With room for up to three guests, these staterooms have two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Along with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a private balcony with an amazing aft-facing view and larger than normal balconies.
NICE! Beautiful decking on the balcony with high quality rattan lounge chairs. The cabin accommodations were comfortable. Our cabin service was exceptional. I was locked out of the room when the door slammed shut while putting my bag in the hallway the last night of the cruise for pickup and our steward was there in no time with a smile on his face to help me get back inside. What a dear! Read entire member review >>
Rear facing balcony was good - sufficient space for the time we spent in the room. It was slightly larger than my brother's oceanview on deck 10. The balcony had 2 loungers and a small table with a good sea view. The mattress was very comfortable -firm yet well padded, no squeaks or sagging. TV set worked well, not that we used it much, although the desk/dressing table was a bit small. Sofa was comfy, although we didn't extend it yo check it's sleep-worthiness.
Storage was more than adequate for our short trip, might have been a challenge with more people or clothes for a trip much longer than a week.
The bathroom was fine, very clean, at least visually since we aren't germophobes and did not do a germ count -lol! Sometimes ya gotta take thongs at face value! There was some bath fell/cleaner stuff provided but we brought our own. There was a retractable close line we were able to use to hang out swim wear, so that was handy......and the stuff actually dried!
Our cabin steward was excellent! He had the room spic and span every day while we were at breakfast, provided extra towels as requested AND left us wonderful towel art every day.
The only bad cabin-related thing that happened was the adjacent corner cabin (9275) flooded one night and some water leaked into our room so our carpet was a bit damp in the morning. Not sure what happened to those passengers as the room had the door open, furniture on the wall, with large fans drying out the carpet the rest of the cruise. We couldn't hear the fans in our room. Bed was hard as a rock, lumpy and tilted toward the head, pillows are no better. Bathroom was TINY. Shower about the size of a round outdoor trashcan lid.(not exaggerating on that size either!!) Aft Balcony was OK but all the trash from the deck above was always blowing down on us Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great! It was clean, everything was in working order, and having a balcony that held two chairs and a lounge chair was amazing! We spent every time in and out of port there. I will never take another cruise without paying extra for a balcony, and the aft-facing ones seem to be larger with even better views. My daughter and her boyfriend where four cabins down from us in 0265 and had the same type of cabin but complained of some mildew smell. Once they told the steward, he did something and it seemed to help. Read entire member review >>
The cabin needed upkeep and maintenance. One bed was falling apart and the other sqeaked so loud that it kept everyone awake. It was not a comfortable cruise and far from the luxury experience I was promised. I would not recommend this to anyone based on my experience. Read entire member review >>
Great room. Spacious enough with a balcony with two loungers, a chair and small table. The outer walls help provide shade on the balcony. Some noise in the evening from a party somewhere, but we were rarely there early enough to know if it was an all-the-time problem. Read entire member review >>
A little tight with 3 of us, but manageable. Comfortable beds and pillows (we each asked for extra pillows when booking). (Bring an extension cord as there's only one outlet) Read entire member review >>
very clean...have never seen a shower so small...but it worked out fine. the staff kept room well stocked w/clean towels etc & it was a surprise to find towels designed into cute animals waiting on our bed. Read entire member review >>
Aft-facing Balcony are GREAT! This was a wonderful room that provided 180 degree views all around the ship. Unlike the cabins on the port or starboard side where you can only see what’s happening on one side of the ship, you can see everything from an aft facing balcony. On departure, we sat on our balcony and saw all of the sights of Miami and Southbeach. In Nassau we had great views of Paradise Island and the Atlantis hotel, along with views of Nassau. The room was smaller that expected for a top-priced standard balcony. Just a small love seat next to the balcony door vs. a full sofa. The Sky is also starting to show its age with some wear and tear on the furnishings. You get a little vibration and noise from the engines. And on Deck 8, you are right above the theater, so you will get some music if you are in your room during a show. However, the panoramic views outweigh any downside of being close to the engines. We booked a suite with balcony, so we expected extra services. Butler and concierge were a waste of time and money.
Our suite was nice - living area with separate bedroom. Balcony was accessible from both rooms. The first day people in suite above us threw pretzels at the birds. Unfortunately most of the pretzel pieces fell on our balcony. The cleaning staff never swept our balcony or vacuumed the carpeting. It rained 3 of the 4 days, so we had pretzel mush on the balcony and carpet. Read entire member review >>
We love aft cabins. The cabin was small but clean. The bathroom was small and the shower was smaller, but clean as well. It was comfortable for 2 people. The balcony was perfect except they had too many chairs, 2 chairs and 2 loungers and a table, which made it a little squishy. It was all perfect. Aft cabins are above the theater so it is quite loud when there is a show. Luckily there is only one show in the evening, but sometimes in the afternoon when there is rehearsal, it gets loud too, but not for long though. Read entire member review >>
Room: 9276 – Aft-facing balconyOur Personal Cruise Consultant picked this room for us. It was FAB! He said Deck 10 in under the outdoor restaurant so deck 9 is better. The views from the aft facing balcony were fabulous & exciting to see.Room size is just ok. Not enough storage, but for a short cruise it was ok. The shower was extremely small. Not a big deal for us, but I’m sure it is for some. Read entire member review >>
Aft Balcony Cabin 9076: Tiny, tiny, tiny. Cracked lampshades, debris left by prior guests in cabin still there upon our arrival; the balcony advertised as "larger" was barely large enough for 2, tiniest I've ever had. We had maybe 6-8 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall to walk around the bed. The shower was extremely small, I barely fit and able to turn around and I'm no large person (5'3", 130lbs). The room (aft facing balcony room on deck 10) was larger than expected. Large bed, little desk area and small bathroom. The balcony was nice and had two beach chairs. Unfortunately, you don't get a whole lot of privacy. It's rather easy for people staying at either side of your room to look into your balcony. Not to mention that it can be seen from the public deck above. Otherwise, the balcony had a nice view.
The mini bar was locked until the next day but I'm not sure if this was intentional or not.
I would have loved a Wi-Fi option in the Stateroom, even if I had to pay for it. There is only Wi-Fi in certain public areas. It's slow and expensive.
There should be more TV channels in the room. Read entire member review >>
Aft facing balcony. Small closet, very nice view. Carpet needs replacement, not much storage space. Bath is cramped. We had a bit of debris falling on us when we were on the balcony as we were just below (deck 10) the Garden Cafe. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin, had a curtain we could close to help baby sleep in travel cot. Not much room left when travel cot up but expected this. Balcony big and offered great views.
Very quite room, a little noise from the hallway but as we were at the end of the ship found not many people passed by. Read entire member review >>
Good balcony - light cabin as it has glass across the whole of the end wall (includes a sliding door to the balcony). Some noise from the Outdoor cafe above but not enough to complain about or wake you up, mainly at 5.30am when the crew clean the deck, but if you were awake you heard it for 5-10 minutes at most.
