Aft-Facing Balcony
You'll enjoy every inch of these staterooms, with enough space to sleep up to four guests. The two lower beds can be converted into a queen-size bed and the convertible sofa pulls out to sleep two more. You'll also have a sitting area and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony. Because these are aft-facing, the view from your balcony is amazing and truly unforgettable.

Aft Balcony (B1) 10168 was great! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. (2 twins form queen). Good storage space and don't forget to put luggage under the bed! Bathroom was good size for a cruise ship with sliding doors for the shower and separate toilet area for privacy. Plenty of shelves for stuff. I liked the fact that the hair dryer was in the room near the balcony door which freed up the bathroom. Our balcony was larger than BB balconies or other afts on different decks. It was 10 ft x 8 ft. Deck 10 so only cabins above and below. No ash, little wind and little vibration. Awesome view of the wake and on each side! Our daughters had the inside across from us (10167) which had the head of their beds facing forward instead of side to side. Their bathroom was different with the toilet area and sink area together. (They did not have the slider toiler area that we did). Read Less

We were fortunate to book two side-by-side BA staterooms on the very back of the ship, deck 9. I cannot say enough good things about the view from these rooms! Wake view and you can see both port and starboard views as well. We saw so many whales feeding in our wake while heading into Juneau. Amazing! The room was fine with regards to size. Suitcases fit under the bed perfectly. Another tip with the rooms is to buy a clear over-the-door shoe holder to hang over the towel bar on the bathroom door. Great suggestion from another CC member to hold all of our toiletries without cluttering the counter of the bathroom. Also, we definitely made use out of the in-room coffee maker while in Glacier Bay. Bring some of the hot chocolate packets back to your room from the Garden Cafe, heat up some water, and voila! Yummy goodness while viewing the glaciers from our balcony. Read Less

Great balcony. Room for 2 loungers, 2 chairs, and a small table. Only draw back was people in above cabin smoking and dropping their ash and cigarettes which wound up on our balcony.
