Good cruise

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

I chose this cruise because it covered many ports that have been on my bucket list, all within the same cruise. The embarkation in LA was a bit congested, and very difficult to hear any announcements regarding boarding groups, so people were confused as to where and when to get on board. The ship and my cabin were very good. Dining was good except the menus in the dining rooms never seemed to ...

An amazing cruise on an amazing ship

We had not cruised for 15 years. The Panama Canal was always on our bucket list and, we booked this cruise rather hastily as the time and price were right. We had never cruised on NCL before and loved the amenities on the ship, the freestyle dining and how hard the crew worked to keep the ship clean and us healthy. The food was excellent in both the complimentary dining and specialty ...

An Excellent Cruising Experience for a First Time Norwegian Cruiser

I wanted to cruise the Panama Canal and this trip was available at a suitable time. Life aboard ship was excellent as we were made to feel like part of the Norwegian family. The dining experience was superb but all the staff made us feel comfortable in their home. I enjoyed having a choice of cheeseburgers or pizza for lunch. I am a bridge player and was very pleased to find that Norwegian had ...

NCL SUN South America Cruise March 2019

I chose this cruise to explore western South America and specifically to go to Macchu Pichu. Also to travel the Panama Canal one more time. It did not disappoint. As usual, NCL tours are well planned and the guides are very professional. Embarkation at San Antonio was probably the easiest of any port I've done so far. Some sparse facilities in a warehouse, but they moved us through quick and it ...

Great 5 Day Cruise

Chose this cruise, to take advantage of an extra 15% discount, being afforded to us, due to a cancelled cruise. Frankly I have read some snobby reviews, about this ship, it's staff, and the food. My wife and I were well pleased with all of the above. We were surprised to learn, that this was a complimentary beverage sailing. We are not big drinkers, but got our money's worth from that perk. We ...

Booked this cruise as a means to achieving a long held curiosity to see South America. By sailing this cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago and following that up with the Santiago to Miami leg we were able to see a great deal if not the full monty. Not much space to do justice to 30great days but I’ll try! The Sun is a small ship and did suffer because of this at times on the first leg on sea ...

Wonderful first cruise

Our daughter, her husband, and our 2 grandchildren were touring South America, and the San Antonio, Chile to Buenos Aires, Argentina cruise allowed us to spend 2 weeks with them. By arriving in Chile a day before our cruise allowed us to climatize and have a relaxed embarkation. The embarkation was well organized and trouble free. The Norwegian Sun is a wonderful ship and layed out well. The ...

This trip had always been on my bucket list. We flew to Buenos Aires and explored the city for two days. BA has been called the Paris of the South. It is a beautiful and elegant city. We were impressed by the Norwegian Sun's renovations. The ship looked beautiful, clean and brand new. Our first stop was beautiful Montevideo, Uruguay, a historical lovely city. Our second stop was Punta del Este, ...

A Suite life on the Sun

We were very excited to be on this 14 night Buenos Aires to Santiago (via Cape Horn) sailing, and particularly pleased when our upgrade bid moved us from a Mini-Suite to a Forward Facing Penthouse with Balcony (SH). As there is lots of good information about this amazing itinerary, I will focus on the experience of being a suite guest. As NCL embarkation was actually on the ship (because of ...
