My husband and I sailed on the Pearl in early October. The check-in process was fine. We were glad to get on board after the long flight from Dallas/Newark.
Our OV room had quite a bit storage space with 2 sets of 3 drawers a nice sized closet and shelves adjacent and above. This was important as we were doing back to back cruises. The second being a Transatlantic.
It had been many years ...
Itinerary went to several ports we had visited before and would enjoy again and three that we had never visited and wished to. Everything about the ship is "first class." Clean everywhere; good food in all public restaurants; good entertainment; very friendly and helpful personnel. I got it in my mind that NCL does a superb job of hiring the perfect personality types to be constantly engaged ...
We chose this cruise on the ship,Norwegian Pearl, because of the itinerary/ports. Felt the cruise price was fair, although all the shore excursions did add up because there was so many ports. Loved the casual atmosphere and all of the complementary restaurants that were included. We had the most wonderful time. Our favorite restaurant were the Summer Palace and Indigo. Excellent choices of ...
An amazing cruise exposing us to new areas that we definitely want to return to for a longer vacation. The ship, the service, the food and itinerary were just perfect for us. We liked that we were in a different port in a different part of the world every day. We took several ship organized tours which were very well done and provided us with background information on the sites we were ...
This cruise had all the sites we wanted to visit
However, some ship personnel don't know were the rest is and ask Bar Tenders where it is.
When I ask the stateroom attendant to please change the towels, he foes into this big lecture about leaving towels on floor to change, I don't need this idiot.
I purchase the drink package and was being charged for water, freshly squeezed orange juice ...
Last year we had taken a cruise on the Norwegian Gem's Haven class suites through the Caribbean and had a great time in a 2 bedroom suite. Sea days were passed by the pool or the sun deck in a relaxed atmosphere where guests sipped on cocktails, read a good book or just relaxed and took sun. Service was excellent, meals were served by the pool if you didn't feel like moving and there were only ...
We have sailed on all of NCL's Jewel class ships and love them all. They are large enough that there is plenty to do, yet small enough that it has a "neighborhood" feel. We are Platinum Plus as well as Ruby in the casino, so embarkation was a breeze for us. We always get a 2 bedroom suite (non-haven) since most of our cruises are longer (this was 29 days) and we need that extra room for our ...
We have been looking for a long time and we thought we got a great value for our money ! It took a long time before I felt comfortable enough to be on a big ship for a long time. All of that worry went out the window when we first boarded the ship...If all the cruises on Norwegian are like this you might just have a customer for life...The entertainment was wonderful and balanced with something ...
This was our first cruise in Europe as we are from Australia.
The organisation getting on the ship at Rome was very well organised and very quick compared to other cruises we have been on.
The rooms were very nice, well fitted and clean, also among the best we have experienced.
We did not like the dining experience on deck twelve as it was like pigs feeding at the trough.
Other ...
We took this cruise following my daughter’s wedding in Positano. We were a group of 10, and thought the ports of call looked interesting—and many were. My husband and I love to cruise, and are pretty faithful to Celebrity, so I can’t help but compare this NCL experience to those of our Celebrity cruises to Europe.
The ship itself is in pretty good shape—clean and well-maintained. The ...
