These Norwegian Sky Oceanview Staterooms have room for up to three guests, with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a convertible sofa in some staterooms to accommodate one more. You'll also have a big picture window to enjoy the amazing view.
When we arrived in our cabin, the air conditioning did not appear to respond to changes in the thermostat. Our cabin "concierge" came to visit us not long after we got there, and he immediately got the A/C fixed while we were at dinner. The bathroom was a little cramped, especially as I could not bend one of my legs, but the bed was very comfortable, and our window afforded us great views, especially when docking. Need to revamp the bathroom as it's looking a bit worn and shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. Also guests should be able to look at their bill on the TV monitor so you don't have to stand in line unless you know there's a problem. The steward cleaned and refreshed the room several xs a day, which was great bc of the heat. Read entire member review >>
The beds are older. We had to ask for egg crate type topping for the beds which really helped. We had plenty of hangers, storage space and the tiny bathroom was well laid out. A very comfortable room, even had a desk with drawers. Our room server kept our room tidy and was very helpful. Read entire member review >>
CABIN: Room steward excellent and took care every need. Cabin above thrusters so expect to get awakened by the noise when arriving and departing port. At least 30 minutes of loud noise. Otherwise very quiet. Cabin small but OK for 2. VERY TIGHT FIT for 3 but doable if you are organized. Luggage storage could be an issue for 29" suitcase - may not fit under bed and closet is small. Wheeled carry-on fit under bed no problem. 3rd bed is fold out love seat - and appeared short (we did unfold it.) Also - you have to climb over it to use bathroom. Bathroom storage space is small so bring an over the door shoe holder to store toiletries and odds and ends ($6 at Walmart). Walls are metal so bring a few strong magnetic clips to hold the daily news and any other papers as well as heavy duty 20 lb or better magnets ($4 at Home Depot) to hold beach bag hats, etc., for a tidy organized room. Drawer storage is minimal so bring spare hangers with you - you will run out of provided hangers. Bring a power strip - there is only one outlet. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin. Enough room. Enough light. Great Steward. Not as noisy like an inside cabin we once had. We could hear the crying child next door. Not as great as the balcony cabins, but hey, priced right. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was somewhat small. Really, just big enough for beds, love seat they kinda just threw in there (there wasn't enough space to move the table in front of the sofa to sit on it). They should just remove the sofa so it will feel bigger. Closets are adequate, as are the bathroom. Read entire member review >>
