With room for up to three guests, these Oceanview Staterooms come with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and pull down bed to sleep one more, as well as a large picture window that offers a great view.
Dated and tired looking, the cotton cover on the chair was stained and appeared dirty. That said, the cabin was adequate and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time in the cabin anyway and the other parts of the ship were nicer. Read entire member review >>
Small, reasonably well laid out. We had two twins pushed together, and one settee that doubled as a fold-out bed. I cannot imagine having a third person in the cabin and anyone being able to access the toilet in the middle of the night. Nice to have a separate WC with a sliding door to separate you from the sink and shower.
Shower: don’t expect to get the temp “just so” as it will change often in the course of even a short shower.
Odd features: We found one UK and one US electrical outlet by the desk, making it difficult to set up my husband’s C-PAP machine. If we needed a second one, we’d have to work that one outlet pretty hard and have cords in the walkway. Valuable real estate is taken up by a large mini-fridge which is stocked with drinks. Probably a money-maker for the company but a space hog in a small cabin. At least we had a lot of hangers.
This cabin is a short walk and a dogleg from the elevators/stairs closest to the main dining areas. As you make the dogleg, you pass in front of the door to a very busy crew area, and are in danger of being run into. Also, they look at you in horror thinking you are trying to sneak into the crew area when all you are doing is trying to leap out of the way of the rushing crew. Read entire member review >>
A spacious Cabin with lots of storage and a mini fridge (ask your steward to empty the bar contents out so you can keep your water cold).Surprisingly a UK power socket as well as US and German. only down side was no bedside table on one side but the deep window sill worked fine. good sized shower cubicle and excellent bathroom layout (Epic take note) with toilet and shower in separate cubicles within the bathroom. Our cabin was really nice. Spacious with lots of storage space. Double closet, plenty of hangars, five side shelves in closet as well as 4 drawer in dresser. Desk with a drawer. I was given a hint to take along a over the door shoe bag & hang it on the inside bathroom door, this worked great!!! Kept everything in its place. A pocket for everything. The sink area is small, so this was a terrific suggestion by another cruiser!! Read entire member review >>
Cabin, as expected, was small; however, the layout of the cabin was very efficient. Shower was larger than on other ships. Our toilet worked fine. We had no unpleasant smells and, despite the rough seas, all the doors and drawers stayed shut and silent. The picture window was a very nice size and its presence probably contributed to not feeling any sea-sickness on the trip despite the winds and seas. Read entire member review >>
When I first entered my assigned cabin something smelled really nasty! Could not locate the source so I let it go hoping the offensive odor would go away once we were underway. That didn’t happen, so I lived with it for seven days. Needless to say, I spent minimum time in my cabin, only sleep time. I’m back home now, but the odor lingers in my clothing. I’ve laundered them but the odor is still present.
The cabin was filthy, the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The pillows are stained, the towels felt like sandpaper, one had a hole in it. Wash cloths were provided every other day. The drinking glasses were not washed the entire cruise, rinsed out maybe, but still had stickiness on the insides. The toilet got temperamental at times and wouldn’t flush. Unfortunately it picked the “worse” times, I don’t want to have to spell it out! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was average size. The bathroom was larger than ive seen with separate sliding doors separating the sink area from the toilet and shower areas. The shower was larger than average but the toilet area seemed smaller. We had a king bed up against the window, a half sofa, and a desk and a chair. Closet, drawer and safe space was average. Loved this cabin location. Just down the hall from Champagne Charlies" and the photo gallery. Very close to elevator and stairs, yet no noise can be heard at all. One floor down is the Blue Lagoon, the 24 hour venue where you can get wings and many other things. Cabin is small, but more than efficient for two people. Read entire member review >>
Small but adequate maybe remove the ashtray in the toilet to give more room. Put hair drier in the room rather than the toilet. Make double bed smaller so as to turn to side so you can stand by the window. Would be good to have a print out of the films on offer on the TV. Read entire member review >>
This cabin is fine for 2 people. We had the bed changed from 1 big one to 2 singles and it gave a lot more room to move round. There was plenty of storage and although the bathroom was small, the shower was nice and big with great water power!!
You need to check just where you are docked before opening the curtains in the morning!!!!
Our cleaner Flavia was very good at keeping the room spotless. Read entire member review >>
When we booked our cruise, all good cabins were gone, meaning with more space and balcony.
The stateroom was always very clear and it had enough space to fit everything if you're not an over packer.
The bathroom had a good space. Not big and not the smallest bathroom ever.
I always recommend getting a cabin with at least a balcony - makes all the difference and it is a little bigger than the oceanviews. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was small but with storage space under the bed for cases. Also plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Bathroom was a bit tight but manageable. We asked for the bed to be split which was a good decision as it made far more room to move around. We were very happy with the accommodation. Read entire member review >>
The cabin wasn't fancy and a little dated, but it had everything we needed, including TV, dressing table and a small sofa. There was plenty of storeage and although it wasn't very large it was still ok even with a third person.Deck 5 was very quiet, and it was convenient for everything as our cabin was mid ships.it was clean and well cared for. Our room was small as expected, but had everything we needed and was laid out well. One unfortunate issue we had was that our tiny shower did not drain well. We had to stop the water running mid-shower, each shower, while washing hair/face, in order to allow some of the water to go down the drain so we wouldn't flood out the shower doors. 6558Cabin was fine. Noticed smell in bathroom commented on by someone else, and husband added water to the drain and with some air freshener, was fine. Location very good for getting around the ship. Read entire member review >>
Cabin and bathroom were more spacious than other lines but the bathroom had a constant stench. We bought air freshner as soon as possible. Beds were above average in comfort. The desk was a little banged up and needed to be replaced Read entire member review >>
We loved this room. Far enough away from the stairs and elevator so there was no noise. No noise from above or below. No odd late night / early morning sounds. Good size, good layout, excellent sized bathroom. Really liked the picture window. Location mid-ship was great for getting to the restaurants and theater. Among the best rooms we've ever stayed in on a cruise ship. Read entire member review >>
Our room was just like any cruise room, plenty of room for two. The bathroom was nice. It was one of the best I have seem on a ship. When you walked in you saw the sink and plenty of shelves for your items then there was sliding shower doors on your right and left. On the right was a shower and the left was the toilet. It was a great layout. Read entire member review >>
The rooms are extremely small. Bed is in the center of the room, one bedside table. One very small desk, on chair. The bathroom is very small. I am a big guy, but not that big and I had to exit the bathroom to dry off and put on clothes. The funny thing is the shower. They should apply bath brushed to the side wall that would allow you to scrub yourself as there is very limited room. Read entire member review >>
I liked the bathroom design. Toilet had it's own space and door.
Closet space wasn't as large as other ships and the hangers wouldn't come off the clip, so we resorted to buying plastic hangers at a dollar store.
Found the bed to be hard and very uncomfortable.
Every night, around 1 am there was a very strange sound that woke us up, we think it had something to do with the plumbing, as our toilet made gurgle sounds! Read entire member review >>
#5090 - Very quiet location. Very stable during rocky seas. Nice large ocean view window. Beds are heavenly! Plenty of space for 2 people; lots of nooks and crannies for things. Easily accessible to restaurants via stairs and elevators. Read entire member review >>
The cabins were very small but quiet. We were on deck 6 and had to walk up a deck to get anywhere else on the ship. The linens in the room, especially on the bed were a bit worn and old. The towels were small and old. The pool towels provided were old and stained but still useful. We had a large window which was very nice and made the tiny room feel a bit larger. Smallest cabin we had ever seen but plenty of storage. The "couch" in the picture was actually a chair that converted into a bed and could seat 2 kids or one adult. Mysterious bed in the ceiling with sheets sticking out. Quiet location. The layout was disappointing with the bed under the window you could not look out. The bed was hard as a rock - the steward brought the "egg crate" foam which did little to help. Read entire member review >>
Our Oceanview room, 6076, was perfect. Felt bigger than I had anticipated. Plenty of closet space. Four drawers which were a little small, but we ended up having room for everything. We needed some extra hangers, and the stewards provided them for us. The bed was firm, as I read on a lot of other reviews, and I did wake up with a sore back most mornings. I asked for an eggcrate mattress topper, and that did help. I heard barely any nose. The only noise was from Deck 7 above, as you are below the teak, wooden, walking deck. If the crew was doing work, moving equipment, you might hear that. Hallway noise, and other room noise was pretty much non-existent. The bathrooms are plenty big. Much bigger than I had expected, as well. Read entire member review >>
Walls are a bit thin -- we could sometimes hear the toddler in the room next to us. Toilet would leak water onto the floor. They attempted to fix it immediately upon reporting it, but had to come back after it happened again. It was eventually fixed. Otherwise, a great mid-ship cabin. Read entire member review >>
Dirty floors, insufficient linens to stock the room properly each day (ie. no wash cloths), great bathroom (separate shower door, toilet door and sink area) although odor from the toilet was sometimes strong even with the door closed. Queen bed. Some days there was no ice. When we went through the room to pack up I found leftover items from previous guests. Plenty of closet and storage space but bring your own hangers if you have more than 15 items to hang up. Hair dryer is weak. Staying on the 7th floor or higher keeps you from having to go up levels to walk across the ship and then go down again to dinning rooms. Read entire member review >>
Loved the cabin. Was a bit small especially the closet. The bathroom was nice. Liked how you had the privacy when going to the bathroom. Wishing you had that when showering that way at least other people could use the bathroom. Beds were amazing. Even the one that came down from the ceiling. No complaints. Read entire member review >>
We had room on Deck 6 right next to Garden Room. Great location- very quiet- can't hear anything from restaurant and only have a cabin on one side. Room plenty spacious for 2 people, lots of nooks and cranies to store stuff. Read entire member review >>
