We sailed the Prima out of Port Canaveral....excited that it was a new ship and that Norwegian touted it as their newest ship and that it was "A new way of cruising". This was my fourth cruise, and the first on NCL.
My prior three cruises were all Carnival (Glory, Breeze, Magic).
I will start by saying the Prima is "nice" in that it is brand new, well decorated, and very clean. My stateroom was a family balcony, 15772. Ports were Cozumel > Grand Caymen > Ocho Rios, Jamaica > Great Stirrup Cay. I traveled with my wife. We are 41/39 years old.

Pros:
Great air conditioning
Beautiful decor
Abundant outdoor spaces
Nice, large shower
Quick elevators
Cons:
Staff generally unhappy or lack a desire to provide a great customer experience. Our only positive experiences with staff were at Los Lobos and Hasuki. Staff in some shops were actually pretty rude.

This is our 4th Norwegian cruise and for the FIRST time I am extremely disappointed! We cruise on different cruise lines and Prima it’s NOT worth your money, if you are looking for a good experience. I returned from this cruise and can only say I loved the entertainment..only and my company.
1: staff unfriendly
2: layout of boat, choppy and overwhelming

The Prima is a beautiful ship, but it became apparent that form over function was in play. The Ocean Blvd was cool, but the Casino was cramped and unappealing.
