Worse ship Ever

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

This was the worst ship I have ever been on. I don’t know who designed it. By the main pool was so small I have seen bigger pools in peoples yards. This one is for 4000 guests. They offer a vibe for adults. We were on board by 1120 trying to sign into vibe and it was sold out. All week long we looked at vibes and saw hardly anyone there. The casino is open to the Atrium area, so all you smell is ...

We loved our first 2 Norwegian cruises on the Sky, but I heard from 2 other passengers that it is now just a drunken party ship. This one, we couldn't wait to get off! We talked to several other guests who had similar experiences. Really too many to relate. Food wss mediocre- at best. Same thing on the buffet every day, somethings appeared to be leftover from last night's dinner. The waitstaff in ...

Bad food couldn't find decent food tried multiple resturaunts ate at Brazilian buffet waited 10min btw meats to come around and was not busy Italian resturaunt sauce was bland pasta was thick and hard. Buffet food was same bland no flavour. Other than the regular menu items anything else never tasted right. Most of the food looked good but never tasted like it should. I'm not a picky eater but ...

Worst cruise experience ever

My daughter-in-law chose this to see it such a great time on their last cruise however, we found this ship to be overcrowded with very few amenities. They call it freestyle however we need to get reservations for all shows comedy clubs and dinners. We tried to do them all online however it would not allow us to do several we had to wait until we were on the ship and do it by phone. The Buffett was ...

The timing worked out for this cruise as we were planning to be in Orlando at this time and this cruise was leaving Port Canaveral. Also, we had never taken an NCL cruise so after over 20 cruises on five other lines we wanted to try this one. We opted for the Sail Away oceanview state room. This allowed NCL to select our room. In spite of the words in their disclaimer we never thought they ...

I decided to surprise my adult son with a cruise and spent months planning the trip. We were very excited about the trip and had excursions booked but couldn't decide about a specialty dining package so we chose to wait until onboard. I've cruised before so knew what to expect but it was my son's first so it was important to leave a good impression. Embarking was quick and easy, despite waiting ...

we decided on this cruise because of the length of time the cruise was and because we had been on the Getaway 5 times within the last few years and loved it. This ship does not even come close to the service on the Getaway. I have been on over 80 cruises and almost all the cruise lines and this by far was the worst service. The ship itself was nice. The cabin we had was very nice 10138. It was ...

The Banging Nightmare!

Firstly I’d like to say I’ve been on other Norwegian Cruise Line ships and they have been great but this cruise was an unmitigated disaster and it’s really sad because I was on the Getaway the sister ship of the Breakaway recently and it was an AMAZING experience. Now onto the 11 day nightmare cruise so it all started pretty much night 1 when I though I heard banging and what sounded like ...

Took an NCL Western Caribbean cruise last year and wanted to share experience with family...what a mistake!! The food presentation was good but taste was very low quality. The desserts were the worst! Even the breakfast pancakes were clearly packaged and not fresh. Looooong waits between courses, 2 hrs+ for dinner. We chose dining rooms because it was the best of the worst. We did complain to ...

NCL unresponsive to our refund request after catching Ship Borne Virus

The staff provided very good service. Our butler and cabin attendant did a great job. The entertainment was very good and the food was good. However, My wife and I contracted a ship-borne virus on the afternoon of the 4th day of the cruise. We both received numerous injections and 2 days of IV medications, after two trips to the Medical Center in wheelchairs. We spent the remainder of the ...
