Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

Prima is legitimately 2 ships in one. The Haven is aft for the first time and it is exclusive. Encompassing the entire aft of Prima from the 9th deck up, non-Haven guests can't even lay eyes on the Haven's decks from the highest vantage points on the rest of the ship. Private elevators provide Haven guests access to the beautiful public decks from their full quarter of the ship. There are no other ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

Why such varied opinions about the Prima? Well, she’s the new girl.  The new girl is different and quirky in a few ways, so “she’s not for everybody” is an accurate statement.  But this ship gets a lot of things right.  Just get to know her quirks like my wife and I, and you’ll have more than an “enjoyable” cruise. You’ll have a fantastic one.  But first and foremost, the ship is designed ...

While on board it was a good experience. Getting on and off the ship wasn't.

The cruise was lovely. Some hiccups as with all cruises but you learn to get through it and move along. I was traveling with a couple that my husband and I have traveled with before and shared the interior family suite with the virtual window - deck 11. Favorite location on the ship – The Observation Lounge! It was like being in a penthouse in the sky. Forward on the ship, there are windows ...

Escape from Nicole into hot & sunny Caribbean!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We arrived into Orlando from London Heathrow a day before the cruise departure. We didn't have any clue about the incoming hurricane Nicole. Its only when we switched on the local TV in the Orlando hotel we were staying at, that we found out that hurricane Nicole was going to make landfall in 2 days time. Shortly after we got an email from NCL that the ship would leave 2 hours earlier the ...

We have been on many cruises but this was our first on Norwegian. Also the first time that we had departed from Port Canaveral. We were joined on this cruise by our 5 year old granddaughter.....and her parents! We had checked in online and been assigned a 10 AM time for the terminal and the process went relatively smoothly and we got on the ship by 11:45 and in the cabin by 1:00 and baggage ...

Good trip off standard service

Good cabin balcony 13716 forward with longer walk to work off food. Good cabin steward kept the room clean, neat and was helpful with phone issue.. Entertainment was good, but limited number of shows. 3 shows on 2 nights for Burn the Floor. Savor had slow service several times. Food was good but did not compare to Escape in January this year. Private villa on island was great for large group ...

We are experienced cruisers with 16 cruisers under our belt. We aren't really loyal to any brand and have done Royal Caribbean, Carnival and NCL cruises over the last 29 years. We are a couple in our 50's and we like to be entertained, good food and nice ports. Pre-Cruise - We flew from BWI to Orlando on Avelo Airlines. (Avelo Airlines was a huge mistake, all kinds of issues including being ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Escape

We mainly picked this cruise ship because we have sailed with Norwegian in the past and found that the size of their ships are perfect. We have sailed with Royal Caribbean before too and found their ships were too big and had too many people. Our last 3 cruises have been with Norwegian and we can say nothing but good things about the cleanliness and service from the staff. I will say over the ...

Love the reduced capacity, could not go to one port. Great service.

Choose the Escape for dates and departure port. We were looking forward to 3 ports, and Hreat Strirrup Caye. One port was cancelled before we left, Grand Cayman instead another sea day. Not ideal. We were able to NOT wear masks on board which was very nice, but asked to wear them a each port. Have sailed on Norwegian before, first time on Escape. Our first stop is always O'Sheehan's. Best wings, ...

We sailed in February 2022 and had a great time. My husband and I (mid 50s) and our 19 year-old son went on this cruise and got an upgrade to the Haven 2-Bedroom suite. The room was fabulous! Lots of storage (more than we needed with just three of us), very comfortable King-sized bed in the main bedroom and my son seemed fine with the bed in the second, smaller bedroom. Both bedrooms had ...
