had the largest bathroom from any of her previous cruises on more expensive cruise lines (11600). Although they describe the beds as "queen-sized" when pushed together, I believe that they were actually king-sized.
There was space in the refrigerator to put some beverages. Also, we brought a coffee maker with us.
The cabin was quiet. The only complaint could be that sometimes when on our balcony smoke would waft towards us from other guests. Certainly this is not the ship's fault.
We were never disturbed by hallway noise, etc.
Our suitcases fit nicely under the beds.
My only complaint would be that the closet is very dark and needs light! Read entire member review >>
Our room was on Deck 11 of the Star. Closets sufficient; nice balcony w/great view; very clean; well-maintained.....tremendous attendant! Only downside....located right below a heavily traveled walking area. Constant thud-thud of footfalls. AC....marginal but tolerable. But, simply "tolerating" should not be an expectation on a cruise. If I want to hang beef in my room, I should be able to cool it down! Otherwise, nice room for as much as we were in it! Read entire member review >>
I had no issues with my cabin except the smoker in the room next to me. I would recommend the cabin to anyone. The close is a little awkward to use but there was plenty of storage space. Watching the sunrise and sunsets from my balcony was the highlight of my trip. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin (11598) was satisfactory but not as nice as other mini suites we have had. It did have a tab and additional cabin space but it did not have a walk in closet or bath robes like we had with our mini suite on Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. The location was good (mid ship) as it was close to everything and we were not bothered by any noises. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 11090, Mini Suite. Mid-ship. Perfect location. Roomy. Couch hard as a rock. Everything worked. Bed a bit hard, but the egg crate fixed that when requested. No wear and tear that was obvious. Quite cabin, you can't hear the public areas above or below you. Read entire member review >>
We had a mid-ship mini suite which connected to our sister in laws cabin with a total of 7 adults. We had plenty of space. The sofa beds were uncomfortable, but there was plenty of storage and room for movement. Spectacular views from balcony but a little upset because they no longer open the balcony doors on connecting cabins. Read entire member review >>
Mini suite with balcony, midship. Nice balcony and room. Only 2 electrical outlets. Plenty of storage. pool and lido immediately above room, a lot of stomping and dragging of chairs heard. Read entire member review >>
Room 11636 Mini Suite - Great Balcony, slightly more room than a balcony room. Dirty filthy room, vomit on trash can. Bad cleaning service. Not worth the cost to upgrade from a balcony. Read entire member review >>
Mini-suite 11156 - nice bathroom, comfortable bed, could be a little larger, closet space adequate, excellent steward (Christian). Since we preferred the Versailles dining room, we like the location which was not too far from the aft elevators. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was big, but the TV was VERY small 12 inch. The closet was small and in the closet was shelves to put your clothes but it was to hard to use so I just left everything in my suite case! Balcony floor was torn up and so was the chair on the balcony. The hallway was very noisy at night (nothing for the small kids to do but run around) Read entire member review >>
Cabin 11130 mid-ship mini-suite. Solo traveler, plenty of room. Could not imagine 4 people sharing the cabin unless they brought no belongings, only a small closet and two drawers. There was a bit of mold on the tub & shower, not a huge deal. Sofa was rock hard and beds not much comfier than that. Balcony chairs were solid and comfortable. Everything else was lovely and clean as a whistle at all times. Read entire member review >>
Shower tends to run to the hot side on its own, baseboard rug torn opposite the door to bathroom, (2) side chairs for table in cabin are missing the ends of the legs so the chairs wobble from side to side. Balcony floor material is shredding. Bed is a bit soft. Rest of the cabin is fine. Noticed some noise from clean up activities in the Market Cafe / pool deck area which is above the cabin. Not consistent and not every night. Read entire member review >>
Surprised at the small size of our "mini-suite, mid ship balcony" cabin 11576. The only chair in the room was a pull out sofa-bed that slid forward anytime one sat on it. Annoying and uncomfortable. Finally gave up and sat on the bed. There was a pull out desk type chair under the TV armoire but using that required moving the coffee table and sofa bed... not worth the hassle. Also, the TV was straight out of the 80s. A big fat device with a 15" screen. On ship programming was poor and ridiculously repetitive. The balcony itself was fine and matched our experiences on Holland America and Royal Caribbean. Read entire member review >>
11632 : Small storage areas. A little loud under the buffet area.
The view was nice with the slightly larger balcony. Bathroom was large. Shampoo was not good and I had to buy my own & conditioner. Read entire member review >>
This is a handicapped room. We got it by just asking for a guaranteed balcony room without specifying a particular room. Very nice room in terms of size -- it is 1.5 times the size of other balcony rooms in the same price category. But since it is a handicapped room, the shower is a bit different and the room itself is conveniently located close to the elevators. Some passengers might not like that, but I found the room to be an overall plus. Read entire member review >>
Our 11th floor AF mini suite was great. The bathroom had a shower / tub along with a separate door you could close for the toilet. The balcony was a little larger that a regular balcony and we even sat 4 adults out there on several occasions for cigars and drinks. Plenty of closet space, drawers next to the bed, and drawers in the desk in the hallway. Entertainment center with a smallish TV, mini bar fridge, safe, and phone. Couch also folded out into a bed and both our girls (12 / 8) slept there comfortably each night. Read entire member review >>
Nice closet, storage under bed enough for five suitcases, great balcony, tv a little small. One floor up was the market cafe so nice location. Nice tub and glass doors in bathroom. Toilet seperated with glass door..very nice. Coffee pot and fridge were nice. Read entire member review >>
No drawers in nightstand or desk. small TV w/ bad sound on several channels, poor closet location- hard to use. Very roomy cabin, comfortable beds, great linens, nice bathroom with full tub. Quiet cabin, nice balcony, good temperature controls, great location to spa and dining. Read entire member review >>
Mini-Suite had ample space for four of us, including our luggage stored under the bed. Not enough drawers but plenty of shelves. Occasional deck noise above. Water closet started to smell by the end of the week. Bed was extremely comfortable. Not enough US power plug-ins in the room (only 1). Plenty of extra space in the minifridge. Mini suite 11110 -- the plus (very close to atrium elevator) the negative right across from a crew space so some banging of doors. Fabulous views being on the starboard side and the middle of the boat! Read entire member review >>
