This was supposed to be an incredible trip - two sisters exploring 5 exotic Baltic Sea ports. Only it turned out to be 2 Baltic Sea ports, a lot of excuses and non compensation for our ruined vacation.

I've been on 5 NCL cruises prior which have all been great but this one has by far been the worst cruise experience I have ever encountered. My main issues are with the guest services and shore excursion staff.

I have travelled with NCL and other cruise lines around 20 times and always recommended NCL as my favourite, but not anymore. The ship itself is a nice ship and the staff on board were generally excellent. Food in the main and speciality restaurants was good and there is plenty of entertainment.

NCL is sloppy, low class and thieving. Keep ALL receipts! They added on erroneous charges to my card after I signed off and disembarked this nightmare of a ship, specifically NCL Star.
