Balcony (BC) Cabin Reviews

cabin was small, but it didn't matter as we really didn't spend much time in it. wouldn't do it without he balcony that was the best part staff kept the room super clean and neat.

Don't do maintenance that affects your passengers!! Especially in their cabin where we go to relax. Address complaints in a professional manner, and not answer with harassment!

I will say the mattress was very comfortable but it didn't fit the frame! There was at least 3 inches of metal on each side that you had to be mindful of when getting out of bed.

19 year ship wasn't too bad in terms of comfort, except for size of room. Shelf space limited to 4 half height drawers in closet. Space under hangers was wasted, except for piling shoes. Minimal desk shelf space, tiny fridge with no shelves, just $$ bottled water. Tiny LCD TV hanging over desk. A/C just adequate for spring time use. Bathroom tiny, sink not level, dribbled splash water down onto TP. Again limited shelving. Balcony was just comfortable for two seats and small table. Entry was through glass door, not sliding patio door!. Window was large round portal style, next to door. Read Less

Room was small, Having the Balcony was the only way I can do it. We were on the 10 deck and even though we were right under the pool, it was not noisy at all. One outlet and no coffee pot. would of love to have the coffee pot. Shower was tight but the water pressure was strong and water hot. Not enough room or place to put your clothes away so we lived out of suitcase which we left on the small sofa which really made the room smaller. But hey you don't really stay in your room except to sleep. Nothing to watch on the TV, Internet was okay if you bought into it. Didn't see shampoo so bring your own.Hair dryer was decent. Read Less

The cabin was very small and dated. You should understand that the ship -second oldest in the Norwegian fleet- was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2012 or 13; we knew that going in, so we’re not particularly disappointed. Luckily, I brought a power strip along to keep the devices charged and you should do so, too: there’s only one outlet in the room. The shower area is able the same size as the one on the space shuttle, so be prepared for that. I imagine that it could be challenging or even downright dangerous, particularly for an older person, to pick up a dropped bar of soap. Speaking of which, the scent of the soap Norwegian uses, along with its matching lotion, is very nice. However, you’ll find it easier to buy a gun on the streets of Miami than you will to get the staff to load you up with soap. I asked a couple of times, got one bar of soap and one lotion on Day 1and then never again. We had to make due with the liquid body wash. Life is tough, isn’t it? This particular cabin, by the way, is located on the 10th floor, under the pool and Garden Café area. On past cruises, we’ve had similar rooms and were awakened daily at 4:30am to the sound of scraping lounge chairs -the same chairs that you’ll rarely get to sit on during a sunny sea day- as the midnight staff set them in place for the day ahead. This cruise, though, was silent overhead. You should know, though, that other rooms on the 10th floor could easily turn a decent cruise a trip from hell. Check the map when choosing a room. And remember: any choice of cabin in the ‘sailaway’ Category has the chance of ruining your vacation. I know it’s cheaper, but you’re taking a chance. Cruise lines are very aware of every nickel and dime and give little away for no reason. Read Less
