This cabin was huge. Great for a family of four. We had plenty of room for four and bathroom was larger in this room too. Bonus too that it was close to the lifts and stairs. No problem with noise. Read entire member review >>
The layout was a little strange in our cabin, but the bathroom was a good size, with a good shower. There was a little bit of a funky smell on our hallway and the toilet sometimes flushed 15 minutes after we pushed the button. The bed was fine. Cabin was basic, but overall a very good value for the price paid. The reading lights by the beds were great. Read entire member review >>
My husband and I were in 10611. This cabin had an interior location, but was slightly larger, and it was marketed as a "family, interior cabin". It was perfect for our needs. We could walk up the two stories to the pool and buffet, or down three stories to the restaurants. Level 8 featured our favorite bar. We were right by the mid-ship stairway, and we did not have rooms on either sides of us. The closet was fine. HINT: When we were in Barcelona, we purchased two dozen plastic hangers, and I'm glad we did as there were only 12 in the room. We had enough room to hang our clothes along with the shelf in the closet. You do not have the dreaded shower curtain on the Spirit. There is a glass shower door and we were surprised how large the shower really was. HINT: NCL provides liquid soap in the shower...no bar soap. If you like bar soap that lathers, bring your own. Also, the cabin did not have amenities such as shower cap, Q-Tips and body lotion. The TV is an issue as the remote does not work very well. If you wanted to watch TV in bed, you had to swing around the remote above your head to catch the signal. There was a poor selection of channels...if you wanted to watch the news, you had Sky News or the BBC. They both looped the same story every few minutes. Connie was our steward, and the room was always clean with the extra towels that we requested. In the bathroom, there is an antique hair dryer that features an old-fashioned flexible hose. The 110 outlet in the cabin had a sign "No Hair Dryers". As one who likes to use a modern hairdryer with attached brush, I tried the outlet. It blew a fuse immediately. Thank goodness my dryer had a switch for 220. I used my adapter in the 220 outlet and the dryer worked fine. The toilet in the room had to be flushed numerous times for the paper to go down and at one point stopped working outright. I must also make mention of what happened in my niece's cabin, 10129. She came back one day to find her carpet soaked, one of the drawers fell apart and her TV did not work. Her safe also locked shut and it took security one hour to arrive to open the safe. My brother in 10127 had a broken phone. Read entire member review >>
We had booked a Family Inside (category I2); stateroom 6035. We'd learned before booking that it was one of the 200sqft inside cabins, along with 6535. Book way ahead to get these rooms. The room was great for our family of two adults & two teenagers, with one large queen and an upper berth on the left side, and a lower mattress on the right. There was another chair that could've been pulled out to form a bed, but we didn't use it. The beds were soft and rooms were cleaned frequently by our room steward. There was a TV with CNN and a free movie channel with great and very recent releases and some other English channels and a few channels in other languages. There are tons of drawers and nooks and hooks and shelves to organize your things. We would like to give a shoutout to our cabin steward, Barry Go, for his exceptional service (and towel animals)! We had room 6035. This is one of the large inside rooms near the for-steps. It was very spacious. With the four of us, we always had plenty of room, the closet and cabinet held almost all of our clothes (including the 15yog. Our room steward was wonderful and our room was always clean and well kept. The room did have some noise late at night as it is directly under the restrooms next to Shanghai Bar, but not enough to overcome the spaciousness and convenience. Read entire member review >>
6535 is an over sized inside cabin on the Spirit. Very roomy and an excellent choice right below LeBistro on deck six and near the elevators. Le Bistro can make some noise while closing, maybe moving chair to clean but otherwise a quiet and great location. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 9203 - Category I2, inside family cabin. Very spacious. We had four people and all of our own dive gear in there and still had plenty of room. You can feel the vibration of the engine sometimes but that was fine with us. If you want a quieter room then pick a more forward cabin. If you want a room close to all the kid activities then this is the room for you. I would pick it again in a heartbeat. Read entire member review >>
We were in cabin 4479 and let me tell you this room is HUGE! HUGE doesn't really do it justice; it HUGENORMOUS! We LOVED it! There was the lower bed (2 twins pulled together to make a king) and 2 upper berths. The room was clean; I didn't notice any rust or areas that stood out as needing repair. One plus was that the hairdryer in this room was a STANDARD HAIR DRYER-not the hose things that were in other rooms. Don't know why. A few notes about this room, you WILL hear the water hitting the bow of the ship; we liked it because it was a white noise that lulled you to sleep. You WILL hear the ship maneuvering when it docks and leaves port; it shakes the room some too. We also saw this as a benefit because it was kind of a built in alarm clock. Room location was fine. Room is still small for 4 people. Wasn't a fan of the bed layout for 4 of us. I was expecting 2 bunks that opened off the wall and 2 twins (either connected or separate), we had 1 bunk, 1 "King" (connected twins) and a trundle bed squished between the "king" and the wall under the bunk. TOO TIGHT, no walking space to get out of the bed if you were the person in the middle. The shower floor could use some updating, replacing the cracked tiles. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 10531. Category I2. Family Cabin.Nice sideways layout. You enter right into the cabin rather than a hallway between a closet and bathroom doorway. It wasn't one of the larger sideways cabins. It had one nightstand rather than two. The armchair occupies the space where the second nightstand was located (next to the bed) in cabins on our previous NCL sailings. The one nightstand, though, is terrific because it has two shelves where you can store things - nice! We stored shoes on one of the shelves. Occasionally heard people talking in the hall, but it did not bother us. We would happily sail in this size and layout of cabin again. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 4479 inside stateroom for 4, this appears to be left over space made into a cabin. But it is HUGE 288 sq ft, essential a suite down in steerage! The 2 normal beds which we had pushed together, a drop down above the main bed and a second drop down on a side wall. We had room to spare, 5 suit cases 4 people and tons of floor space! The bathroom has a good amount of space and the shower was big enough for 2! The Gangways were always just down the hall so when we left the ship it was right there and when crawling back on the room was right there! Forward most cabin on Deck 4, right near the anchors/mooring ropes you will here some noise from these as well as the water slapping the ship. We also felt a fair amount of motion, more the last 3 days but the sea was a little rougher those days. My only complaint was the placement of phone, it was in the middle of no where, no one could get to it with out getting out of bed and walking 4 or 5 feet to it, yes there was tons of open floor space! No hall noise as no one comes this far forward, this low down! Only other downside is being extremely forward, most things on the ship seem to be aft, so we were always walking to the back of the boat.
I would highly recommend this cabin, absolute bargain if you can get it especially for 3 or 4 people. Read entire member review >>
When I saw that this cabin became available, I immediately looked into changing our current room that was down the hall to 9207 because I knew we would be spending a good amount of time at Buccaneers Wet & Wild with our boys, which was very close in vicinity (just up and around the stairs).
Reading reviews of 9207 made me a little leary, but we like to form our own opinion so we gave it a shot.
Cabin 9207 did not disappoint. It was so much larger than what we were used to and we could all move around with ease.
The closet was just fine. It had shelves on the left side from the top to bottom. The closet also had plenty of hangers and lots of room above and on the floor for other items.
We put all of our suitcases under the bed so all of that was out of our way.
There was a little chair that folded out into a bed for our youngest son and he loved it. I even slept on it one night and found it to be very comfortable.
The upper bed that folds out from the wall was also very comfortable.
The two twin beds that we had put together were also just fine.
The room could probably do without the desk to make a little more room, but was a good place to put cell phones, receipts, jewelry, etc.
The bathroom was just fine and accommodated us perfectly.
The shower was great and very adjustable.
We did not experience any noise issues even considering that we were close to an exit.
We would definitely book 9207 on the Spirit again! Read entire member review >>
6035 and 6535. These are KK inside cabins that are over 200 sq feet each. They are large and can sleep 4 comfortably. They could use some updating but otherwise they are great cabins. A little noice if you go to bed before midnight from above. The showers are large and the extra floor space is a huge plus! Read entire member review >>
9207 was a large inside cabin at the aft of the ship. Had some noise from Kid Club doing the day and some vibrating getting out of the River But other wise a great inside cabin! Read entire member review >>
Great location very close to forward stairs/elevator. Cabin is slightly larger than other inside cabins on the ship. Closet was big, but few hangers. The only noise we heard from the hallway were the overhead crew annoucements. Read entire member review >>
