Aft-Facing Balcony (B1) Cabin Reviews

Cruise to Cuba : Cabin 8078
Sail Date: October 2018
Overall we were extremely pleased with our cabin. The cabin was tended to regularly and kept extremely clean throughout the entire cruise. We did have some odor from the engine while out on the balcony, but it did not damper our trip.

Was rather decent. Queen sized bed, large port window and door to the balcony. There was maybe 1 foot of clearance between the end of the bed and the wall. A stocked mini fridge with high price tags on the most essential item, water. Balcony was not large but it was fine for 2 people. Bathroom was small as well. The photos really don't do it justice though, its actually smaller than they depict. bathrooms are never large on ships though. Cabin staff did an excellent job of cleaning the room. Read Less

First time on an aft facing balcony cabin. Always wanted to try one. Not sure we’ll do it again. Gives a very limited perspective on where you are and where you are going. The cabin seemed smaller than other balcony cabins, but that might just be this is an older ship. The balcony, while slightly larger than average actually gives you less privacy because of the angled side partitions. Read Less

The cabin was small but clean and comfortable. Had 2 twin beds put together and we couldn’t feel the crack between. There was a small desk, tv, and phone. There was a try with glasses, and bottled water (pricey). The bathroom was tiny and I can’t see an overweight person comfortably fit in the shower! It had hand soap, liquid body soap and conditioning shampoo. There was a safe and beside it, a small hair dryer. The balcony was just right! Fit two chairs and a small table. Had a perforated rubber floor and walls for privacy. Our cabin steward Bagus was always smiling, wishing us well, asking about our day and creating adorable creatures out of towels! Great experience! The cabin was the smallest we've ever experienced. And the shower set a record for most confining. Very clean but the cabin showed wear. The hair dryer did not work in the bathroom.

Needs to be updated. The sheets need to be changed daily, sheets weren’t changed at all during the whole stay.

We had an aft balcony cabin. Bathroom tiny, tiny. Shower, even tinier. Comfortable bed. Room so small the bedside table had to be turned sideways. No chair. Small sofa bed. No storage to speak of.

Family winter vacation : Cabin 0250
Sail Date: December 2017
We had 0249 and 0250 for our family of 5. We opened the connecting door so this was great. I loved the balcony. The room was spacious enough and comfortable.
