These Norwegian Sky Oceanview Staterooms have room for up to three guests, with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a convertible sofa to accommodate one more. You'll also have a porthole to enjoy the amazing view.
The room itself was fine! Fresh bath towels each day, but no beach towels (others we were with that had a room on another floor had beach towels). Stateroom was NOT ready when we got there even though we were told it was. Someones dirty socks and shoes in the drawer still. Room was cleaned at least once, if not twice, daily. Comfortable. Had a couch which we mostly used to put luggage on. Read entire member review >>
The room was spacious with plenty of amenities. The bed was comfortable but the two mattresses kept sliding apart from the queen combination and made sleeping difficult. My steward was amazing and always available when I needed her. She provided everything we needed and anticipated a lot of our needs ahead of time. Read entire member review >>
Once on board, we found that 2 of our 3 porthole cabins (8019 and 8018) A/C was not working fully. After 3 trips to Guest Services, the A/C was fixed 2 hours later. I'm not sure what our room stewards name was, in the evening because she never introduced herself. I got the feeling from here she wasn't very out going. Of the 4 nights, we had towel animals on the bed twice. The cabins were aged, but clean. Read entire member review >>
Pros: the beds are like little cots with adequate storage underneath. My sis stored her large suitcase underneath. We had a couch as well, a small TV with a few channels such as CNN, Fox News, and the NCL Sky TV channel plus a few other movie channels. There is a safe in which you enter your own code to store valuables. The steward comes by numerous times during the day to tidy up; he was very friendly. Soap available in the shower.
Cons: Very small, older carpet that seemed ragged, the closet kind of stunk even before our clothes were in there. The room was sometimes a bit stuffy/warm sometimes. I didn't like the soap provided but had brought my own. Each person is charged an additional $12 a day for tips for the steward. I don't know that this is a "con" but some people might not be aware of this and should include it in their trip budget. The announcements were hard to hear in the room. Read entire member review >>

It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
