We chose Norwegian Spirit for the itinerary since we are huge fans of LOTR and The Hobbit movies. Love ships that are not huge megaships
This ship had 100 million dollar update to old old ship. Great job. Set up for seniors
Nice huge adult area in rear of ship. Deck 10-12, quiet, bar , pool, new chairs, big cushions. Good job

First time on Jewel, this was cruise 60 for me. Been to New Zealand many times. Embarkation and disembarkation was long and delayed due to port authorities and health checks for the Coronavirus. Not fault of Norwegian, There was an outbreak of gastro which made the bistro and main dining room difficult as everything was handled and served by staff. Everything was disinfected over and over.

After receiving an upgrade to a penthouse suite our cruise was absolutely amazing. I would challenge any cruise to serve up a better meal than that of Le Bistro. Every dining experience was excellent even the regular buffet.
