"My wife went to guest services to find out why we were charged and was then told the drinks were charged to my 16 year old son’s account and since he did not have the alcohol drink package, that why he was charge.At various times this charge was removed and added back in several times while watching my onboard account during the week, and my wife again had to go to guest services when additional errors occurred of charges put on our account...."Read More

We always wanted to cruise Panama Canal and were excited about the itenerary. We are long time NCL cruisers but oir experience fell below our seasoned expectations. We have always loved NCL.
The ship was recently renovated and we miss the wine bar. Decor is nice.

This cruise has long been delayed and postponed due to COVID. Began in Quebec where embarkation was very impressive. Very smart to have check in times. Cabins have much less storage space. The safety video is smart but very annoying to get MULTIPLE emails indicating the need to watch it. Someone should fix this. The 24 hour Sheehans is nice to have as a backup for meals. Embarkation in Boston September 30, 2022
Went very smoothly ESPECIALLY as we were first cruise without pre-Covid Test requirement and ArriveCan requirement. Our check-in time was 10:00-10:30. We were onboard having lunch by 11:30 AM. After lunch we checked in to our Muster Station assignment.

We picked this cruise out of Boston for the Canada and Maine destinations and enjoyed all five ports. We chose the Pearl because we live south of Boston & thought it would be great not to have to fly!
The Pearl is a very nice ship, but having some elevators not go to some decks was hard to maneuver, especially with someone in a wheelchair & another with COPD.

Embarkation was confusing due to discrepancies with Bermuda rules for testing. It it 4 days in advance. NCL - 3 days. On NCL webpage you can find statement - county rules supersedes NCL. Not so.
