We choose this cruise to visit as many places possible in Greece. Having the opportunity to visit, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey were a bonus for us.
The ship , the entertainments, the food, the atmosphere and the staff were amazing !.
We like NCL and we will highly recommend this cruise line to anyone that would like to have options and relax in a good environment.
Everything ...
The itinerary was great starting Rome and including Taormina Sicily, Rhodes, Egypt and Turkey. Unfortunately Israel was missed due to the tragic conflict at time of cruise. The ship doesn't have the latest amusements or slides so not great for children and the passengers were generally older than usual on this itinerary. The cabin we had was small with an obstructed lifeboat view on deck 8. We ...
We were looking for our first Med Cruise and to possibly branch out to a different cruise line. We settled on the opportunity to take the maiden cruise of a brand new ship, the Norwegian Viva, as it happened to have an ideal itinerary for us as it traveled from Venice (Trieste) to Lisbon. From the moment we stepped on the ship and were greeted with all the new novelties and layout along with the ...
We were thinking of cruising for a few years, because we liked the idea of waking up at a different destination every morning, without packing and unpacking. But we were a bit hesitant: we live in Hungary, which does not have a sea side, the closest sea port is 500 km away, so cruising is not really a thing here. Hence we don't know many people with first hand cruise experience... We had a lot of ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary and dates. The small cruise ship exceeded our expectations. It was not a full cruise, so we never waited in line for anything. The balcony room was a decent size with adequate storage for 2 people. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was nice. We used most of the facilities, including the gym. The dining facilities were always available. I ...
We are not seasoned cruisers so take this review with a pinch of salt as others might have other standards/views. This is our 3rd cruise, the first on NCL Epic then one on MSC Seaview and this one on the Gem. We started cruising on huge ships because of my fear of seasickness and I was a bit worried to go on a smaller ship due to this. However, we loved much better this size of the ship and it ...
I chose this cruise because my family and some friends were going on a reunion. The cruise was simply amazing. The staff was friendly and professional and they always followed up with our requests. Our stateroom housekeepers always kept our room clean and provided soap and other items when I asked for them. The food and services were excellent. My family and I always ate our meals in the buffet or ...

I had never been on a cruise and I wanted to get that experience under my belt. When my daughter took a first cruise to the Mediterranean with friends, I decided I would book a cruise. Visiting Venice had also been on my list of things to do and this cruise helped me kill 2 birds with one stone. My DH, our son and his girlfriend completed the group.
Getting on was a breeze because we waited ...
This was my first time ever going on a cruise and let me tell you..... my breath was taken away!!! Everything, and when I say everything, I really mean EVERYTHING was amazing!!!! The staff were extremely nice and helpful, all the food/dining area was great, the shows were out of this world, and I just had the most amazing time. There was always something to do on the cruise as well. My friends and ...
