We were a family of 11 people .... multigeneration ( grandparents , 4 adult couples and granddaughter ) and this ship accommodated everyone perfectly ! No worries at all, from food to entertainment it was a 6 star experience ! We also had multiple dietary needs , vegan, vegetarian and kosher , and ALL were catered to individually and deliciously ! Kudos to Brendan and Charlotte ( our matre de) ...
We chose this cruise for the ports, the dates, and the Haven Suites experience. The cruise staff at the restaurants and bars and cabin steward were outstanding, especially those working in the Haven lounge & dining. The food served in the Haven was outstanding.
We booked the Haven Spa Suite expecting a superior more deluxe experience. The first couple of days met and exceeded our ...
Norwegian Esacape was a really Lovely ship and we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. However the Pool on the top deck was way too small for the amount of passengers onboard - so this definitely was a big down point for this voyage! The Speciality restaurants were really nice but to be honest the regular dining restaurants were probably up to the same standard.
Loved the whole experience of ...
I have travel with most of the US cruise lines before. This was my 6th cruise with NCL. We did the first cruise with them before Covid and loved everything about it. First their attention to clean with their "washy washy" and also their free style. Haven is another world. Their attention to detail in every aspect. This was our second cruise in summer 2022 in the Getaway. We did a Baltic cruise ...
We booked our cruise in March for July through travel agent. We have a 3 and 5 year old. This was our family vacation this year. All in all, we spent about $6k. We got an inside stateroom , fine, nothing to write home about. On top of that we added the unlimited internet package so we could watch our kids on a babycam we were bringing after they went to sleep while we were at the bar, as well ...
We chose the Pearl because we live south of Boston & thought it would be great not to have to fly!
The Pearl is a very nice ship, but having some elevators not go to some decks was hard to maneuver, especially with someone in a wheelchair & another with COPD.
Embarking was a nightmare. We had a 10am check in. We were escorted to a hallway with seating & never boarded until 11:45! But to ...
My partner and I chose this NCL rather expensive cruise because half of the 11-day cruise time was to be spent in Greenland. When we were checking in at the cruise terminal at Reykjavík, we got our first unpleasant surprise of the cruise, The Captain had cancelled all the Greenland ports and was taking the ship to Norway before heading back to Iceland for the last 4 days of the cruise. If we had ...
orwegian provided a nice room with great service, and the staff were very friendly throughout the ship. We especially liked Allen in the Cigar Lounge area. Specialty restaurants were excellent, and the loyalty program gave us lots of great perks at Platinum level. A few main disappointments though: (1) Having dinner in the regular dining rooms took forever. Not sure why there is a huge break ...
We went as a family with two teens and had two standard balcony cabins. We did a one week cruise in the Mediterranean. Our teens enjoyed the cruise a lot, the cabins where alright and the food really good as well. Unfortunately, NCL seems to have organizational problems which impair the cruise experience quite a lot. The examples given below for the oddities we experienced speak for themselves. We ...
I cruised the Breakaway for a week going to Hondurus, Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya and Harvest Caye. The ship was amazing, very clean and everything was beautiful. I had a room in the Haven and that was spectacular. Our Butler Romel was the absolute best one we could have. He was attentive, kind and brought us the most amazing snacks. He was there in minutes when we needed anything at all and we ...
