An entire week of our toilet not flushing and flooding. Spent half our vacation at the service desk trying to get our toilet fixed. Then on the last day Norwegian offered a room change...when we would be getting off the ship the next day. Multiple times we had to get up in the middle of the night and use a public washroom on another floor. What a nightmare. How is this acceptable for what is meant ...
This was our third cruise with NCL. The first cruise was on a Breakaway Plus Class and I give that a 5 out of 5. The second was the Pearl and we give that a 4 out of 5 but this new flagship Prima class is sadly a 2 out of 5. This is a brochure ship that it looks fun for all with the flashy race track (that takes up so much of the upper decks that you don’t see much sun) the pay mini golf and darts ...
This was my and my wife’s tenth cruise on NCL and was our favorite cruise line until this cruise. I started having reservations about this ship as well as the Prima after reading reviews. A lot of the complaints that people had didn’t really bother me, but I was concerned about some.
The good. We had balcony on deck 11, it was good. The housekeeper was excellent, never had to wait for room to ...
We cruised from Galveston on Norwegian PRIMA to Mexico, Belize, Honduras.
Pros:
1) Spacious, clean room with a fantastic steward (Wayan for the win!!!)
2) Casino (-1 because bring a drink with you; beverage service is non-existent)
3) Extremely polite and friendly guests (many from Canada & Texas)
4) Ample Trivia Games (-1 for lame/no prizes)
5) No safety drill (-1 Where are the ...
Pros: New ship, thus in good condition
Cabins nice, larger, good decor
Bathrooms nice, larger
Little seating areas nice, if you find one open
Indulge fast food court, order electronically, and within minutes your food appears
Cons:
* you pre pay tips, then they sock you an additional $20 per person, per day when you are on the ...
Where do I begin:
Bad food, lack of dining space, high prices for everything including tips and surcharges. Two good restaurants: The buffet and Murano (with additional charges, expensive). The room (family room) had a drop down bunk bed. Had to get onto the bed sideways. Room very tight to move around; no real place to sit down! Safe inacessible for a short person (I am 4-11 1/2). ...
Went on this cruise because we had been on the Jade before and it was really fantastic.Hmmm well not any more really disappointing, the food was just awful and very repetitive, hardly any choice, there was just nothing that I could say I enjoyed.its really sad as I was really looking forward to it.
All the staff seemed fed up as though they didn’t want to be there,I was not happy as the toilet ...
The staff were friendly and helpful. For the most part, waiters were attentive, but the food left a lot to be desired. I’m not a picky eater, but I had trouble finding one entree that appealed to me each evening in the main dining room. The best dessert was usually the sherbet or ice cream choice. I got food poisoning the third day of the cruise as did another guest I talked to. Since the food is ...
I wish I could erase this cruise from memory. If you like extreme drinking and loud cruises, this is for you, us, not at all. Unfortunately it has given us doubt to ever go on a freestyle type cruise. The bars were packed from sun up to closing, sadly it was the same people everyday. You simply could not walk up to a bar to get a drink, it took forever. And no one walking around taking drink ...
If you are old or like to read a book and play cards with yourself, this ship is for you. If you enjoy life and having fun, and enjoy seeing others have fun, this ship is not for you. Entertainment was awful. The main show (Donna Summers) is about the most depressing thing you could watch on a cruise. The racetrack is a complete waste of space. The cars are not fast enough to entertain a ...
