At 2600$ for a balcony garanty for 2 people, Panama canal cruise,,, it was a real deal. The canal is very impressive, same for the man who described, throughout the crossing, the operation of the canal and its history. That was really the highlight of the cruise. Let s continue on the positive side, my dw and I had big fun at the go-kart race track, the Element show was excellent,,, only one ...

Larger ship equal less quality of cruise??

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

We chose this cruise because we wanted to sail out of Port Canaveral on a Norweigian ship for Thanksgiving. We may have mistakenly thought that since it was a huge ship that it would be more luxurious than smaller ships have been on Norwegian cruise lines but were wrong. First of all we were waiting in cars for over 4 hours to even board the ship due to a problem with ship leaving NY. By the time ...

We chose this cruise because we were looking for a longer than 7 day cruise before the holidays. We had been on the Getaway 2 other times and were looking forward to this one. The ship was in good shape and the crew were friendly and helpful. Our room steward was the first we have had that never bothered to introduce herself. The room was fine, but the bed had seen better days with depressions on ...

Paid for Haven Penthouse Suite and Services, Got the Suite not the Services

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

My wife and I booked this cruise to have a week of carefree relaxation and bliss. A penthouse suite, a deck of 500+ feet, a couple of bathrooms, what more could you ask for? We splurged on the Haven experience after reading so many articles that Norwegian has provided to potential guest. Well, what Norwegian says and what Norwegian does is not the same. If one is going to spend $1,100.00+ ...

I personally am not a Norwegian cruise line fan. My 1st Cruise with them was on the Escape. Staff is amazing and accommodating. My Room Stewart was awesome. His name is Jairo. The wheelchair assistance help is also amazing. Her name was Jahnicia. Forgive me if I spelled her name wrong. The ship has plenty to do for adults. More of an older crowd ship. 50's and up. At least for this trip ...

We decided to go on this cruise due to the timing. Ship was all decorated for Christmas. We mostly dined at Taste and Savor . Did go to Garden couple of times & O'sheehans couple of times as well. Went to Cagney's for dinner one night and to La Cucina . Food and Service were Perfect. Ship being reduced capacity had only 1900 people and one would think would be more organized. I believe, Escape ...

This was our first cruise with Norwegian and our last. The cabin was super small. This was a common complaint among the passengers we met. With that said, the room was very clean. The food was subpar. The buffet had basically the same items daily. After 7 days, we didn't have much of an appetite. We dined in their seafood restaurant. The main dish was good, but the sides were cold. We ...

We chose this cruise based on their itinerary and length totally forgetting this is the beginning of Spring break, more later.... We left Cape Canaveral on March 3 and returned March 8th. Our destinations were Key West Fl. and Cozumel MX. The ship was the Norwegian Sun. This ship is one of the smaller ships in service in the Florida Caribbean circuit, the Norwegian Sun was renovated last year ...

We chose this cruise mostly due to it's economical price. But, also it fit into our schedule and after 2 cruises on another line we thought we would give Norwegian another try. We really liked Port Canaveral. It had good baggage service, the signage was easy to follow, and the Customer service reps were friendly and helpful. The Boarding process went smoothly as well. Once we found where ...

The food in the 3 main complimentary dinning rooms took a trip in the wrong direction since our last NCL cruise aboard the Epic 3 years ago. Not only; the food that was offered, but the preparation of it took a couple of steps down the ladder. Much of it was over done and lacked in flavor. We ate in three specialty dining restaurants Ocean Blue, Moderno, and Le Bistro. These restaurants were all ...
