Haven crew the BEST

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

I have travel with most of the US cruise lines before. This was my 6th cruise with NCL. We did the first cruise with them before Covid and loved everything about it. First their attention to clean with their "washy washy" and also their free style. Haven is another world. Their attention to detail in every aspect. This was our second cruise in summer 2022 in the Getaway. We did a Baltic cruise ...

This was our first cruise since Covid-19 shut things down. And first time sailing on Norwegian. Up to now we had stuck pretty much to Celebrity Cruises but our last experience on the Edge was less than satisfactory so we tried Norwegian based on a friend’s recommendation. Glad we did, I liked everything about this ship, especially the dining. Food was excellent, I’d say definitely a cut above ...

Amazing professionalism in a difficult situation

My son found the Escape and invited me and his dad to go with us. It was to be a fun family getaway. As is well documented, the boat grounded on a sandbar and had to return to the pier. The cruise was cancelled and Norwegian had to begin the difficult task of disembarkation internationally. I was amazed at the offer of a free refund and the same amount spent credited towards another cruise. ...

Unfortunately our cruise was cut short but during our entire stay we received five star treatment. After an initial mishap involving my bags General Manager Kivanc Ucar took a special interest in ensuring that all our expectations were met and he succeeded. Every time I had a question he or his wonderful assistant Kathleen Francisco were there to help with whatever we needed. Most people will ...

This is our second time on the Escape, last time in 2016. Enjoyed both cruises. You can tell the crew is delighted to be back to work. Over the top helpful and friendly. Ship is in great shape. Our cruise didn't require Passengers to wear Masks on the ship. All the crew wore Masks the entire time. We had Thermal Spa passes for the week which is always wonderful. All 7 days we enjoyed ...

Our return to cruising was a "last minute" (10 day out) booking on the NCL Escape, February 26-March 5, 2022, Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral. This was our first balcony ever! This is also the largest ship we’ve sailed as we usually prefer mid-size. The price was great with the four perks included. The cruise was wonderful! We also learned there was only about 1800 passengers onboard a ...

We set sail on the Escape on Feb. 12, 2022 and don’t get off until March 12, so this is a half time report. Embarkation was a breeze in Port Canaveral after we got the negative Covid test in the tent across from the ship. It took less than an hour from testing to boarding. There were only 1900 people on board so about half full. Service has been excellent from the cabin stewards to the top brass, ...

Amazing cruise after pandemic

We were a little worried about the cruise only because of the media and different things we had read online. This was our 11th cruise with Norwegian and this cruise reminded us why we cruise with Norwegian. Not one time did we ever feel that it was unsafe to be onboard. The entire staff went above and beyond in every aspect. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law went on this cruise with us ...

We always try and cruise during February to break up the cold winter months,Our first time on the Escape and upgrading to the haven, we always had a Balcony cabin but the haven experience was top notch, we had an aft Suite cabin 13906, we spent more time on the Aft balcony suite than we did anywhere else, enjoyed it immensely, we had several lunches served on the balcony by the butler and coffee ...

We are so glad we booked this trip. Service was amazing as usual for NCL! Very safe trip! Sanitizing and cleaning were non-stop. People wore masks while walking around the ship but with being reduced capacity it was easy to find places that you could safely distance yourself! Hotel and restaurant staff were amazing! No reason to ever use another cruise line! Thank you NCL! We took this ...
