Amazing ship, awesome cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

We (my mother and I) chose this cruise specifically to be on this brand new ship. The new design, infinity pools and other attractions intrigued us and we were dying to try it out. We booked our cruise long before she was even built! We were not disappointed. I have read all the negative reviews and some have a point, the ship cannot accommodate the number of people they book. It was ...

This cruise and crew aboard were outstanding!

Chose this cruise because it was going where we wanted to go. Embarkation was a breeze and all crew had smiles on their faces at all times. Crew members were friendly and helpful too. Loved Savor and the Garden Café Buffet. Good food, just don’t expect spicy foods as meals are prepared to feed many people of differing tastes and dietary requirements. Overall this was the best cruise ever! Ports ...

We recently enjoyed a wonderful week aboard the NCL Escape. I traveled with my daughter and four year old granddaughter from Central IL on American Airlines connecting in Charlotte, NC to Orlando. I decided that the Charlotte airport is a nice alternative to our usual O ‘Hare although there is not a Garrett’s Popcorn in Charlotte! We did the Go Port package and stayed at the La Quinta near the ...

The Food Hall is the best part of this ship!

We decided on this cruise because we wanted to try the Prima. According to the reviews, you either love it or hate it. I loved it. The Indulge Food Hall was amazing. The food was different (and authentic, well-seasoned and varied). The service was great, and it was fast. That was one of the best parts of the ship. The small pools on either side of the ship, together with the lounge chairs, ...

NCL removed all the tacky from cruising!

We loved this ship! It’s beautiful, the small spaces are awesome, the food was delicious (loved the local, indulge, Hudson’s, Le bistro), the kids club was loved by my 11 yo. NCL took all the tacky out of cruising (don’t worry the tacky art and casino are still there but the casino is OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!). It’s more like a fancy yacht. The loud pool still has your silly competitions and loud ...

My wife and I loved our time on Prima enough that were doing another 14 day sailing on her later in the year. The room was nicely laid out and spacious and the food was fantastic. We loved Indulge Food hall and tried 4 of the specialty restaurants (Food Republic, Palomar, Onda and Le Bistro). I knew my way around by the first day after embarkation and is no more confusing than any big hotel. The ...

Just took an Eastern Caribbean cruise on NCL Escape. Went to Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, and Tortola. We all had a wonderful time. The food was great in all the dining venues (Haven dining room, main dining rooms, specialty restaurants, buffet). The crew was very friendly and attentive. Our cabin was always clean, and our cabin steward was always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The ...

Loved the Escape and the Haven crew-horrible excursion in Puerto Plata

We chose this cruise because of the great deal they were offering, and we had never stayed in the Haven. We loved it because of the exceptional service from our Butler/room attendant to the entire wait staff at the Haven Restaurant which had exceptional food and service to our private bar and concierge. The food in the Haven was better than any of the specialty restaurants so we dined there 5 of ...

What am amazing trip! Loved every minute. Food was great no matter where you ate. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a blast playing games I'm the Atrium. Shows were amazing and fun. Ports couldn't have exceeded my expectations more. We actually made it to Great Stirrup Cay! It was beyond beautiful. Only snag the whole week was embarkation. This is only our second cruise. We're a gay couple in our 50's that really needed a relaxing vacation, and the NCL Escape/Haven was the perfect choice for us. We love the Haven and all the people that helped make our vacation wonderful. Our Butler, Flor, was always there with a friendly smile and eager to help you with anything you might need. Lunch on the balcony, no problem. She kept our ...
