This was our fourth cruise. Cruised on the Epic from Puerto Rico to ST. Kitts, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and back to New York. Sold out voyage with 4500 passengers. If you like crowds, lots of noise and lineups to get in to the restaurants then this is the cruise for you. I just got back from a cruise on this ship and the layout is terrible. There is no atrium, no floor where you can walk around the entire ship and see the beautiful ocean views. They had a jogging track that went up and down the length of one side of the ship but the lifeboats blocked the entire view. This ship has the worse layout of any of the 8 ships I have been on. Our 1st time In The Haven and the only thing good is the food, and special treatment getting on and off ship. Our room is not in the haven it’s at the end of the shop so every time you want to go to your room you have to walk the whole length of the ship. Cons- The ship is old and in desperate need of upgrades. The biggest issue is the rust and soot that come out of the stacks and stains your clothes. Everything is covered in it, towels, floors and windows. Every barrier glass and window we saw was filthy. It does not wash out. Understaffed and crowded. Lines everywhere for everything.
