Our Cabin was great, our steward was attentive, and we were right off the stairs. The only downside on the 6th deck is that the dining rooms disrupt the flow, so you can't get to your stateroom from any stairs but the forward stairs. BUT, we chose the right location so that we literally just walked off the stairs, turned left, and headed straight to our stateroom. It was really nice! Read Less

Cabin smaller than we expected had to split the double bed to two singles as there wasn't enough room to get in or out of the bed on one side. Bathroom shower plenty of room powerful and hot no issues at all, however the toilet area is a tight fit. Cabin steward Cassan, looked after the cabin and made sure it was always clean and toiletries replenished daily. Picture window a good size. T.v. Reception poor at times and very few English channels available Read Less

Canary Island Cruise : Cabin 6536
The cabin was under Le Bistro so there were no noise issues from above. It is a bit small but we were rarely there. The bathroom floor tile should be replaced.

This was our first time in a non-balcony room on a ship. We were concerned about the smaller size of the cabin, but were pleasantly surprised that there was enough space, and the picture window was large. However, DO NOT BOOK THIS CABIN. It is directly above the gangway door, and at every port we were woken up by the doors opening and general noise of the crew/music and then all of the passengers getting off this ship. Read Less

Very nice, but.... : Cabin 5038
Except for the aforementioned noise and vibration from the winch, we though this cabin was terrific!

The was the first time I had a "window only" room - all my previous cruises I had balcony rooms, and I wasn't too sure if i'd like it...but it was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious enough for two, and the bed was comfortable. At first I worried about the A/C system because some ships cranked up the heat, and there's no balcony to step outside. The temperature control in the room worked well and I kept the room nice and cool at night. In fact, I had some the best sleeps on a cruise ship in this room! The only problem was the shower, it lost water pressure on the very last day. Read Less

Had steward turn beds into a king. Bed and pillows were comfy. Room can hold 4, but it was just us 2. Far enough from the elevators so you don't hear noise, and towards the front of the ship, so not a long hallway for people to meander down to reach their own rooms. Easy access from deck 6 to everything ( once you figure out the RED carpet is the elevators you want to use). Very quiet. Read Less

Pleasantly surprised : Cabin 6026
Clean and tidy, showing its age a little but fine apart from the tiny toilet cubicle.

Cabin was a Great size and close to the Forward Lifts, only problem was you had to forward to the Lifts and go up one Floor to access the other parts of the ship, not a hardship but worth noting.

We were really very pleased with our cabin- a picture window cabin on deck 5 – 5522. Our previous 2 cabins have been balcony, however as this were an extra holiday and not our ‘main’ we wanted to keep costs down so opted for a window- didn’t fancy an inside and still don’t. Each to their own- our friends love theirs but I like to see out! We had plenty of space, opting for a twin configuration as we wanted space between the beds which we got! There was plenty of hanging space, drawers and shelves and the bathroom was very spacious with a separate shower cubicle with a screen rather than a curtain- and a separate screen for the loo. The addition of some basic toiletries was a nice touch too. I would definitely chose this type of cabin again as we certainly didn’t miss our balcony. We hit some dodgy weather at times and felt it! Maybe I’d go more midship in future – but overall we were really pleased! Read Less
