These Oceanview Staterooms located on a lower deck, can accommodate up to three guests and come with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and additional bedding to accommodate one more. You'll also have a big picture window to enjoy the amazing view.
Had steward turn beds into a king. Bed and pillows were comfy. Room can hold 4, but it was just us 2. Far enough from the elevators so you don't hear noise, and towards the front of the ship, so not a long hallway for people to meander down to reach their own rooms. Easy access from deck 6 to everything ( once you figure out the RED carpet is the elevators you want to use). Very quiet. Read entire member review >>
We were really very pleased with our cabin- a picture window cabin on deck 5 – 5522. Our previous 2 cabins have been balcony, however as this were an extra holiday and not our ‘main’ we wanted to keep costs down so opted for a window- didn’t fancy an inside and still don’t. Each to their own- our friends love theirs but I like to see out! We had plenty of space, opting for a twin configuration as we wanted space between the beds which we got! There was plenty of hanging space, drawers and shelves and the bathroom was very spacious with a separate shower cubicle with a screen rather than a curtain- and a separate screen for the loo. The addition of some basic toiletries was a nice touch too. I would definitely chose this type of cabin again as we certainly didn’t miss our balcony. We hit some dodgy weather at times and felt it! Maybe I’d go more midship in future – but overall we were really pleased! Read entire member review >>
Cabin was a Great size and close to the Forward Lifts, only problem was you had to forward to the Lifts and go up one Floor to access the other parts of the ship, not a hardship but worth noting. Read entire member review >>
Very comfortable room for two. Some worn area's but will be in Dry Dock January 2017.
Plumbing needs to be addressed immediately with sewage issues and in the morning, brown water from sink faucets. Read entire member review >>
Like many others have mentioned - there is only one outlet in the cabin (other than the one for razors in the bath) and it's only rated at 500 watts - not enough for a personal hair dryer. My wife said the one in the bath was ok - just not very powerful, but better than the one we had in our suite on our last trip on this ship. The picture window was bigger than portholes, and it was hosed off each time we hit port so we had a nice view. The cabin was in great shape - everything worked and no issues with anything. The was a one person couch, writing table and a nightstand. More than enough closet space with lots of drawers and shelves. The flat screen TV was on the small size, but they do show movies in the clubs. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was forward. Some reviewers had commented that this was noisy as being below the casino . This was the quietest cabin we have ever had on a ship. The storage was good. The bathroom was excellent and had a walk in shower. It was a great improvement on other ships we have been on. The cabin steward was excellent and friendly, He even made towel animals every night, something that the carnivalised P and O have given up. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin. Quiet location. Can heard the waves hitting side and wind so if sea sickness is an issue book a bit higher and middle. If u like it quiet though, this was perfect. I did not find it small as some people have said. Read entire member review >>
Refurbished poorly. The new TV and mini bar area was in an un-matching laminate and lots of screw holes left unfilled. Settee backrest stained. Perspex panel above sink not properly fitted. Mini-safe had a sticker to cover over the keypad but this was peeling off. One of the sliding closet doors came off its runners several times. Read entire member review >>
Small but adequate. Needs more lighting as it was a little dark in the room and the bathroom. Bring hangers especially ones for pants. Quiet-we always like this location as we find it quiet. Plenty of room under bed for suitcases. Could use a little more drawers/shelves but not sure where they could put it. Read entire member review >>
5016: Tiny room with picture window. Cramped for 2 people; can't image how they fit 4 into a room like that. Limited space for clothes. Quiet. Few door down from elevator. Close to front so felt the boat moving. Read entire member review >>
