Quiet cabin, forward of the forward elevators. Not much hallway traffic. Did not hear neighbors thru adjoining door. When sofa is made into the bed, the main room is essentially one giant bed, no room to get to balcony without walking on sofa bed. This was expected and did not bother us. Plenty of hot water for showers. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Read Less

On the first day of the cruise, I told my housekeeper that there was a weird noise on the other side of the wall (which I recorded). He said that was the boat rocking against the waves. It was not. I believe it was maintenance people making noise on the other side of the wall since my room was the first room on the right side of the ship on floor 9. On the second day, I heard drips of water by my TV at night. I had a difficult time falling asleep. I called guest services to complain that my shower drain was clogged, the ac not working, and the bathroom toilet button and latch to go to the balcony were detached from the wall. These issues were amended. However, I called guest services multiple times to complain about the water temperature when showering. 7/10 days on the cruise, I showered with cold water. This is unacceptable. Guest services said they fixed the problem after the first time I complained. They did not. I do not appreciate paying over $3,000 for a cruise and taking a shower with cold water. This ship needs to be updated. Read Less

We loved the cabin. It was far enough forward that there was very very little noise. The cabin forward to us was the Captain's cabin (or chief engineer, we weren't completely sure). The bathroom initially smelled slightly musty, but overall we had a great experience in 11500. Great ocean views as we were ahead of the ships wake. The TV's are funny on this ship. It's as though they didn't know what size the shelf was when they ordered them so they don't really fit. You have to hold your arm up in the air from bed to change the channel. I would immediately book this cabin again if I was on the same ship. Read Less

Smaller than average - but comfortable. Storage space is adequate for two people. Bed was quite comfortable. The balcony is smaller than most with no room for even a small lounger. The bathroom is fine overall with a larger shower than some but the door separating the toilet area is just plain dumb. It should be removed in the next refit. We were port side aft, but engine noise was not an issue. Walls are rather thin, so a noisy neighbour will be quite noticeable. Read Less

The cabin was adequate. The Spirit is an older boat so the cabins seem to be a little smaller than some of their newer vessels, however, it has other things that we really enjoy on the older boats.

It's an older ship. The room seemed smaller than other Norwegian balconies I gave been in. It seemed a bit worn, not enough drawers, but good king size bed and good pillows. Instead of a chiller filled with booze, a small refrigerator would have been nice. The towels were good, soft, absorbent and large. And changed daily. We adjusted to the room and the storage.
