Cruise was recommended by a friend.
I usually sail with Royal Caribbean lines.
I thought I would try a different one. You really notice the cut backs on this ship. Food wasn’t great service was slow and tables weren’t clean sometimes took other people’s dishes away so we could have their table. Cut back on shows same 3 guys playing piano and singing for the 11 days not much entertainment. ...

For a 11 day cruise there was only non NCL production and one NCL crew show. The rest of the nights were fill ins that were not all that great. It was some thing to do but not the quality that you would expect from NCL on a 11 day cruise.

Went to Italy, Greece and France August 23, 2023. This cruise is geared towards families with small children and teens. Good for them. However, if you don’t want to see teens hanging around or kids in strollers in bars or the casino, do not book this ship. There was not enough adult shows or activities to keep us entertained at night.

Let’s start with the good tomatoes;
NCL App easy to use
Cabin was really comfortable including the bed. I stayed in the Studio Lounge as a solo traveller. The lounge provided coffee and tea facilities along with cake and biscuits.
Staff were super friendly and helpful no matter when they were working

European itinerary appealed to us. Everything on/off this ship was a struggle; meals, shore excursions, etc. - transfer from airport was a nightmare. We booked airfare through the cruise line due to discounts, but upon arrival in Rome there was no organization to get the cruisers on the transfer busses. Bummed, why? Staff working so hard and so friendly, but not given the resources or environment for exceptional customer service. Beware Norwegian ships when fully loaded as our Breakaway cruise was in May as we took a 10 day cruise around the eastern Mediterranean. Expect long lines and a crowded cafeteria.

I choose this cruise through Costco travel. There were some perks for booking with Costco and i was interested in the itinerary going to Greek isles and the western side of Italy.
Good things.
We upgraded to a balcony and it was clean and comfortable.
We went to multiple ports and they were great for seeing things, like Pompeii, Pisa, Florence etc...
