Lovely cabin with 2 bedrooms, big balcony, huuuge bathroom - bigger than ours at home. Plenty of room, great coffee maker. However, the child lock on the balcony did not work properly, even after maintenance visited. They got it to lock for us, but once we opened it to enjoy the balcony, it would not lock again for us. Even the butler couldn't do it. I think they should have taken this safety issue more seriously. Two rambunctious boys. I would have felt better with a locking balcony. But the door was heavy enough I didn't think they could get it open by themselves, so I tried not to worry. Read entire member review >>
Can't say enough. Flowers, fruit, refrigerator, safe, wonderful. Small second bedroom but adequate for a fried or relative, Really not enough room for two adults. Master bath beyond words. Fancy shower and separate whirlpool bath, both we sea views. Watch yourself while in port. Bathroom also has television by bathtub and a telephone by toilet. TV's in both bedrooms and living room. Fantastic. Roomy with great amenities and service from the minute you board. The current suite butler was Leo and we felt so fortunate to have had his assistance. He went above and beyond to help cater to our critics activities. He made sure that all the needs were met in the suite. The suite is bright and clean and as I said, roomy.at the end of the cabin Kroll we had a social in the suite in it amazed me how many of us it held! Lol
The coffee maker (that really isn't a good description for it) is a coffee lovers dream come true!
As for my guest that was a first time cruiser, She has already purchased the deposit special for future cruises they are offering and I would say like so many of us, She is hooked!!
Happy cruising everyone! Read entire member review >>
This cabin seems to be under the shuffleboard area, so when out on the balcony we could hear that. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Amazing space, no complaints. Huge master bathroom. Windows at the bathtub and shower. Comfortable furniture throughout the suite.
Second bedroom has a futon type bed which was turned down and made up every evening so my mother in law didn't have to bother with it, she also said that she was quite comfortable with the bed and never had any complaints.
Coffee machine was nice to have even though I was the only one to use it.
After having this much space you will never be able to go back to a small stateroom. Read entire member review >>
Very very good cabin to have. There is disturbance from dropping of weight in the gym just above. But this is marginal and not as big a deal as made out to be. I got to hear on an average about 2 mild to moderate thuds per 24 hrs. The gym closes at 10.30pm. So nights had zero thuds. Read entire member review >>
We were pleased with our cabin. Since there were five of us, DH and I took the large bedroom, MIL took the small bedroom and the kids took turns sleeping in the bunk and on the sofa bed. We LOVED the large bathroom and the kids loved the bathtub and shower. The space was so nice – we all had room to spread out and get away from each other when we wanted. As a note, both the large bedroom and the living room had DVD players. The location was good, since it was so far forward we had very little traffic and only heard people above us in the morning and afternoon when the spa was open. Although it was a hike to dining, it was fine since we needed the exercise. The beds were comfortable. Read entire member review >>
This is a lovely cabin and very spacious. The childrens room was a little cramped for my two boys as they could nbot get changed together in their.
We loved the little touches like chocolates and fruit and always having coffee for the coffeee maker.
The master bedroom is very comfortable and the views from the bathroom window are amazing. The shower is also better than my one at home!
The one drawback of this cabin is that it is under the end of the pool deck and for two nights when they had pool parties there we were kept awake until 1.30am by the boom boom of the base on the disco. After complaining to our concierge we were given compensation. there were also a lot of scraping noises at odd times as they cleared up.
I would not book this particular cabin again but definitely the same type. Read entire member review >>
Our room was 11006. The suite was nice because it had a sitting area, a nice large balcony and a table with 4 chairs. It had a LaVassa coffee maker that used little pods and had a steam attachment. In Glacier Bay I was taking pictures out on the balcony but it got too cold so I moved into the lovely master bath. The soaking tub with a tub to ceiling window was almost as good for taking pictures… until I fell asleep in the tub, fully dressed and a sister snapped a picture and posted it to Facebook as soon as she could. It was wonderful to have the sitting area... but the sleeping arrangements for 6 women? Well, they sucked. 2 people got the master bed, one got the fold out couch in the middle of the living room and 3 of us crammed into the dungeon, I mean kids' room, that had a fold out couch for 2 and a pulldown bed for 1. It was claustrophobic. I woke up every night covered in sweat and unable to breath. Also, I believe we were directly below the cold dunk tank in the spa one floor up from us. With every roll of the boat I could hear the gurgling in the dunk tank. The boat rolled constantly and the gurgle was LOUD. Read entire member review >>
This is a great cabin. We liked the location on deck 11. It was away from the lifts and near the front of the ship on the starboard side. Sometimes we could hear a noise like a ball rolling overhead (possibly from the bowling alley), however this was not annoying or intruisive. We loved the Lavazza coffee machine in the room and the double safe. Lots of storage space. The second bedroom is small with a pull out couch and a bed that comes down from the wall. It is very dark as it doesn't have windows - fine for a couple of children but I wouldn't put 2 adults in it. Having a bath and separate shower was great with the windows overlooking the ocean (just be careful in port)! Read entire member review >>
The penthouse suite we occupied was excellently appointed and spacious. The bath had a high wall which made access difficult. The King size bed was comfortable and so was the furniture in the living area. The dining table was small. The location of the suite was poor (under the bridge, facing forward)which meant that most of the time the ship was underway the balcony was unusable due to the high wind. The balcony was spacious, but modestly appointed, with a wicker table with a flexible top that made placement of drinks problematic. The location was adequately quiet. Read entire member review >>
The Category AB (2 Bedroom Family Penthouse Suite) is a wonderful choice for a family of five or six. The Suite Perks that you get is worth the extra cost.
The room is well laid out with a great bathroom. Tub overlooking the ocean, shower overlooking the ocean, double vanity, television over the tub.
However, this particular cabin is NOISY. The pool deck is overhead and we could hear the chairs being moved around and set up and taken down, and also, when the band was playing at the pool, it was very loud and could be heard clearly in the room. I would pick another suite on the other side, and more forward. Read entire member review >>
This deluxe suite was great. Once I got passed the colors, the cabin was roomy. It had plenty of room for our clothes. The bathroom with separate bath, shower, toilet, etc was great. I really liked the body sprays in the shower. The children's area of the cabin would have been great for kids with a separate bath and sleeping area.
The coffee machine was one that I've got to have. We had four flat screen TV's. It was priced right. The deluxe cabin has the perfect price point. You don't pay for the courtyard but you have the same as the courtyard villa's. Read entire member review >>
11506 is in a great location. Deck 11 starboard side. Furthest AB Penthouse (Ruby)forward. Great room layout, 2 baths: 4 beds (including couch/pull out). Butler (Randy) service was nice. Nice amenities in room to include bath robes and personal coffee/espresso machine. Fully stocked minibar. Read entire member review >>
Garnet Penthouse 11030: Nice location with quick easy access to the pool and spa. Exit room, turn right, up one flight of stairs (or elevator), turn left for the spa and right for the pool. Loved the balcony with overhang that allowed us to be outside even in the rain. Nice sized closet in master bedroom, smaller of course in 2nd bedroom. Plenty of storage space though. Favorite item in the room, SAECO Incanto coffee machine! Living room couch not comfortable to curl up and watch tv however looks good and serves its purpose for entertaining. The penthouse bathrooms are the most beautiful on the ship. Telephones and tv's in all rooms. (4 each) Wireless phone available to carry around the ship so you can stay in touch with others on board. Nice feature that we used more than we thought we would. Only downside to this cabin (also others on deck 11 under the pool deck) the deck share are put out at 0600 daily. Not too noisy but if you are a light sleeper you'll hear it. Other cabins seen that we also liked, categories: A3 same as ours but isolated on deck 13. Didn't care for that plus ship vibration felt up on deck 13. AD, very nice many nice features and has the nice coffee pot! AF, very nice a little smaller and the awesome coffee pot isn't available in this category. BA, nice cabin, smaller bathroom however this is something I could stay in and enjoy. No cabins without balconies viewed. Garden Villa, very nice but a bit over the top for me. Read entire member review >>
AB Penthouse is a fantastic room. Be aware however that the master bath shower is not very deep from shower wall to glass. The location is the farthest aft of all the AB suites on the ship. It was underneath the ping pong table area which could get loud during the day when the weather is nice. Read entire member review >>
The Penthouse Suite is a good size but the kid's room would be very crowded for more than two. Our cabins stewards didn't provide much service, we had to ask for clean towels and ice. Read entire member review >>
