Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

I would not recommend norwegian and for sure not norwegian prima to anyone especially if you have children! The worst vacation and cruise i have ever been on. We literally got off this yesterday morning and could not be happier to be off the boat. I have 3 kids under 5 and prior to booking our cruise i called the norwegian customer service to make sure the boat was kid friendly and kid ...

I will start by saying that we have sailed 4 times in the past 5 years with NCL and never had any issues. Last cruise, it was different…. First, let’s give credit where credit is due. The service staff was amazing. Our stewardess for the stateroom did a terrific job. We required additional electric cord to plug our CPAP machines and it was done promptly and without any hassle. Restaurants ...

I want to begin my overall comments by saying our room attendant and our server at the main dining room were outstanding. These folks aside, there seems to be a pervasive culture of mediocrity on NCL. NCL App: The app stopped working a few hours prior to our arrival. We had to go onto the website to search for our boarding passes, which also did not work very well. On board, there was little ...

My husband and friends decided to go on a couples cruise. The cruise embarked from Port Canaveral, FL on June 27, 2022. My cruise package included the premium food and drink package for both myself and my husband. Right after boarding the ship we decided to go for a drink. At the first bar we visited, the bartender charged me $12 for my drink stating we did not have the drink package on our ...

Customer service isn’t part of our culture

Norwegian Escape, 4/16 departure 1st trip after the Dominican grounding… day 3 & apparently bad weather and one port call cancelled and got a recorded message that my 2 different tours cancelled with no alternatives. Very disappointed by the lack of customer service when things go wrong. No real information of what’s going on other than ‘weather’ - that’s is all they said. Do yourself a favor, ...

A longtime Norwegian passenger (21 cruises with NCL; 42 total cruises), I am not unaccustomed to things not always going as planned and the need to be flexible when traveling, especially during these times with a pandemic. We took this 11 Night Southern Caribbean Holiday Cruise (12/23/21 to 1/3/22) specifically to celebrate the Holidays at sea on the Escape. Testing prior at the terminal ran ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

User Avatar

Due to having to use tenders, one port was canceled. At the other two, it took hours to re-board. The cruise director did a TERRIBLE job of communicating in Cozumel. Yes, there were a lot of ships which I understand makes it more congested. However, they refused to communicate over the loudspeakers as to how we were to disembark on the tenders, leading to mass confusion. It took us 4 hours to get ...

I thought this would be the most pleasureable cruise to take.. Boy was I wrong!! Terrible, Terrible, Terrible This cruise was done on the last ship (Breakaway) before the corona virus shut down. Crew served the food at buffet. (Another princess druise was found to have 21 cases of corona virus. 19 of 21 infected were crew members not passengers. But the crew was instructed tofeed ...
